On a spring break road trip our van broke down with electrical issues luckily right in front of Ryan s Auto Repair. Dave and Brayden were both busy at 4:30 or so, but even near closing time made us a priority (while still handling other vehicles). They got our van jumped, tested our battery and within minutes Dave had sourced the part. I had some friends caravanning with us so we ran to advanced auto parts who had the part ready and waiting with best regards for Dave. Upon our return Dave and Brayden had our alternator out already and recommended a quick bite while we wait the 20-30 minutes for them to do the install. We hopped over to Legends Bar and Grill to feed hungry kids and everything was delicious. All in all an unexpected experience, but we found a gem of an area of the country we had yet to visit. On our way back to Louisiana from our family trip our car broke down and we were freaked out as we did not know the area. Our other family members drove up the road and found Ryans. He was very busy and had lots of work but he was very understanding and helped us out anyways at a fair price. He stood back even after work hours to get the car fixed. We are very grateful of his professionalism and kindness.

While on an early anniversary trip, leaf watching along the Parkway, our alternator died. Through the help of our insurance company, we were able to call a wrecker service who towed us to Ryan's Auto Repair. The wrecker driver recommended Ryan's, stating he brings alot of vehicles to them. Even though it was very close to closing time, they were able to find an alternator locally.for us and get it installed. They were very professional and courteous, and charged us a very reasonable price. We were planning on having to stay the night there, but they soon had us back on the road. Thank you so much for helping us today, we are so grateful to you.

My family was traveling from out of town and we were stuck with a broken alternator and Ryan was the only one who was willing to help us out as others said they were weeks from helping us. He got us back and rolling in 2 hours and charged us very fairly! He and Brayden (and can t forget Bear the pup) were a Godsend and a blessing. Very nice, friendly, and professional. Go to him for all your mechanic needs, truly one of a kind. I wish I had him where I lived because there aren t many like him who are true to their craftsmanship and to their clientele

I would recommend Mr Ryan for your mechanic work, if in the area. He was super helpful and very friendly. We were traveling and had a sudden vehicle issue. Called Mr Ryan, and he told us to come right over. He helped us get going again. He was extremely fair on the charge. We were able to continue on our vacation. Thanks again Mr Ryan.

Ryan made time to replace all four brakes. Not only were the break pads severely worn, but other parts were frozen from rust. We were back on the road in just over 2 hours at a very reasonable price! Thank you Ryan.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Outstanding service stuck six hours from home NO one in the area could take it in and at best said two weeks. We had the rear seal go out on our 2008 Avalanche. Mr Ryan got the parts and worked on it for the next two days. He even sent his son To pick us up at the hotel. Fantastic job, excellent mechanic and above and beyond customer service.

We were in Maggie Valley on vacationMy brakes started scrubbing while we were there. Ryan was able to look at my truck that day which was great. My brakes totally went out as I pulled into his shop. He found a busted caliper on one side and replaced it and my pads while I waited. Thanks Ryan!Service: Brakes

I am from Indiana visiting the area with my wife and our front brakes went out. I called Ryans and they got me in immediately and replaced the brakes in about 50 minutes. Their attitudes and customer service is first class!!! I gave them a bonus because of them taking care of me so quickly. I wish their attitudes and customer service could be brought back to Indiana. :) I highly recommend them.Service: Brakes

I would highly recommend Ryan s Auto to anyone passing through Maggie Valley. Talk about service! They helped us fix our brakes while we were visiting on vacation and went above and beyond my expectations to complete the job quickly and efficiently. I needed my front main seal replaced on a Honda Accord, Ryan had it done by 10:30a.m. the next morning! Very pleased with the fair great price and such quick repair! Damn sure appreciate it!

I have taken all my vehicles there even my friends and families he is literally the only person in haywood county that I trust to work on my cars. He does work on newer vehicles but also on old stuff like my 1978 jeep cherokee that no one but him has been able to fix up to this point!
