I got my f150 serviced here. I didn t know it was typically appointment as I m from out of town. My service advisor Dylan worked his butt off to make sure I was taken care of and was able to get my oil changed. He was the man and super helpful. Extremely fair prices as my oil changes back home are 30-50 more than what this one cost me. I had my 2 year old little girl with me and the waiting room had a tv and snacks for her to keep entertained. I honestly can t recommend this dealership enough I would give 100 stars if I could. You guys rock and would honestly consider the travel to buy a new truck here when that timr comes. Thank you guys for taking care of me and my family!!!

Just bought a 2023 Bronco Sport, I love the car. It handles great and looks fantastic. The dealership gave me a good deal and they kept me informed on the delivery date.I m already adding some chrome to the car.

I could not be more pleased with my car buying experience at R. D. Sawyer Motor Co Inc. I initially set up an appointment for my significant other to purchase a vehicle; I had been considering a new vehicle purchase as well but wasn't fully committed. I was so impressed with the way Bruce Polansky listened, really listened, to his list of must haves and his list of absolutely do not wants, as well as his commitment to finding the perfect truck, no stress, no hype. It truly was like having a conversation with a friend about finding the perfect truck. I decided on the spot this was the man to sell me my new vehicle. Bruce located the perfect color and model Ford Bronco and delivered the vehicle two days earlier than expected. On his day off to boot! Mike ensured that the financing was seamless. He emailed me the various warranties, again no stress and no hype, and called to discuss the payment plans and incentive interest rates. From my initial call to Dock to set up a time to come in, through vehicle selection with Bruce and financing with Mike, not to mention some pretty great conversations with Byron, the entire experience was seamless. There is something to be said about a small-town, family dealership dedicated to customer service and establishing relationships. I cannot recommend this dealership enough!

Best Ford dealership around. A1 service and sales. Ill never use another Ford Dealership. By the way.... I travel 1.50 hours to get to Sawyer Ford.

I bought a used Ford Transit and it couldn't have been any easier. The salesman Jaurice was responsive and easy to work with. Transparent pricing on the vehicle and they were willing to check out and remedy a few flaws I had found before completing my purchase. Great job R D Sawyer!

Camping at OBX Campground when my check engine light comes on in my F150. Called R D Sawyer and explained that my app says the truck has detected an issue with my catalytic converter. I have to be out of here by Saturday, do they have any way to squeeze in to check it out. Crystal tells me that they're booked for two weeks and there's nothing they can do to help. She didn't even think about it. She didn't consider any possibilities. She just tells me to contact another dealer because there's nothing they can do. Times are good at R D Sawyer. Take your business to another dealer that is willing to help.

I have always wanted a Ford Ranger as long as I can remember. I inherited my previous vehicle, and never had the experience of purchasing a vehicle on my own. RD allowed me to take the truck out for a day and test drive and have my mechanic look over it. Throughout the day I badgered this company with a surplus of calls with questions and they always were quick to answer and didn't get frustrated with me. Colleen provided wonderful customer service and prompt responses. Dock and his lovely wife made me feel so comfortable purchasing my first vehicle on my own and were so patient. One of the owners had also given my truck a fresh paint job making it look suave and sleek! I highly recommend RD Sawyer!

Incomplete work! Sent me home with no brakes, almost got into an accident! This shop does not take the appropriate time to evaluate vehicles and ensure they are returning a SAFE vehicle to their client. Do not trust their work!

While on vacation my sensor came on saying low tire pressure. I found a screw in my front tire and googled Ford dealership near me. I pulled up to RD Sawyer Ford, within 15 minutes my tire was repaired and a new tire was ordered. I went back when my special order tire arrived and was there for a total of 30 minutes. To say the service exceeded my expectations is an understatement. Crystal was professional, friendly and all smiles. Shane carried out the repairs on my tire and did so quickly and was also professional and friendly. I would highly recommend RD Sawyer Ford. They re what a 5-Star dealership is all about! With gratitude I say thank you

We were on vacation when the transmission line to the transmission cooler started to leak. We called R D Sawyer Ford and spoke with Dylan. He arranged for us to come in - he quickly fixed the problem despite the high volume in the reair shop, and directed us to the rental agency where we could rent a car for a day. Dylan is GREAT! He showed us a video of the problem and repair. Not only does he have a great automotive knowledge, but his customer service and demeanor is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about him. He saved our vacaction. Give Dylan a BIG RAISE!

My water pump went out in my 2013 Ford Explorer while I was on vacation in Nags Head NC. Called R D Sawyer on Thursday morning and they looked at it Thursday afternoon and they found the problem they gave me a estimate for the repair and I told them to go ahead and fix it. They had it completed with in 3 days after later !!!! I was Very pleased with the service that I received !!! Also Crystal in the service department was extremely helpful !!!!! Thanks for Y'all's Great service !!!!

Unfortunately, while we were on our family vacation in the OBX my car broke down. We we re left scrambling to find a place to get my car towed too & worked on. I was incredibly pleased with the service we received at RD Sawyer. Tony was very helpful & quickly found the issue & got my car back to me within a few hours! He saved our vacation. Highly recommend this place for quick, friendly service!

Recently needed service late on a Friday afternoon. We were on vacation from Canada. All mechanics were tied up.But .. the service manager himself got to work and we were on our way in no time.Cannot thank RD Sawyer Ford and the service manager enough.Susan and Steve

We started using RD Sawyer for our car maintenance after Dock gave us an amazing deal on a used truck for our son. He just got his license and was excited for his new vehicle. They made sure to have the car detailed and washed up to the point that it looked brand new. Shortly after, we took our Subaru in for scheduled maintenance and to have a problem looked at. We ended up getting 4 new tires, the problem fixed, the oil and filter changed -- and we were sure when we got the bill, it would be far more than we had expected. Much to our surprise, the bill was lower than we expected. Has to ask them to run the math again! And the customer service we get from this crew is always friendly and helpful. They really go above and beyond for their customers here.

Some time ago we went to RD Sawyer in Manteo NC looking for vehicles. My wife decided on another brand, but when all else failed, I offered my support by fighting hard for the best possible deal. In the end I was not happy with the deal, but she got pretty much what she wanted. Eventually the focus shifted to my truck search, which ironically started right there in Manteo. I spent months at bigger dealerships, only to realize I should have stayed with the family environment, where good honest deals are made. I can't say enough good things about the people there. In the end I was treated with respect, and dignity, and got a great deal. No bait and switch, or any other games, just good honest people doing what they said they would do. If you are looking, start there, you will be glad you did.

RD Sawyer is a great place to shop for a new or used vehicle. They have that down home feel where they remember your name. Your not just a number with them. I will be back very soon for my next purchase. Jaurice is the nicest salesman. The entire process was the best experience I have had at a dealership.

We are from the Cincinnati area and we re on vacation in the Outer Banks when we experienced some problems with out F350. I called to see if it was possible to bring it in to have it looked at and Crystal told me to come in the next day at 1:00. From the time we walked in the door my wife and I have never experienced such a pleasant atmosphere in any car dealership. I have been a Ford owner since my first car at 16, I m 58 now needless to say we have had quite a few vehicles over the years.They did not find anything wrong with our truck and took the time to show us how to check our camper for issues. I can not explain the how friendly and the great experience we received here from a dealership where we don t even go to.Ford corporate offices should take notice of the customer service here and try to spread it to all of their dealerships.Our sincere thanks,The Stine family

My wife took her 2022 Ford Escape in for its oil and filter change and rotate tires check for severe brake noise. I have a 30 sec video of the noise that happens every day I found a TSB 23-2041 that has the proper way to repair the noise but I can't find anyone to help us

Doc and the gang did it again. This is the second truck purchased in the last 2 years. I left the dealership feeling great about my purchase. They have a way of making you feel like family. I like to keep my tax dollars local and will look to RD Sawyer for future purchases. Thank you again to Doc and his great staff.

This was my first visit to this dealership and I left with a very positive experience. The service department kept me informed on the status of the repairs and when I picked up my truck the mechanic that performed the services took the time to speak with me to ensure I fully understood some things about my truck. This was definitely one of the best experiences I've ever had obtaining service at a dealership. I recently relocated to this area and it's great to know I have a Ford dealership I trust and can depend on. I will be a returning customer.

I have owned three f-150s and it hasn't been until this third one that I have finally found a service shop that I am confident in taking my truck to. They are always good about keeping us informed through the process. They have found things that were actually recalls and fixed at no charge. Overall I have had nothing but positive experiences now with my third or fourth time taking a vehicle over there. To be clear not every visit over there has been for repairs some of it has just been oil changes, transmission flush typical truck maintenance. I'm not somebody who does a ton of reviews, but when somebody does an outstanding job I want the world to know so they can experience a good interaction. Vehicles can be a very personal thing and I think it helps to trust who you're taking it to and I trust RD Sawyer with my vehicle and will continue to use them as the only shop that I will take my vehicle to for now on. By the way the previous two f-150s I had problems with and was the reason that I got rid of them, because I never found a mechanic that ever completely fix the problem and one of which was a very nice truck and I had left it with a shop for 2 weeks and they still never corrected the problem. in retrospect I guarantee you had I had taken those vehicles to RD Sawyer they probably would have fixed them and they would have been fine! I think I have used a total of six or seven mechanics down here( I'm born and raised outer Banks) and of those I would easily rate RD Sawyer number one without any doubt in my mind!
