I had a Toyota dealership blow up my rear differential trying to diagnose a bad bearing in my front differential. Thomas was super helpful and is super knowledgeable about their products. I was able to replace the bearings to fix my front diff and bought an assembled third member from them. I m glad I did, they have the product knowledge and innovations like the clamshell bushing.Thanks so much guys! Customer service is top notch.

I own a 2000 model TJ. Several years ago my rear end totally went out and upon recommendation I took it to East Coast gear supply for repair. They did a remarkable job. I got the 8.8 Ford rear end installation that East Coast Gear specialize in and my Jeep has been very healthy and strong and it was a great decision going with them. I recommend them to any one requiring repair upgrades to their drivetrain, especially for four-wheel-drive. These are serious minded people.

Simply the BEST! Better than all the rest!!! I've always wanted to add lockers in my 2nd Gen Tacoma.I was stuck with the conundrum of:- Adding a rear locker? Well, then I should do a re-gear at the same time.- If I re-gear, then I need to do both diffs.- If I'm doing both diffs., I may as well throw a locker in the front, too.It's a costly upgrade and not an easy impulse choice for someone ballin' on a budget, like me.A recent wheeling trip made the decision for me when I blew out the spider gears in the rear. There was a (semi) local company to me here in Washington State that used to have a pretty stellar reputation with gears, diffs. and locker setups but they were "acquired" by a larger conglomerate corp. and their service/support has declined dramatically in recent years. Not gonna mention names, but IYKYK.I've always heard great things about ECGS and had been running their solid bushing in my front diff. for over a decade; they know what they're doing, they do all the "hard" work for you with ready-to-go 3rd Members and clamshells diffs in nearly ANY configuration you could want. Surprisingly, their pricing is very competitive, especially in a post-COVID world of crazy price markups, supply chain issues/excuses - they continue to offer excellent pricing and outstanding support, warranty and customer service.When I was ready to purchase the setup I decided on, I worked with Will in their Sales and Tech dept. and he was amazing! Dude knows his stuff - he educated me on the benefits/advantages and what style locker and gear sets I would need. He was super personable and relatable and provided excellent tech articles and resources to assist me with doing the installation myself, along with some great tips to clean out the axle tube to ensure all the metal chunks were clear before installing the rear diff. (5 cans of brake clean with "toilet brush in a drill" trick worked GREAT, by the way - thanks Will!).The whole team is extremely competent and capable, and Will has been super responsive with me; always taking the time to reply to the random questions, requests, or updates I had along the way, and their after-sales support has been outstanding.ECGS was quick to prepare the new diffs. and get those shipped and provided prepaid shipping labels to get the cores back to them. Fool-proof and easy as can be. I would 110% recommend or refer them to ANYONE who needs ANYTHING related to gears, differentials, lockers, parts/service/technical support. They've gained a customer for life and I can't thank Will and Team enough for making a typically stressful and costly experience into something very easy and streamlined for me - plus I will have a much more capable and reliable Taco for many years to come.Cheers to you, Will, Chase and the whole ECGS Team!

Absolutely phenomenal gear supply and install. Upgraded to 5.13s, had me in and out in 6 hours.I installed a driveshaft with a loose (unknowingly) yoke after gearing and chipped my rear set. They had me back on the road the next evening and worked with me on cost as it was at my fault.Top notch!

Worked with Will on ordering a complete bolt in Dana 60 rear axle for my Jeep TJ. He was great to work with and fully understood exactly what I was looking for. Order process was extremely easy. Couple of months later the build started and Nolan contacted me to verify payment. I received the axle and their crating is amazing!!! I thought it was going to show up on a pallet, but it is in a well designed crate, fully secure and in perfect condition. Installed the axle and every detail I went over with Will on what I needed was as expected. I am about half way through the break in of the axle and it is running great!!!! The overall experience was outstanding!!!!!! Thank you!

They are great, went out of their way to get me back on the road. I went to junk yards, auto parts stores and the dealer and no one could help me find the seal for the flang pionion(vary rare) on a 2002 s10 but they were easily able to find it. I m glad I drove 1hr30mins to them. Steven was my sales rep and he was wonderful can say how grateful I am. Thanks again.

Sent them a whining diff for a rebuild. Good work, fair price. The part that made it worth my time to come write this review was just how good the customer service was. Never would have expected such thoughtful, attentive service, especially considering I was probably one of the lowest spending customers they have.

Purchased a complete Yukon regear kit for my xj that it desperately needed. Lined up the appt with the shop a week out and had a lot of time to think, why not upgrade everything at once while it s all apart. So called there sales line and got Thomas on the phone. He was excellent. Had answers to every question I had and even solved problems before they became problems. Helped me find a solution to uograde my Chrysler 8.25 to 29 spline by upgrading to a power trax pro grip. Decided to go ahead and give him all my business and ordered chromoly axles for the front and rear, a disc brake conversion kit for the rear, Yukon diff cover, power trax pro grip for the front axle and axle bearing and seals for the rear. Extremely happy with the customer service and support.

Needed a rebuilt third member for my 2000 4Runner (4.10 Gear Ratio). The issue was loud bearing noise when accelerating. Brandon in the sales department was excellent. He properly advised me, helped with the order, and got me the new part to my door within a few weeks. Issue resolved despite sore muscles from replacing it by myself. Thanks ECGS! I wish they sent me a sticker for my window!

Blown away us an understatement. Chase and Will have totally exceeded my expectations. I drove from Md to have my Tacoma re-geared and it was worth every mile. While I don't have direct experience with the ECGS shop, their online sales system is great. I purchased a rebuilt 3rd member for a 2000 4Runner and it arrived quickly and without issue. ECGS processed my core return quickly and efficiently. I hope I don't have to order from them again, but if I do, I will not hesitate!

Absolutely fantastic people to deal with. I've been purchasing from ECGS for years now not only for myself but for my customers. I've had one or two occasions of some small "issues" with parts that were quickly solved with one phone call. None of which were ever really ECGS's fault or a "in-house" product. The parts are fair priced and ship out in a very timely matter with tracking numbers to follow. The customer service is superior, you can call and talk to a real knowledgeable person who shares the same passion we do. The website is extremely easy to use. Great, Honest company that will forever have my business and recommendation.

5 out 5 starts for these guys!I ordered the bushing for my Tacoma with a removal tool.The job turned into a bit of a process and I ended duo breaking the removal tool along the way on my own doing, I reached out to ECGS for some clarification on what I may have done wrong.Jon got back to me and gave me some information and also sent me a replacement piece for the tool so I could get my old needle bearing out. The replacement got here the next day and I'm in Canada!Thanks for going above and beyond! I hope I don't need another bushing anytime soon but I really appreciate the service.

My 1st time going to East Cost Gear Supply. I called and over the phone they Diagnosed it Told me they can't be for sure until they open it up. I set up an appointment at my truck towed my truck in Tuesday night. They said they would give me a call Wednesday. At 2 o'clock. They called me my truck was done it was exactly the price they quoted me over the phone they found nothing else wrong, in my 49 years I've been on this earth I have never dealt with a Moore professional company then east coast. If you need a rear end call East Coast. John helped me very professional on point and I highly highly recommend going to east coast gear supply. That's if you want peace of mind and you don't want to worry about if they're going take advantage of you because they are not out of 5 stars I give them 100 hands down to EAST COAST GEAR SUPPLY AND John WAS GREAT TO DEAL WITH.

ECGS recently swapped out the gears on my 09 FJ Cruiser. I have a 3 inch lift, with the body mount chop, 3/4 inch Bora wheel spacers, stock rims with new BF Goodrich KO2 tires, 285/75R17, 34 inch. After getting the tires installed it felt like I lost allot of power, and it was downshifting all the time. They started the job on Wednesday morning and we're finished by 1:00pm. It runs really really great now! After I was home for a week I realized that I had a leek in the rear differential. I called ECGS and they set me up with a local shop here in Maryland "World Tour off road" to do replace the gasket. World Tour informed me that one of my boots on my front driver side axle was ripped. They called ECGS and asked about it and ECGS sent me a used but good axle! So ECGS paid for the gasket replacement and a used but good axle even though we really can't prove they did it! Exceptional service! The really stand by there work. I would highly recommend ECGS for a gear swap!

Long story short, I had the rear diff on my FJ ( upgraded to replacement from them last year) fail 12 hours away from home. Gave them a call, spoke with a gentleman named Brandon and explained the situation. He got the process started and had a freshly built warranty replacement diff on its way in 2 days. The quality of their differentials, warranty and customer service are beyond what I've ever experienced. I could not be happier with their customer service and products.

Next level customer service. Drove down and spent a couple days in Wake Forest while these guys did the Re-gear in my FJ. Glad I made the trip. Jon knows his stuff and made sure I had a good experience. FJ drives amazing with the 4:56 setup. They have dogs to pet too.

Wow, a shout out to Stephen and his patience with customer service. Our customer had a 06 4runner with a drivers front axle excessive play and research shows a common problem with the internal needle bearing failure. I was led to this company via a forum and found they make a tool and an updated replacement bushing to replace the problematic needle bearing design. Stephen walked me though the issue and after my customer approved the repair, I requested overnight and it came next day and we were able to have it installed. They also had a YT video to help with installation.

I have a '19 4Runner that had the needle bearing failure twice. 1st time, I got a new carrier assembly from Toyota. 2nd time, I drove down here from Pennsylvania to have ECGS install their clamshell bushing. This has completely eliminated the associated problems with the needle bearing and it was WORTH IT. I spoke with Brandon on the phone and in person and he was very pleasant, I was very pleased with his customer service. This is a great company. You won't be dissatisfied.
