I came to Pete Smith via a recommendation from another mechanic in the area named Corey's. I needed to get a diagnostic done because my car was leaking oil a little bit at a time. They took my car to be looked at and determined it would need to be looked at more in depth by their mechanics who are there during the week. ( I came on a Saturday). I was able to drop my car off on a Sunday afternoon via their drop box located at the rear of the shop, which was very convenient for me, being that I am close to an hour away. The next day, I received a call from the shop letting me know that I had other issues beyond an oil leak. They listed the things I needed to get done and provided an explanation as to why. They recommended their sister shop, Pete Smith Garage, and offered to get me pricing for parts and labor, which I agreed to. I was able to call and schedule my appointment and look forward to working to get my repairs done. The staff was easy to work with and nice to me, which was also very important to me.

I have had inspections, tire installations, and oil changes performed here over the last 3 years. I am always impressed with the honesty, professionalism, and level of work offered. I don't go anywhere else. I need my vehicles to run/ride right. Also buy some of the BBQ sauce that they sell at the counter. Pretty dang good. ;)

The employees are friendly and helpful. I was in and out in record time for an oil change, and their prices are very reasonable. Even my Service Dog had a good time!

Very nice friendly staff (John) was my service contact. He kept me informed on the status of my vehicle. They got me in for service quickly and diagnosed my problem. The service charge was fair and I am completely satisfied with the work done there. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Pete Smith Tire & Quick Lube.

I have been taking my cars to Pete Smith's for easy twenty years. They are the most honest and trustworthy auto shops on this planet. Recently I took my daughter's car to them in Louisburg. I have been taking her car there for the past six years too. She carried it to them to find out why there is no heat. We thought maybe she needed a thermostat. Several hours later they called to say the car was ready. They checked out the car and charged her $12.00. Only thing WRONG was the heater needed to be turned up. Now, I ask you are they Honest or what? They could have taken her for a lot of money.

They also have a wonderful location in Rolesville,N.C.They will treat your vehicle, like it's their own. Providing excellent customer service is their #1 goal.They have many, long-term experiences, in various parts of the ever-changing automotive industry.Willingness to refer you to trusted alternative locations, if needed,is in their kind nature. Providing N.C. Inspections, tires, tune-up,brake pads & rotors, battery installations,are also part of their regular work day,at this high-tech; very clean establishment.I trust them with all my vehicles.The relaxed Lobby is great! Very safe,even for preciously small children.I know the family, their business is honorable & family owned. Please visit them soon & continue to drive safely....

Always good service. Fixed a tractor tire for me (with a huge hole) but had to bring it back for an inner tube. Works great a few weeks later now. (I also patched the outside to keep mud out of the hole, and everything is holding just great.)They've done my truck tires and always done a good job. Definitely recommend these guys.

I purchased a vehicle on 12/04/21 from Pete Smith auto sales. Gary and Mike were the sales representative there at the time. I test drove the vehicle early that morning and worked out a deal with Gary to purchase the vehicle for $24k. Now fast forward a week and now that I had a little more time to go over the car, I found a few small things that were not right with the car. $15-20 here and there to fix the flashing daytime running lights, slow air leak in a brand new tire, and no spare tire jack or lug nut wrench. Now I found out the the AC was not truly working when I purchased the car. I bought a recharge kit and it leaked out. Also that Pete Smith auto repair shop put new tires on and didn't use the correct wheel lock on the car and messed up some of the lug nuts and left one completely off in the center console. After relaying the AC and lug nut problem the Gary and Mike at Pete Smith auto sales, I was told to make an appointment with Pete Smith auto repair shop and have it looked at and if it was just charging the system or replacing an o ring it would be taken care of by them. If it was replacing a compressor or another part they would cover half. Now after wait 4 hours at Pete Smith auto repair and one AC recharge and o ring. They refuse to cover it. Told me that after car is sold they can't do anything. Gary was very rude over the phone and Mike went back on his word. I had to pay $100 for a charge and a o ring. At Pete Smith auto repair I spoke with Greg Smith about the messed up lug nut and was told they didn't use the correct key to get them of and was told that Gary told him not to put anything in writing for me. I would highly recommend not using Pete Smith auto sales or Pete Smith auto repair in Louisburg. Gary and Mike are shady car salesmen at shady Pete Smith auto sales. Do not buy or have your car repaired with them.Service: A/C installation & repair

Have always had oil changes done here. Last one done on my Grand Cherokee they kept pulling in other vehicles in front of me. After 4 hours of waiting and right before they closed they got me back. About a month after this my jeep started having issues. It sat a few weeks before we got it to our mechanic and the engine code shows incorrect oil detection. I called Pete Smith and spoke with Chris the manager and he informed me not only did Pete Smith say he would not pay to make this right, they would not fix it wither that it was on us. He then rudely stated that we were just exchanging words and hung up. I love to support local but if this is how a local business man treats loyal customers, he will never get another penny of my money. Bad business.

The Louisburg Pete Smith has a very nice lounge area for the customers to hang out and wait for their vehicles. The staff is very courteous knowledgeable and friendly. I will be coming back to have them change my oil again and do other service work for me as opposed to the dealer. Very happy with their service.

My driver's side door handle fell off and they were able to fix it in two days. They overnighted the part so I didn't have to be without my car for as long. My car is essential to my job, so this saved me some serious stress. They quoted me a price, which I agreed to, and then it turned out they were able to do it for cheaper. I'm impressed that they lowered the price, because I'd already agreed to the higher price. They have earned my trust, and I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for speed of service and an honest mechanic.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very disappointed! Do not understand why we waited for over an hour to get an oil change. We noticed they kept taking back cars that came in after us.Even some cars that were dropped off to be worked on were taken ahead of us. Got here at 9:45 and was told there would be a 30-45 minute wait. 2 hours later I am still sitting in the lobby because they performed extra services I did not ask for. Would not recommend. Third time this has happened.

Although I've been several times before, I was really impressed with today's service. From the clerk telling me when to come back for a quicker service to taking time with my 4 yr old son to explain some of the "coolness" of the shop.

Excellent customer service. Very friendly and helpful. Juan changed my tires and did a great job, without any scratches or flaws on my wheels. I'm very particular about my car and they an amazing job. I don't stress when I take my car here because I know they care customer satisfaction.

I needed a oil change, a tire rotation, and an inspection. These folks were very good and professional. I do have to get 2 new tires later on but the work was good. I'm very pleased with their work. I will be going back to finish the tires later on. Thanks you guys.

Nice hometown feel and an awesome group of mechanics! Thank you Josh for always taking care of us!! I recently went in for my normal oil change and tire rotation.. I had no clue that my tires were in as bad of shape as they were but Josh made us aware. I feel like I'm always taken care of and they truly care about me as a person. Great place with exceptional people.

Wes, John, and Chris are very knowledgeable mechanics at this shop. I've been working with them since my move to NC from MARYLAND in 2015. A tad higher than most, but I see value in the integrity of their workmanship and its consistency.

Have taken my truck here a couple times now since moving to the Louisburg area. Had brakes, oil changes, tires, alignments done. They do great work and go the extra mile to make sure you get what you want. I have worked with both Chris and John and can say they will do what it takes to make you happy. I would highly recommend considering these guys for taking care of your vehicle.

Wes got my daughters car in for an oil change on a walk-in basis and it didn t take long at all. Wes talked to me like a best friend and loves Louisburg College sports. My daughter plays softball at Louisburg and Wes said he follows them and their stats, and he d be looking for my daughter. He s an awesome man, thanks Wes!
