First time I have used Woodie's Auto Service and it was outstanding. I worked with Larry and he was just as fantastic. Never tried to up sale me on anything I didn't need. Warned me about things that I could have issues with but never pushed anything extra. Found the problem quickly, completed the job quickly, was very reasonable in price. Cleanest shop I have ever seen. Everything was excellent and top notch. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back for future services. Thanks guys for taking my 94 Mustang in for care.Mint Hill location

Great experience. Technician Orlando Morales did a great job working on my vehicle. Service advisor Larry Mitchell was professional and knowledgeable. He kept me well informed of everything. They treated my Honda far better than the dealership. And I didn t even need an appointment. Great job Woodies. I will be back for my inspection and maintenance minders for my vehicle.

As I mentioned to the staff, I have never had a better experience with an auto establishment. I was not ripped off or overcharge. I immediately had the friendliest shuttle driver take me back to my house and within 4 hours my services were complete and I was picked back up within 10 minutes and home with my car. Larry, Joe and Victoria provided the best service. The Establishment is very clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly professional and as I mentioned to my husband we will never use anywhere else. This place is definitely the best and if you've never used them definitely check them out. They have various locations.

Exceptional customer service! Josh and Bobby are fantastic! They worked with our warranty company for 3 weeks and advocated for us with a positive end result! Once our engine replacement was approved they had us back on the road, safely, in a matter of days. They are honest with fair prices, and we won t go anywhere else to service our vehicles! Thank you!

Had the BEST experience I ve ever had at any automotive shop. So kind, understanding, and though they were thorough it was a quick fix. The hospitality was beyond general expectations. 10/10 recommend.

Very professional and modern service with regular updates. Josh was very communicative, he went through all the items that could end servicing and we were able to tackle the most serious ones first. Car was serviced on time. Highly recommended and will be returning.

Woodies in Mint Hill:#1 charged for an oil leak that was repaired with the oil pan. The two days later I returned showing significant oil leak on card board that was placed under the vehicle. The oil leak was from the rear seal that was missed in their, "inspection".#2. My vehicle was towed to Woodies on Friday at lunch time by AAA, with a failure to start that was Not caused by a failed battery. The next day on Saturday, Technician found a blown fuse. He replaced the fuse, attempted to start the vehicle only to blow the replaced fuse. I asked what fuse was blown and was told it was the #46 fuse. I checked on line and found that fuse controls the ignition. I called back to Woodies and asked then to replace the ignition switch. At that time I also provided the part maker and the part number for that common ignition fuse. It is now Saturday afternoon. I called Woodies on Monday asking when my vehicle would be ready. I was told possibly ready by Tuesday. 3 1/2 days to replace an ignition switch that takes no more that 1.1/2 hours at most by certified mechanic. The charge I paid was a few dollars less than $500.00I will Not be using this or any other Woodies again

Been there twice for various services, so far. Friendly folks who are thorough in looking things over and discuss what needs to be done. Willing to work with you. And they got everything done rather quickly (in our cases at least...,). They also provide a shuttle service back and forth to there in case you need it. Thanks, you all.

My engine light when on and I needed an oil change because they check why my engine light was on last! They told me my car needed a whole new engine and they still had done the oil change so I m out a car and they still made me pay for a oil change on a car that s is now junk. I brought this attention to the manager and he was very rude I wouldn t recommend here at all they will charge you an arm and a leg to tell you you car is not worth fixing!!!!!!

The leadership of this store is amazing terrible. I m not talking about store managers but district management. I was there for 2 weeks and I was let go from a customer complaint that was totally false and untrue. But did management follow up with this, no they told my store manager to let me go over the phone that night. Since that night I ve been calling my district manager and he won t answer because I was told he can t handle confrontations coward . So Monday I got a phone call from the store manager saying it would be easier on them to just pay me a money order for my 2 weeks pay. Whatever I took it but it was only for 1 week, and of course guess who won t answer his phone? That s right Patrick the coward! I should ve never got fired for something to happen on my second day at work. I believe someone should ve talk to me over the years with service management under me never once what I have fired anybody on their second day for something they didn t even do I would ve talk to them and discuss the issue and figure out what the real problem was!

They run a very clean shop. They also checked the vehicle thoroughly and checked for mileage items. Don't go if you prefer cheap and shoddy, though.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!I bring my truck yesterday ( 9/31/23 )For an oil change and replace the brake pads. They call today ( 01/11/23 ) and said my truck was ready.Arrived at this place just to find out the cost of the work done is $1208.97 I ask 3 times this is for the oil change and brake pads? and the answer was yes when I complained about the expensive oil change and brake pads they said oh we did the oil change,replace the brake pads AND THE ROTORS the answer at my question why did you guys replace the rotors? was we aways replace that when we replace the brake pads wow ( This rotors where replaced a year ago and I know they don t need to be replaced ) I pay in full and took my keys I bring my cars here since they opened this place but one thing is for sure I WILL NEVER CAME BACK

I was very satisfied with the response to my concerns. The service was excellent from the initial contact with the service advisor, mechanics including the shuttle driver. The repairs were completed in a timely manner. And the cost was reasonable. I will be a customer in the future for needed car repairs. It was an overall positive experience.

After an extended search for honest and reliable auto repair shops near me, I decided to give Woodie s repair center in Mint Hill a try. They had done work for my neighbor and she was very happy with their work.I initially visited their shop 3 months ago to get acquainted before scheduling an appointment. After describing my problem to Victoria, I was very impressed with how she described the needed repairs and provided a written estimate of the cost. I decided to authorize the repairs and scheduled an appointment.After the work was done, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the actual cost was about 14% less than the estimate due to reduced part costs! Also, the mechanic who did the work decided that a possible alignment wasn t yet needed, thus saving me over $100. Needless to say, this level of honesty isn t always the case when dealing with auto repair shops!After this initial positive experience, I returned to Woodie s for two more appointments in the past 2 months. In each case, I was very pleased with both the quality of the work and the customer-friendly way that it was handled.So, I highly recommend anyone needing auto repair work in the Mint Hill area to consider Woodie s on Lawyers Road. I ve referred several friends to them and all have been as satisfied as me.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Steering & suspension repair, Auto water leak repair, Vehicle safety inspection

Brought my truck in was running poorly was told it was my timing chain and it would be 2300 dollars to fix took it to another mechanic and he fixed the problem which was 4 plugs had oil on them never again will I go to Woodie

Great service and knowledgeable staff. Their customer service is impeccable. Had to change my brakes and the service was done the same day. If you need someone to drop you off at home while the car is in the shop, they will do that for you.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Great job and the alignment guy really knows what he's doing.Just beware, these guys over book to compensate for no shows.I had an appointment at 8:30 but I didn't get my car back until almost 4. An alignment only takes about an hour and a half.Make sure you get a ride home because they are gonna keep your car for a long time.

As an older woman driving an older car, the staff of Woodie s Mint Hill recognizes my needs and tries to help me perform preventive maintenance before trouble happens! They patiently answer my questions AND anticipate the ones I don t know to ask. Very helpful and kind at all times. I no longer go to the dealership I go to Woodie s!

They are always so nice to us when we come in or call! Victoria, Zach, Ben are so knowledgeable and helpful and make sure we are happy. They have been so great about fitting us in even though they are understaffed at times. And they are great about giving us updates and etas on our repairs. The folks at Woodies did a fast job of finding the problem and fixing it. The diagnostic was reasonably priced and the labor cost to fix the problem was fair. The price for the part was too high, but that's what NAPA was charging. Got the job done in a couple days unlike the dealership who couldn't even schedule me in until Sept.

The Team worked on my vehicle AC. Drop away and the AC stopped working after the trip home. The Team at Woodies worked on the vehicle until it was fixed! What diligence and perseverance from the mechanics to keep going until fully repaired!

i would never recommend this location to anyone. they were very unprofessional and very clueless. without my authorization they were planning to keep my car overnight to fix everything when all i went for was a diagnostic test. poor communication. no one called to tell me any information on my car or when it was ready for pick up. when i arrived to get my car they misplaced my key. poor customer service. no one answers the phone when you call.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Dropped car off at 9:15a for an oil change, caught an Uber, arrived at Woodie s @ 4:00p. Car was still not done, matter of fact it was still in the air. Called at 3:21p and the guy said they will be finished in 15 minutes.It s 4:22p, I m still waiting and my car is still in the air. Absolutely ridiculous!!!It s 4:40p and I m still waiting!!! They Pulled my car around at 4:44p. So what they did was did my oil change in the 44 minutes they had me waiting, but my car was there almost 8 hours!!I know they don t care, but I will NEVER patronize this business again. Oil changes take at a maximum 1 hour at the dealerships on a very busy day (Saturdays) Service: General repairs & maintenance
