Outstanding service! I recently had my catalytic converter replaced at this mechanic shop, and I couldn't be happier. The job was done swiftly, and the price was very reasonable. My Ford Explorer wouldn't start. Had it towed here. Was told I needed a new instrument cluster. (Gages in the dashboard) It took 3 weeks to locate a used dash panel, cut out wires and replace unit and dash padding.The vehicle started twice. Once to return home and once more. Explorer back to exactly previous condition. How would you feel?

I had a really great experience at Best Auto Repair here in Matthews. I brought my car in because a check-engine light was preventing a passed inspection. After first installing a part that they later determined was defective, they were able to order a replacement part within an hour, had it installed AND went ahead and inspected my car and it passed.These are great people here and they will look out for you and your auto.

I will echo many of the details outlined by others. It's hard to find a respectable and honest garage that truly puts the customer first. I recently had a custom part installed at Best Auto, and an adjacent part was barely damaged during the process, completely by accident. Susie at Best Auto was the ultimate example of what great customer service looks like. Other garages may have tried to dodge the responsibility of putting things right, but not at Best Auto. Susie and the mechanic immediately apologized for the inconvenience, had my bring my vehicle back and expedited the repair, with zero expense to me. I have not had this experience at other garages, and they definitely secured me as a loyal customer through this experience.

Great staff, good customer service, fast state inspections, and reasonable service pricing. Recommend for any car, but I use Toyota and Subaru for reference.

Such a great experience here, highly recommend! Went for a 120k mile maintenance on my car without knowing much about them beyond other google reviews. I ve been to great and awful places in the past, in various states, and this place was definitely one of the best experience I ve had. I was able to make an appointment the day before and the team was very professional, friendly and honest. The recommended repairs were in line with my expectations and cost was absolutely fair. They even helped cheer up my son in the office after a rough morning at home. It s been a couple weeks since our appointment and my car is doing great even after a long road trip.

Paid $65 for an incorrect diagnoses.I paid $65 for them to diagnose a brake issue for me. They told me the front passenger brake line was leaking and the caliper was bad, and said they would wave the diagnoses fee if I paid them over $320 to fix it. I said no thanks, and paid the $65.I took my wheel off, and the only issue was a loose bleeder valve. Brake lines were fine, and caliper was fine. I bled the brakes and tightened the valve and I m good to go. Waste of $65. Only reason I m not giving 1 star is because at least I knew which wheel to look at because of their diagnoses. Went for nc inspection. A little tough to find. A small business with friendly employees. The inspection was quick with the necessary documentation. I would use again.Used again for the inspection of my other car.

Outstanding service!! Anderson always goes above and beyond on service!! After asking him to check 3 noises I had been hearing, he said everything was great! Other places would have definitely found something to charge me for! Highly recommend!

This place is awesome. My car was vibrating like crazy on acceleration, and I thought it was the motor mounts. I called Anderson on a Saturday to see if he could replace the mounts for me on a rush, since I had to travel on Monday (I was only in Charlotte for the weekend since I am a college student in GA).He mentioned he was short staffed, yet he was kind enough to have me come in on Monday and drop the car off. Monday comes along and I drop the car off first thing in the morning. As I am leaving the shop, I see him taking my car into the shop to work on. Soon after I get a call from him. He tells me the motor mounts are fine, and the vibration is coming from a front bad axle and, further, a loud noise is being caused by a bad rear wheel bearing. I had heard the noise he was talking about while driving before, but didn t know what was causing it. I ask him if he can fix both issues and he says yes but it would probably take until Tuesday. Upon consideration, I tell him to go ahead and order the parts and do the repair, and I would try to skip class on Tuesday. Later on Monday, I get a call saying my car is ready to pickup!When I get my car and drive it, it feels completely changed! It drives so much better than before without the vibration from the axle. And considering the time constraint he was dealing with, I was really impressed with the speed and quality of the service, including the attention given to personally communicating with me via text and phone calls multiple times that day.So, not only did they correctly identify and fix the problem, they also chose NOT to do extra work that was not needed (saving me money) and were extremely kind and accommodating during the entire process.I will be returning whenever I need work done. Out of all the mechanics I have been to, this one is hands down the best. I can t recommend Anderson and his team enough!

They literally are the best. The best humans and the best auto repair shop. They treat people like people instead of just a paycheck. I will never take my car anywhere else. If you want to be treated well and not taken advantage of I highly recommend bringing your car here.

Every single person that I spoke to at Best Auto was amazing. They were honest, quick and communicative. I had a caliper that was completely worn down. I thought it was going to be $1000 s to fix. I can t say enough good things! I was stalled out near by and able to push my car into a nearby gas station. AAA wasn t able to handle us due to Covid (I can t ride w tow truck and two kids as per their policy), so I called Best as they were close. They offered to push the car to their shop. They diagnosed it and the repair price was surprisingly fair. They were able to fix in less than two hours and even gave me their courtesy vehicle so I could finish the errands I d set out to do with my kids. Everyone was so nice and I was on my way quickly. I totally forgot about getting my car inspection until the last day. I called around and noone had space to fit me in without a 3-4 hour wait. I explained my situation ( had to pick up my child at a certain time)and Best Auto got me in, right away. They were kind and courteous, no judgememt on waiting until the last minute!! They topped off my fluids, too. I was in and out in no time. Great service and great attitude. I will be back!!

I'm new to the area and needed my truck fixed. Best Auto Repair was recommended by a new neighbor. I read the online reviews and decided to take a chance with them. I'm very happy I did! They got me up and running again with no unpleasant surprises. The estimate was only a few dollars off from the final bill. I have an old truck so I probably will need to call on them more than I would like, but, it's great to have a repair shop that you can rely on and trust! I highly recommend this business!

I had some minor work done on one vehicle and ask them to take a look at my 2nd vehicle to see if it needed any suspension work. They said it all looked good, so no work was needed. No charge. Excellent work, fast, fair priced, Honest, ethical professionals. I dropped off my Toyota Tacoma to get a suspension leveling kit installed with Best Auto on Monday. Anderson and his team did a fantastic job the truck looks amazing.
