What a terrible experience.We called about a Jayco 5th wheel and spoke with Sales Manager Adam. He didn t know much about the unit, other than he was currently in it . He asked that I submit an email with questions and details on my potential trade.I received no follow-up to my call so I called the following day. I was told that no email was ever received and that they were not interested in a trade. I was again told that someone would follow up with me.No follow-up so I called again and talked to Mo . I told him I felt like nobody wanted to sell me the unit. He was a really nice and motivated salesman who said that he d get answers and call me right back. Thankfully he did, although I was told it had three 40#LP tanks and later told it only had one by owner.I asked about the price and was directed to Adam again who gave a price of $78,988, although the RV Trader had it listed at $69,988. Adam had to find out why the difference. Rick (the owner) called me to say there must have been some error, but to his credit offered to honor the price for 1 day only. So I told him I would be there the following day and worked out payment details.We drove over 5 hours (11 hours round trip) to look at and purchase with check in hand to be met with lackluster customer service. Adam seemed shocked we showed up, left us hanging in the lobby while talking with ones that came in after us. He made excuses about being short staffed. Didn t know anything about the unit and the unit was a MESS. There was mud in the floor, on the wall and handrail inside. Personal items everywhere, bed unmade, toothpaste in the sink etc. there was also undisclosed damage to the slide out and roof. Adam had walked away while we were looking at it and was nowhere to be found when I went back inside to tell the receptionist that we were just going to leave.Worst service I have received in a long time.I don t think he expected me to come so he didn t bother to clean. Even so, I think it would have been better to apologize and ask us to give them 30 minutes to clean it up. I would like the owner to know about the experience, but I felt that it would fall on deaf ears.

Great experience with the team here at Jayco Carolinas. Wife and I visited several RV retailers throughout NC and SC but found the RV we wanted at the price and location in our own backyard!! Worth the trip. Professional staff. Transparent, helpful and act with integrity. I will buy from them again and use their service department! Thanks!!

Took camper in for repairs on June 9. July 11 I had not heard from them, so I reached out by text and left a message. July 12, I left another message. July 13 I finally get a call that they can not fix it. When I picked it up the window that needed repair had the rubber seal hanging where the Service Manager had started to remove it on the day I dropped it off. Needless to say I'm very disappointed in the service department.

Well everyone at the dealership is nice - unfortunately that's about where it stops. I bought a brand new JayFlight SLX7(MSRP: $30,000) I was told my fridge is gas and electric, but it's only electric. This would be fine but not practical for off grid(which is why I wanted the ability to have a propane fridge). The front door has to be slammed shut, the bathroom door wont shut, the entire dining area has completely fallen apart AFTER 3 weeks of ownership. I called support for help and their suggestion was call dealerships to get it fixed. The earliest availability to get my 30k camper fixed after it fell apart in 3 weeks? September...so buy a brand new trailer and wait 4 months to get it fixed. Needless to say won't buy another Jayco and won't be purchasing here again.

I was sick with pneumonia. had just gotten out of the hospital, I could not find anyone who would help me out to get my vehicle winterized, these people came through and others could not. My family has been in business sense 1957 in the Charlotte Metro area, I've been around the block a few times and I have owned automotive establishments, these folks have a bright future, Great service, good people, excellent, excellent, prices, no reservations here, AAA++

Salesman didn't know difference in Jayco's various models. No manager on duty. Purchased 2022 White Hawk and had problems first trip: Window retracting side string broke. Shower drain leak; fitting not tight. No TV reception; RF cable in receptacle but not screwed on. Front door latch tongue won't retract when door closing; replaced. Bedroom furnace duct insulation not secure, yellow fiberglass blocking airflow in vent.

We bought our first Jayco from here and let me tell you the process was smooth as it gets. Although another review stated they didn't go out to the trailer with you I view this as an advantage, they gave you the space you needed and time to discuss pros and cons alone rather than hovering over your every step. When we had questions Greg was available to help. Ultimately, after discussing with Greg and Richard they were able to help get me into the dream trailer my wife wanted. I would rank higher than 5 stars if I could. I felt as if my families future memories were their top priority rather than just moving trailers off the lot.

Wonderful experience! Mitch worked with me over the phone to get the price I wanted before I committed to making the 5.5hr drive to purchase the 5th wheel. Paperwork went smoothly and I was out in 2 hours. I highly recommend purchasing a Jayco from Jayco Carolinas.

Very rude customer service over the phone. The man that we spoke to on phone was not informative or willing to give us the time of day. This is very unfortunate because we are ready to make a purchase.

Viewed a camper on this company s website, which is the floor plan I was looking for. Called and talked to Richard. Gave him his stock number that was advertised, told him my wife and myself would like to come see it. He said sure. Got there and knew right away this was a waste of my time. He told us it was unlocked, help your self. Guess he was not inclined to show us around. The unit was not unlocked. So came and unlocked it. Turns out this was not the model we were looking for. Then he informed us it was sold this morning. Watch off for this lazy salesmen and his bait and switch ways.Dave Teague. 7/31/20
