I had a great experience here and they gave me a great deal. Just one request, please please please don t crush any more Crown Victorias, Grand Marquis or Town Cars. Parts for these cars are becoming so hard to find. I ll be back in six months to see if y all have more inventory. Please don t crush them.

Use to be a great yard! Yard is an absolute disaster! All vehicles are flat on the ground/ yard is very overgrown and parts scattered everywhere/ almost no body that speaks English and the ones that do never can help unless they are taking your money/ no inventory online. Complete waste of your time and the corporation that bought Rusty's money!

A driver for Rusty's Pic a Part drove over an asphalt berm that protects my property from water damage. Although the damage to the berm was slight, it has the potential to compromise the integrity of a portion of the berm itself. I immediately notified the driver and contacted Daniel, the self-proclaimed manager of the business. Daniel stated the driver is claiming he did no damage (although the driver was very cooperative with me at my home), and refused to give me his name and address so that I could provide written documentation of the incident. The reason he gave is because "we NEVER do damage to property." When I asserted that the contact information could be attained from the neighbor who hired his services, he finally consented. I can't say I'd be eager to do business with this kind of person.

They are friendly and open on Saturday. they really need an online inventory, it would save so much time. The selection of vehicles is a bit on the small side now. I was surprised that they had nothing even close to the make and model of Toyota or Suzuki we were looking for today.

They are the BEST when it comes to accepting crushed cans, that is where the positive reviews stop. Most of their stock has already been "pic'd-a-part". They also do not maintain their property very well.

Very very slow, don't act like they care if they sell you anything or not if asked to leave a name or number they never never call back, poor business management.

Sold my car to them. They made 3 different appointments to come pick it up from my house, and failed to show up all three times without so much as a phone call. When they finally did show up, it was 2 hours early, and they left because I wasn t there. When I called to complain about that, I was rudely corrected on the phone that it wasn t 2 hours ir was an hour and a half early These people are wildly unprofessional and disorganized. Do not use this service

Waste of time now. Every vehicle sits on the ground now, nothing in the air to pick the good stuff. Weeds are so overgrown you can hardly get around. Cars aren't spaced out so you can barely squeeze down some of the isles. Also the amount of trash on the ground is outrageous. New owners are ruining this place. I'll never go again.

Very unprofessional, the people working had no idea what was going on. I needed my car gone by a certain day, I called and scheduled the pick up a week in advance and when the confirmed pick up day arrived surprise, surprise they were suddenly unable to come get it. A waste of time and terrible experience. I would give this business 0 stars.

I have no experience with this business, but I did personally see the damage they left behind at a friend s house. The gouged up yard, the tracks plowing right through the flower garden were kind of shocking! And the attitude that we need to go-leave it! certainly did NOT show respect for private property. You cannot stay in business long in a small town area with such disregard for other people s hard work in maintaining an attractive home. Notice that the vast majority of happy customers dealt with the previous owners. Things have changed drastically!

Go somewhere else. Paid the fee then wasn't told where the car I needed parts off of was at, not even a general direction. Then was stopped when I tried to go on the yard, twice. Was told I needed to go to the office and pay the fee which I already had. Total waste of time. The whole place is shady, I was warned about it and should have listened.

This place is very organized & is well maintained! Various cars & trucks are organized by manufacturer of vehicle which makes finding the car parts you need much easier. My brother (and myself sometimes) goes to Rusty's often and the guys are always professional, nice and willing to help out with any questions and/ or concerns. Overall pricing of parts is competitive and good. The owner Larry as well is friendly and runs a tight ship! Keep up the good work fellows...

Front counter at first seems kinda dry, but the guy will help you in ANY WAY possible. The owner Larry is exceptional. I couldn't afford tires one time and he seriously asked me what I wanted to pay for them. Great people, scrap prices are a little low, but the great people and service makes up for it

Some parts are available but some are picked over but that's because it's a good opportunity to save money by removing parts by yourself. The staff are like friends to me. We joke &,carry on like we are friends. If they woul just keep more riding mowers I would be happy. Lol. Owner is friendly & helpful too. Review was from brothers phone but I wrote & experience their business. Samuel Noblitt

Nice place and nice employees. Never been to restrooms so can't tell you if clean or not. Not a lot of parking but it is free. Kind of high on parts compared to the other pick a parts and they are very slow putting other cars in yard. Web site is almost always down so can't tell when they do.

I live in Mars Hill, but l will gladly make the trip to Rusty s to see what parts are left on a car if l see it in inventory. Far and away the most reasonable auto parts in Asheville. Every single member of the staff is very helpful and experienced. Please note that certain parts do have a core charge on them due to their scrap value, so if possible you my want to bring in your junk parts beforehand if there is some scrap value to them. In my opinion this is a super well run small business.

It's pretty cool!! You just go in pay $2 per person to check out the inventory, find your make and model then start taking off the parts you need

I showed up to get some parts that would take me less then 10 min to get. Upon walking inside I was told sorry we are closed I asked the man behind the counter how are you closed when your store hrs are posted as 5 pm it being 4:33 I asked the guy if he could let it slide as being a first time customer and it only being 4:33. I was told sorry we don't let anyone into the yard at a half he before closing. My response was then I guess your not open to five like the sign on your door says and online says 5 as well. It being 4:33 an not letting me in yard gives me the impression that at 4:30 I would have been denied also. All I was getting was a axle shaft for a Dana 60 rear that it only take 8 bolts to remove. What a freaking joke guess you made enough money for the day. No where did I see online that you had to arrive a half he early. Update your info an actually let people know these things an you won't lose anymore business like you just did. I'm telling everyone I know that the place is a joke. Also after I was denied access and told the yard access was closed at 4:30 why did I watch non company trucks drive into the yard? i WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!!!!

Under New owners from another country, they do not speak well and are very rude. The prices now are crazy as if they don't want you to buy. They are crushing like I have never seen before, it looks like this is going to be a recycling yard now.

Employees are too preoccupied with their cell phones to be of any help they ask can I help you then look at their phones while you re stating what you need and they don t even listen so you have to repeat everything and they are clueless to inventory and location

Being using this place for a long time now its a bit of a drive so I always call a head to see if the have the car that i need in stock, To the last post yes the stop people form going in at 4:30 but if your in the yard before that you don't half to leave till 5:00. I have always found the staff there to be very helpful and most of the time you can't bet the price.

I've been to a few such lots, and this is a good one. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly at checkout. It's a little bit of a drive from Asheville, but I would gladly do it again.

Friendly staff, good prices. Lots of good parts on the model I'm restoring. I noticed lots of 90s Japanese sedans, I can't wait to go back when it stops raining.

I called Rusty's and asked if they had a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder in the yard and I was told yes. I went there a few hours later (making a special trip an hour out of my way) and at the counter I paid the entry fee. I found the car and the part I needed was on the car but I noticed the car was a flood vehicle with soot/mud everywhere! Since the part I needed was electrical, I decided not to remove it. On the way back to the main building I noticed there were other flood vehicles as well. I told the rep. about the car being flooded and he replied that they have been meaning to get rid of those cars. I then asked for my entry fee back because I felt I should have been told the car was a flood vehicle, but he said no. To the owner who offered a reviewer else "free passes" who was denied entry at 4:33 pm when your stated hours are closing at 5 pm, don't offer me any passes, I won't be coming back. So, to anyone considering going there, ask if the vehicle you're interested in is a flood vehicle, and if you are told yes, then don't pay the fee and leave.

The new owners don t care about their neighbors and disturb the whole community at early and extremely late hours. Go home at 5:30 like the old owners did.
