Honest honest honest! I was only driving by when I had an emergency. They charged me zero to take care of my oil pan cover dragging, which was making an awful grinding noise. Harwood Automotive has been our go-to mechanic for a while now and they have always been professional and efficient. They are always busy, so apparently many folks in the area agree with me. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Great first experience. Went in for an alignment as their rack is large enough to fit my truck. They found that my ball joints were bad and needed new ones before an alignment. Only suggestion I have is to take the extra time to find parts for aftermarket upgrades you may not be familiar with. I was able to obtain correct part numbers in under 5 minutes. Would have streamlined the process and earned a 5 star if this was handled for me. Will still be returning.

Update: I still love Harwood...been going to them for years, I love that I can go there and they are always honest and just genuine. I highly recommend!I love these guys, they are honest and will not do you wrong. My husband has gone to them for years and just this last years I decided to take my car, they have taken very good care of me and never try and throw a "man knows more" vibe. I highly recommend for everyone and for women who don't know a whole lot about cars

They were honest, revealing to me that I did not need to do the three services I inquired about until later on around 100,000 miles. Another service I asked about did not need to be performed on my car at all. Everything was explained to me. Friendly helpful staff. I felt very at ease dealing with them and will feel comfortable going back to them.

Went there to fix my transmisson mount but helped me identify the real issue and quoted me a good price ended up being less than the quoted price and helped by charging my battery and filling my tires up with air. Greta people and helpful

Needed some repairs done quickly so I could make it 18 hours back home. Every other shop I called said they were backed up and wouldn't be able to get to me until the following week. I called Harwood and spoke with two guys named Jamie and Archie. They said they'd check out the vehicle and see if they could have the work done by the afternoon before they closed. These guys are the real deal!!! So of course I got the call back that same day saying it was ready! Also the cost was way less than I thought it would be so that's also a plus. I made it all the way back home thanks to these guys! Thank you for everything! I will be referring you to everyone I know in the area and use you when I'm back in NC and need anything done.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Finally, an honest mechanic!!! The actual cost of my repair was lower than the estimate they gave, so they charged the actual amount. It was about a $60 difference so they could have easily charged the amount of the estimate, but they didn't. They have never made recommendations that were not needed.

I been to Harwood Automotive a couple of times. Being a mechanic myself I can be a little picky. All their work has been satisfactory and completed in a timely manner.

I would recommend Harwood automotive. They will call and keep you updated on your vehicle and give you options on what you would like to do. They have a transmission flush machine which most garages don't have.
