Eric was a pleasure to work with. His communication, knowledge, timeliness, expectation setting and execution of service are all top notch. He is an excellent communicator and explained what was going on with the car and why. He was clear to point out what else could be an issue when he got into the job and set expectations for what the cost could be for a common additional problem. He delivered on time and on budget. The additional problem that he prepared me for was not present. There were no surprises. He pointed out things that will need to be addressed in the future in a plain, simple and stress free manner. My experience with Doctor Bimmer for repairs on our 435i BMW was fantastic. I will take my BMW to him for all future repairs.

Eric is by far the most knowledgeable BMW mechanic in the area I currently own multiple high end cars and he is my go to guy for all my work. His prices are fair and his work is impeccable!!!

Brought my new to me F31 BMW to Eric for a general inspection and service recommendations. He was very knowledgeable about what the car needed and didn t try to push unnecessary services. Will gladly be taking my car to him for future service.

Eric is both a excellent mechanic and a good guy. He gives exceptional service at a reasonable price. I always heard BMW service work was very expensive. That is not the case with Doctor Bimmer. Eric does FANTASTIC work! He works on my BMW X3. Unlike most mechanics I ve dealt with in the past, Eric is actually honest about what s needed and what isn t. You won t waste money. His work is high quality and very detailed. And I love that he tries to educate you on your vehicle so that YOU can make the determination on if/when work is needed. I left my previous mechanic and only use Eric now!

Eric has been more then fair in his pricing and has given great service. He is honest in his evaluation of the cars we take to him. Once we believed one of our vehicles needed a whole new car battery. After he looked at the car, he said no need for a whole new battery and fixed the minor problem. It is a drive to his place however you will save money and have peace of mind!

Eric did a great job replacing the brakes on our BMW. We really appreciate a more convenient & trustworthy alternative to taking our car one of the big dealerships, who you never know who you're going to get working on your car. If you are looking for the best and most honest mechanic look no farther. Eric did great work on my BMW that had a good amount of problems and he did it at a far cheaper price than I had expected. Not to mention the turn around time was unbelievable, he had the car back to me within 2 days fully fixed. Eric is now my go to mechanic for life. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get work done on their car.

Eric is wonderful to work with! He diagnosed the problem with our old high-mileage Prius' battery and facilitated our getting a great reconditioned replacement for a fraction of the dealer's quote. He then helped us find the problem in our Chevy Volt's gas engine and replaced the spark plugs and both cars are running great! He is very responsive via texts and calls and is very knowledgeable and helpful even on the weekend. We are very satisfied and will definitely call on him again. I was using another shop for my BMW 650i but I decided to try Eric since he was closer to my house. Eric s attention to detail and quality of work convinced me to leave the other shop and only use Eric! You can ask questions (and I m a huge question asker) and he will be patient with you until you have a clear understanding of what s going on. He ll even provide the older part as proof that he actually did the work (not needed but it shows his honesty). His prices aren t insane either which is always a plus in my book. Not many mechanics out there like him these days unfortunately. I d say don t think twice about using him, just use him! I called Eric for some advice about my X3. He was very knowledgeable and was able to help me decide what repairs I needed. He did my repair for about 2k less then the dealership would have charged me. He explained everything to me and he is very responsive when you have questions. I will have Doctor Bimmer do every repair my BMW needs in the future!

Eric definitely knows BMW s. If you need your Bimmer serviced, do yourself a favor and take your car to Eric. I have a little further drive to get to Eric but it s definitely worth it. Eric has served our families BMW service needs for years. I cannot give him a high enough rating. He deserves 10 stars instead of 5! We bought a second BMW because we knew we had an awesome mechanic for maintenance. Eric knows BMW and is always honest, helpful and willing to share his knowledge. He doesn't do work that doesn't need to be done. The work he does is done right and his rates are fair. We know we can rely on him and we can trust him.

Eric has been my go-to mechanic for years prior to his current shop. He serviced my Volvo and my Audi, and I trust his work. But what surprised me at my last visit was that he offered change the hybrid battery in my Lexus! He's been doing battery replacements on Prius' for a while, and my Lexus has a similar design. Eric is very versatile and talented. And to keep it BMW related, he also serviced my 325Ci since I bought it used back in 2017.

Eric performed a pre-buy inspection and made me a list of issues or needed repairs. I purchased the vehicle and based on my experience with the inspection and reference from a friend went back to Eric. Eric detailed his work, parts and labor cost. The work was completed in timely manner and professionally. There were no surprises and the quoted price was met. Eric also researched the work and also stated there was some work he would not perform as it was not in his strengths or comfort zone. I will use Eric - Doctor Bimmer again and highly recommend. Eric has been the only mechanic to work on my BMW since I purchased it about 3 years ago. From oil changes to larger repairs I refuse to go anywhere else because I know no other mechanic will match his passion, knowledge and quickness. He makes sure to give prompt updates during the repair process and will even go out of his way to help when my car needs any sort of repair, even picking the car up himself so I do not have to wait at the shop during the repairs - which is extremely helpful because everyone knows life is already hectic enough without car issues. If you have a BMW, car repairs will automatically be more costly than one would like but Eric has built an impressive network among BMW enthusiasts and can work within his network to find parts. Car trouble is never easy, but Eric makes the process as smooth as possible every time. I would not hesitate to reach out to him for anyone with a BMW or anyone even looking to buy, you will save yourself A LOT of headache.

I highly recommend bringing your car to the Dr. As a BMW owner, I expect service and maintenance to be expensive. He performs these things at a significant savings over going to the dealership. He is an expert that does quality work. After taking care of your vehicle problems, you are always shown the old parts and given a walkthrough of the repairs. He recommends service needed to keep your car running smoothly and always gives you the cost upfront, no surprises. I am delighted to have found Eric, who works as Doctor Hybrid as well as Doctor Bimmer. He recently performed a head gasket replacement on my 2010 Toyota Prius. Eric is a knowledgeable, skilled, fair and pleasant resource that we're lucky to have in the greater Charlotte area. My Prius has served me without trouble for 220k+ miles, but recently knocking and shakes on cold start (and a check engine light and P0301 - cylinder 1 misfire code) prompted me to Google for the likely problem. Luckily, I did not drive the car more than a time or two after these noisy startups, as prolonged use after the head gasket begins to leak can wreak havoc. I learned that the cause of the symptoms was a leaking head gasket largely from an online video or two - and because I noticed the coolant level had dropped slightly for the first time. Head gasket replacement on a Prius is fairly complex, in that *many* components, hoses, wiring harnesses, etc. must be removed and capably replaced to successfully complete the job without causing other issues. Also, while the head gasket replacement is being done, additional services should be performed - including flushing the engine and cleaning the EGR system. I knew I wanted to have the job done by someone with specific experience replacing Prius head gaskets properly, who would do so competently without charging outrageous dealer rates. Finding Eric was not easy. The one resource I found was in California. Ultimately, I got a recommendation from them - for Doctor Hybrid (aka Doctor Bimmer... Eric). Eric returned my Prius to good running condition and I anticipate many more efficient miles from it. If/when I need additional work done on it (or my other vehicles), I plan to return to him.Service: Engine repair
