Rushed job on our transmission rebuild resulted in loose bolts in the transfer case and no one put the oil back in the transfer case which now we are having that rebuilt now. If you have to check behind someone maybe choose someone else. Get what you pay for he was $1500 under other mechanics for this job. This was done last summer truck ran 500 miles and locked up this is how we know. Never tried to make thing right. Stopped answering or returning calls.. definitely won t get our business again or anyone we may know

Two Ford transmission rebuilds (different vehicles) and I will be back when needed. I only have major work done on my vehicles, oil changes and such I normally do. I've had two transmissions rebuilt by Ken and both work great. I sold the F150 about a year after it was rebuilt but it work flawlessly for the year I continued to drive it. It took the exact amount of time he estimated. Most fair price I could find. My Explorer transmission was rebuilt a year ago (2016). Shifts nice and smooth with no problems. Again, right on schedule and a fair price. Now it's time for the Explorer's timing chains. It's going back to Ken for these. Needless to say, no more fords for me. Two transmissions and engine removal for timing chains in 4 years is a little much.

After getting jerked around by Woodies in Mint Hill, we pumped out car to Sever. They did a great job despite being short-handed. Good communication and a fair price.

Horrible communication,the owner called me back that evening I left him a message,saying I wanted to make an appointment for him to look at my vehicle for a transmission problem. He said he could fit it in around the 18th or 20th of January, Angie called on the 19th and told me to drop it off that evening and they will work on it tomorrow. That was the last I have heard from them and after a week and a half of my vehicle not being worked on and no messages returned I picked up my vehicle and will be taking it elsewhere. Somebody that actually wants to work and return messages at least.

I had my 3/4 ton Suburban in for a transmission rebuild almost 5 years ago now. It's a 4L80E and was slipping badly. They had the truck about 3 weeks I think but told me the repair kit was "beefed up" and to this day it shifts a little hard into 2nd gear. Not that I mind it shifting hard. The transmission has worked flawlessly since! It even cost a little less than they quoted me in the end.

I was informed from the start it would take a couple of days to fix my f150. I was cool with it. I had fantastic service . The guys where truthful, straight up and that matters nowadays. Those that say " they had my vehicle for a long time because there's two of them " you anwsered your own complaint. These gentlemen are doing their best while helping people out. So every one freaking chill. Hell i went to pick up my truck today and forgot my debt card and they let me use my truck to go get my cash!. I for one will be back..

Ken is awesome. He was able to fix issues we've had on our 92 Buick Roadmaster that nobody else could figure out,, find or repair. Thank you Ken. I took my car in for what I thought was a big job (clutch replacement), but the issue was a minor one (hyrdraulic leak).I really appreciate the honesty and the info Ken gave me about what to expect as I get more miles on the car. He even stayed a bit late on a Friday afternoon so I could pick it up. Much appreciated!

Pizza for dinner..The story goes..Before I ordered, I looked up the reviews for local pizza eats.. This inspired me to look up other places of people I know or frequent for services.. Which brings me to why I am here..I could not believe the bad reviews and in such a short time frame.. I called the shop to let Ken know, I thought something was wrong. I was then informed of a situation by Ken.I took it upon myself as a retired Private Investigator to check into this matter. I feel one incident could have spawned other issues. This conclusion arose from circumstance. All I can say, associated IP addresses is a high possibility and could be a common matter.Knowing this business very well and a very long time. They have performed maintenance, serviced, repaired and even installed high performance after market parts to every vehicle personal and business I own or owned . In the past 10 years., these vehicles included a Corvette, Range Rover, vans, trucks and several other personal vehicles. I have also sent many people to this business. While everyone is entitled to their opinions good, bad or even offensive. Like the old days, take it on the chin and move on!This is America period!It is when one becomes over zealous, they can possibly break the law. Not seeing the end result in the process.. In closing this review is legitimate and I've experienced good service. I truly hope these sites review and remove some of these derogatory comments. I wouldn't mind if mine was removed as well.. I did not want to leave a book long review but had no choice.

John Charles Platzer was asked numerous times what can be done to help make his experience with us better and he flat out said that he want's to ruin our business over a matter of two hundred dollars which would have been gladly refunded had he wanted us to. He is being unreasonable and completely unfair considering that his was vehicle was diagnosed and repaired properly with manufacture specific parts for a reasonable amount.

This is a two man shop run by Ken Sever and his one employee. Cars are littered throughout his lot, which should raise flags to anyone considering leaving their car there.Ken Sever and he will hold your car hostage and then over charge you if you tell him you need it back. Caveat emptor!
