Car started making a weird sound one day before we were due to start our ten hour drive back home. Friendly neighbor was kind enough to take a look and suggest we hit a mechanic asap because there appeared to be an issue with our engine s belt. We were staying in nags head and tried finding a mechanic nearby, but everyone kept saying they couldn t help us. Expanded my search a bit and found Marshall! He answered promptly and after explaining the issue, said we could drive by to take a lookHe quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to secure the parts to fix the issue same day. While repairing, he found an issue with the water pump and fixed that too. Unbelievable he was able to fix everything on such short notice and we re super grateful for his work, honesty, and very fair pricing! Air conditioner is really working now thank you, Marshall for saving the day for us and helping us avoid a catastrophic engine failure!Don t hesitate to give Marshall a call if your car is having any issues - we ll be sure to swing by if we have issues next time we visit!

Here's another "Marshall Saved Our Vacation!" story. We arrived in OBX on Saturday. On Monday, the serpentine belt broke while we were driving and immediately the battery light came on and the car started to overheat. We found Marshall completely by accident, but we are so glad that we did! He had the issue diagnosed and fixed within 2 days. And our long drive back to Pittsburgh on Saturday was without incident. We highly recommend Marshall's Auto Repair!

Marshalls Auto Repair saved the day for us. The response time was extremely fast, and the owner is honest and knowledgeable. I really don't know how we got so lucky, but I can recommend this business with absolutely no hesitancy. A big thank you from a vacationing couple.

When leaving the Outer Banks, my car started leaking coolant and overheating. So I pulled over to the side of the road. I called Marshall and thankfully he was not too far away. He was able to drive out to my location and diagnose the problem right away. We then limped my car back to his shop and he was able to repair the issue with ease. He also found a small unrelated issue and quickly repaired that as well. I really appreciated his expertise and he was reasonably priced as well. (I ll also note while I was pulled over I had two separate people stop and ask if I needed help. When I told them I called Marshall they told me I had called the right guy.) Thanks again Marshall!

These folks saved us when our car broke down as we were leaving Nags Head.We called several car repair shops. They all said it would be days before they could fix our car.Marshall drove to the store, purchased the needed parts, and had our car working within an hour and a half. And he charged a very reasonable price for the service.I can't recommend him highly enough.

Marshall has not saved me once but three times. The second time was super human. He drove 80 miles twice, each way, to get my 5th wheel on the road.Would still be stuck there today if not for him. Can t thank him enough.

Marshall took time out of busy schedule to pull my truck and boat off the boat ramp when it wouldn't stsrt due to a starter issue. Honest, friendly, helpful...hard to come by these days...I know because I own an automotive business in Pa. I wouldn't hesitate to use Marshall's services in the future.

My check engine light came on on my way to Kill Devil Hill. I stopped at Auto Zone for diagnostic check where upon I was informed my #4 plug was misfiring & basically I needed tuneup. Staff recommended Marshall Auto Repair. Marshall found the problem which was #4 injector. He replaced injector & performed complete tuneup. I was beyond satisfied with the price & service!! We were referred to Marshall during our family trip to OBX after the check engine light in our vehicle turned on. He was responsive, knowledgeable, honest, and so fast. We appreciated that he drove an hour out of his way at the end of the day to help us, given that we were returning home in a couple of days. We can't recommend Marshall enough. Best mechanic I ve ever met. Our car stopped running on vacation. Marshall quickly diagnosed the problem, which was minor, and charged us a fair price. This issue had stumped our regular mechanic back home and now the car runs better than ever. I wish I could always take the car to Marshall! Great mechanic and honest guy, recommend his shop to everybody.

Great service, very inexpensive, and awesome human being! I'm from out of town. I had a check engine light on my Honda Odyssey. He did the diagnostic check on it, determined the problem, ordered the part for me at a local Autozone...price? $0...he didn't charge me anything! He said I could he easily change the part myself, but if I ran into problems, give him a call. I picked up the part, tried to change it myself but I didn't have the correct tools. I called him and he said, "bring it in". I rolled by his place...he changed it in less than 5 minutes...price? $15! Definitely recommend Marshall!!

I had engine trouble while on vacation in Nags Head. Marshall came to my location and quickly diagnosed the problem. The next morning he fixed the problem while I waited, showing me the broken parts and explaining what had happened. When he was done he charged a fair price.I absolutely recommend Marshall to anyone who needs a mechanic in the Outer Banks area!

If you re looking for fast, cheap, accurate vehicle repair that will come to you Marshall is definitely the way to go! We were on vacation with our 2 kids & the alternator went out in our minivan. A lady at the front desk of our hotel recommended Marshall to us. She said he d fixed her car & others that she knew of as well & told us that he was a great mechanic, honest & that he didn t gouge out of towners. It was very late on a Saturday night & his page said he was closed on Sunday. We were checking out & leaving for home on Monday. It didn t look good. I took a chance and texted him that night with a brief synopsis of our situation, hoping he might be willing to work on Sunday. This wonderful man had an estimate ready before I was even awake!! He was at our hotel an hour later & had the alternator switched out & our van back to perfect condition before noon! He fixed it onsite while we still enjoyed our vacation. He actually even checked out my sister in laws suv as well because her check engine light had been coming on & he didn t even charge us for that. His set up was AMAZING. He basically had a whole mobile garage with everything he could possibly need to fix a vehicle. The even better part is that he literally only charged us $144 plus a $75 Sunday road fee to come to us with his whole big rig, with the part we needed & fix our van quickly & perfectly. Obviously, we paid for the part which was a little over $300. Compared to some of the things I ve read about what other places here charge, that s very cheap. Especially considering we never had to leave the hotel. Other than being a great mechanic, he was just a great human being & the whole thing was so easy. The stress he relieved was well worth the money for sure. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Outstanding! Had a little trouble with our car while staying in Frisco, NC. He was able to get us scheduled quickly. He was timely, polite, and knowledgeable. Had to run down a small part and returned quickly. Fixed the problem on the drivers side and even checked the other side just to be sure that it was ok. Price was very reasonable for sure. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were leaving Kitty Hawk on Labor Day weekend when my CV Axle snapped in our 2017 Cadillac Escalade. We were 7 hours away from our automotive shop back home and had NO tools or a way back home. He came to us in a matter of minutes, fixed the CV axle and had us back on the road in an hour. Strongly recommend. 100% a life saver!
