My best friend got his car damage by this place and Ricky Day was supposed to contact him and he never did. Now my friend's Jeep Compass has two marks on each side of the his car and no one is taking responsibility for it. Plus does the IRS know this company only accepts cash. In today's economy why isn't there a check and balance for a cash only company. And they went through his car and moved things from the trunk to the front seat.

I read so many bad reviews about this place and was very nervous about going being that the randolph county police illegally seized my Husband's truck when someone else had a probation officer come in there home and his truck was locked in a private driveway not even being drove. Needless to say the bill to get his truck our is almost $1,000 dollars that we Def don't have :( but Getting our property out of the truck going into the situation thinking that everything was going to be stolen and absolutely nothing was touched. I was very appreciative of the respect and good showmanship from the company! They are just doing there jobs if they can't help you help your car out. I have nothing but great things to say about this business. The car was seized when our son got arrested for fleeing. The car is in our names. We went through the proper channels & were able to get the car today. Absolutely zero issues with any of the staff. The car was in the exact same condition as when it was seized. Nothing missing & no additional damage. Everyone we spoke to on the phone & in person at ME & Associates were extremely helpful & friendly.

To already be in the situation of losing a vehicle is bad. To have a grown man cussing and yelling in my face because I asked questions about what property I am allowed to take from MY vehicle is unacceptable. I was perfectly respectful. How do they even have a license to operate?

Very bad place and rude and they steal your money and if you go there without appt they will charge you 40 $Slow process to get your car back hopefully never see him again

My car was there for a few months, I finally get it out...And the whole car was FLOODED with water. Mind you I paid over 3000$ to get it out!! Trunk was flooded, everything I had in my car had mildew on it. It stunk so bad cause the water was sitting in my trunk and my car for weeks!! When I asked them what happened to the car they said they don t know!!!!! My car is basically totaled now. I just paid so much to get it out. I don t know what to do now I m lost for words. I m crying writing this.The worst experience of my life. Please get your car out ASAP. NOW

Rude folk likely with preconceived notions about those who come into the establishment. I walked in for my 1100 appointment- on time. I see three faces in plain sight - all of those faces could see mine. One, a guy wearing a black cap, looked directly at me. The other two women, one carrying on a full blown conversation and the one who answers the phone the most, won't look to the glass where you stand so they don't have to address you. Then another walks out from the back with her lil turquoise outfit on and her face all twisted looking straight ahead. I guess my son and I were invisible to her, too. I wasn't invisible when the time came for them to collect that $780. This is big business. Unfortunately, if a police seizes your property where you weren't the driver and it is towed to this place, get it back as quickly as possible. Don't expect anything that mirrors customer service when you go, though.

They steal your property out of your vehicle saying it was locked the entire time but the tow service (Earl's towing service) said the same thing "your vehicle was lock the entire time". So in my words they both have bad service. Stealing will get you nowhere.

My beautiful 2019 challenger was sooo dirty, it wouldn t start, missing parts out of the hood, window was left open. They didn t even tell me what happened. Just took my money and threw me the car. If you have a nice car here that you care about please get it out ASAP.

Went to reclaim someone else's business vehicle Friday afternoon and we called ahead. They told us to take a different exit that was 13 miles down the road. After looking at my GPS, I discovered they were lying about saying the other exit was closer. If we had taken their directions, the place would have been closed by the time we got there. They also said the day before that they closed at 5 pm. When we called ahead, they said they were closing at 4. By that time, it was 3:15 and we were 20 minutes away. That's when they advised us to take the different route, which we ignored. We get there and the guy spent 20 minutes just looking over the approved petition to get the vehicle back trying to find something wrong with it and got an attitude when he realized it was legit. It was after 4:30 pm by the time we got the vehicle back. If we had listened to their directions on the phone when we called that afternoon, we would have driven 200+ miles just to have them lock the doors on us.

I've had nothing but good experiences here, the staff is friendly and accommodating. The auction items always depend on who was dumb enough to drive drunk or not pay their taxes so it's not their fault which cars are being auctioned on any given month. That may also explain some of the sour grapes in other reviews

Cheap cars and trucks. But as with any used car buyers beware. Clean facility. Easy access to claim vehicles. Not only do they do cars and trucks but also atvs and motorcycles I even saw a boat being picked up.

I have purchased a few cars from here in the past, I still have them, my friend has purchased many cars from here, for family members, they drove them, until they couldn't no more.The way we look at it is, they were running when they were seized, they may need minor repairs, I've had to replace alternators, batteries, headliners, n on one vehicle a water pump, before I was riding.

You can get a GREAT deal on a vehicle here if you can fight the urge to get in a bidding war. Be on time, and Don't drive a fancy car there, because the parking lot is basically a mud bog. That's the only reason they aren't 5 stars.

Cars are usually parts cars and the cars that are in better shape go for more than you could get them at a dealer. It's very dusty unless it rained, then it's muddy. So, wear proper shoes. There isn't much shade so when it's hot it's HOT. There is a hotdog stand that serves hotdogs, chips, drinks and candy.

If I could give a NEGATIVE I would! They are totatally unprofessional, and are SCAMMING people out of their MONEY and their CARS!!!!! THAT WE WORKED good and HARD FOR!!!! This place needs to be auctioned to shut down! This whole company is FRAUD AND NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT TO SOMEONES ATTENTION! They were just on the news last year for STEALING CARS & not following the LAW.

I ve never had a bad experience dealing with MEA. Many of the negative comments I have read are dealing with government rules that MEA has no control of. The staff has always treated me with respect. I would recommend MEA s services to any of my peers and colleagues.

I went to clean out my car and something my son made me was gone someone stole something's out of my car what can I do about it that was the second time the first time the car had been flooded and all my kids' clothes and all his belongings were molded they just throw the cars out back they don't care run through the windows are up or what you got in them they just do their thing make all that money for not taking care of your car and stealing stuff out of it my son made me a dog and a car parts springs and all kinds of stuff he even painted it for me and been begging me for months to go get it out of that car and I go and it ain't even in the car

Rude associates. Personnel gives out false information/incorrect quotes. Policy is a scam out of your hard earned money. No accountability.

POOR SERVICE, RECEPTIONIST HATES HER JOB, AM A CAR DEALER IN RALEIGH ONE OF MY CARS WAS TOWED HERE AND THEY MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IT BACK.. MANAGER WAS DRESSED LIKE A HOODLUM!
