They usually have the exact part we need. There's nice accessories for cars as well as parts. There's a big selection of cleaning products. If you need wiper blades or a battery, they will install for free.

Memorial Day weekend we were traveling from Florida to Virginia. We were hauling a boat to our son. Twenty minutes away from our final destination, we discovered after making a quick stop at Lowe s, that our wheel bearings on the right trailer tire were damaged. We went over to the Mayodan, NC Advance Auto Parts store across from the parking lot, and received help from the Assistant manager. He came outside to take a look at the wheel and wheel bearings, and told us what size part we would need for a replacement. He was also helpful by telling us how to put the new part on. He checked back on us from time to time. We didn t have all of the needed tools to do the job, but he had some we could borrow from behind the counter. (During this whole time it was raining! ) This assistant manager was truly an angel who was in the right place at the time we needed help. We will be forever grateful! Thank you!

I went in to this store looking to buy equipment for my car, brakes, oil filter and more. Was greeted my a young man who started helping me, when his manager a older woman told the young man to do something else. As she began ringing me up the phone ring, and she perseeded to put me on hold and deal with the customer on the phone. Her excuse for making me wait was he was a customer, my return was so am I. These companies or should I say these people in these small towns feel so entitled that they think they can talk to you or treat you any type of way, and that's not right. If your reading this go somewhere else. They don't deserve your money or time.

Associate was simply unpleasant. I went inside in need of a car battery. It was 4:56 and apparently his shift ended at 5. I told him I needed a car battery, the first thing he said if you need it installed, it won t be me, I m leaving in 4 minutes . I feel there are more polite ways to convey that message. Throughout the rest of the interaction he seemed incredibly annoyed that he was working the last few minutes of his shift. I then told him the make and model of my car and he responded that they won t change a battery in the car because it s hard to do and then explained everything that would be needed to do. I asked if there were any tools there I could use to remove the battery myself, referencing the free loaner tool set advertised, he said they had a few tools but failed to elaborate or provide me with any. I left the store and thankfully my car started or I probably would have had to rely on a customer to jump me off. I ve been a cashier at a gas station for three years, dealing with some of the worst members of society on a literal daily basis for a small wage, and I treat the customers there with much more respect than I received today. Most of my customers spend under 5 dollars, I was fully intending to pay 120-150. Many times I have stayed 5-10 minutes after we closed at 11pm to assist customers that came in before everything was locked up. I just have no idea why the associate I met today was so uninterested in being the slightest bit helpful. I used to shop here exclusively, now I really have no reason to return with how saturated this area is with competitors.

Make sure you call and confirm when parts are being shipped in from a different facility. Was told parts were going to be delivered in the AM when the receipt said 4PM delivery. Then the warehouse decided to not make that delivery for some unclear reason. Don't trust what you hear, call first.Edit: the management team made it right in the moment and the leadership shows initiative to support customers.

Went in for a battery for my truck and a wiper blade, the girl at the counter was very nice, hence the one star, however, the other guy there was busy hitting the counter with his knuckle, leaning against the counter, and based on what I saw, doing nothing. The girl asked him a question and he basically ignored her. And guess what, there was no one in the store at the time or in the parking lot. I guess he was to lazy to put in a battery, must less get off the counter, it was pretty sad to see a business lose a $250.00 sale because of laziness and a willingness to provide customer service. I told the girl I would go to auto zone, and this was a Wednesday before thanksgiving. Auto zone was fantastic. You can imagine that i will never go back to advance auto ever again. 2022

The other review was not meant for Advance Auto, sorry, this Advance Auto is the best one I have ever dealt with and purchased from, they have the nicest people and the most helpful, the other places don't compare.

The level of service one receives here is next level. The staff top to bottom are incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The store is impeccably clean and well organized. They offer great quality auto parts at an affordable price. I highly recommend visiting them for your all of your auto parts needs.

Just got us (my wife, our son, and myself) a new to us car. Great car. We just needed a set of wiper blade refills, and the antenna for the radio to pick up better stations bc the original anteena had been removed from the car prior to us getting it today. So after calling 3 different places for price check...... advanced was the cheapest and awesome friendly staff and service. Thank you guys so much. Continued service with you guys from now on.

This advance Auto parts has quality customer service, they know exactly which part that you need. I went for a battery installation and they went exactly straight to the battery I needed and did the installation for me no problem.

Ethan (the manager) is seriously one of the main reasons why I come to this store. Very knowledgable and great customer service. Has a good, knowledgable staff as well. The only car parts store I like going to

I shared a problem with the gentleman that works there can't remember his name But he has a big beard and a mustache And we are discussing battery and alternator and he answered all my questions And the conversation was in depth And I thank you very much
