Shop is like a museum full of bikes of every stripe. They got something for everybody. Grabbed a fabulous Honda VT 1100. Glad I found this place.Update: Added some personal flavor and called it Peaches! Still riding strong!!

Couldn't be happier with the sales and service I received these guys really make you feel like family. Will definitely be back.i bought the 2010 Kawasaki z1000Edit: I took my bike to have a few things looked and and a few things added. Needless to say the service is just as good as the sales. These guys know their stuff inside and out. This is a one stop shop with some of the best sales and service I have ever experienced in my 32 years of living. Communication is on point. Pricing is on point. Workmanship is on point. I can't say enough good things about this place. Glad I have found my new home.

These guys are real professionals! I just bought my first bike ('12 zx6r) from Steve and he was very informative and willing to take time to answer all of my silly first-time rider questions. The rest of the staff was very courteous, helpful, and quick to help me with anything I needed. After visiting a few other local dealerships and getting pretty terrible customer service, it was a breath of fresh air from the moment I entered Garwood's shop! It was very clean, organized, and fully stocked with absolutely BEAUTIFUL motorcycles front to back!!! I immediately knew I was going to do business with them.I test rode my bike around the parking lot at the shop before deciding not to attempt to ride home. Steve and his guys were quick to offer to have my bike delivered to my house about 15 minutes away from his shop so that I wouldn't feel pressured to ride off the lot without any experience.They recommended and sold me great starting gear to ride in, and helped me get fitted for gloves and a helmet. I'm excited to be able to experience the motorcycle lifestyle for myself, and if you are thinking about buying your first bike, or just adding another bike to your growing collection, you'll be in great hands with Steve Garwood and the staff at Steve Garwood Motorsports in Lexington, NC.- Chris B.

What an amazing crew! Steve and Andy know there stuff when it comes to buying and selling bikes and ATVs. Don't get me started on the custom work they do. In shop they had a great selection at great prices. I would happily shop here.

Amazing staff 100% bought the Gsxr 1000. Every staff member was very nice and welcoming and knowledgeable on bikes and many other things that go along with the purchasing phase! My husband loves his bike. Thanks Steve and the rest of the staff here!

There is so many positives, I dont know where to start! THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I was looking for My 4 year old grandson his very first dirt bike. (He turns 4 this month) Steve was amazing. He answered all my questions. And really went over ever inch of the bike to make there would be no issues once I took it home. He went above and beyond what he had to do! .I absolutely WILL only invest in all my biking needs from SGM Steve and the SGM team thank you sooooo much for making this experience a pleasant one. I could ask for anything more! TRULY AMAZING!!!!!!!

This is the place to have your Bike worked on. They are honest, upfront, and stand behind their work and their word. They made all repairs to my bike at price with no surprise costs and in half the time they quoted me. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and treat you like a friend. 5 stars all around and I will definitely be back for anything I need for my Bike. Mike Y.

I experienced great customer service with Steve and his staff. I got some extra work done to my bike after purchasing it from Steve. The turn around time was amazing. I was expecting to get my bike back this upcoming weekend and I got it back on Tuesday. Steve and his staff made it a priority. Thanks to Steve and and staff.

I don t know where to start other than to say this was by FAR THE BEST EXPERIENCE I m one of those buyers with lots of questions Mr Steve answered every single question with pleasantry!! He explained everything sent pictures and videos!!:Communication is everything right!! SGM was it!! Upon making the drive to SGM I was met by an entire team that was friendly and inviting. They were welcoming and even offered insight on riding.I absolutely WILL only invest in bikes from SGM :Mr Steve and the SGM team thank you sooooo much for making this experience a pleasant and exciting one.:I m riding off in an 06 gsxr 750!

These guys are fantastic, made my first motorcycle purchase a breeze. very nice and friendly and when i got my bike, they filled the tank and gave me a free tshirt. also they have some doggos to hangout with if you are gonna be there for a bit. bike was in very good condition and no markups. overall great experience, if you want a bike in their inventory i implore you to check em out!

Great experience working with Steve and his team. They did a great job with my M109r boss. The thing that set them apart was the great customer service I received. They had no issue taking hours out of their day to communicate with me about all the details to ensure I had a peace of mind throughout the whole process. Best bike shop around with a great selection i drove 2 hours to pick up my bike worth every second of that drive, the selection was awesome and great looking bikes, steve and the staff where great helping with my purchase, 10/10 recommend and will be a loyal costumer for years to come.

Even before I bought a bike for them they were kind enough to help me when my battery died and fuse burnt out. I was in the area and they got me on my way when I was stranded. Steve is a good person all around and I'm definitely gonna be going there for all my motorcycle needs.Also later on I bought an MT-07 from Steve and man I am having a blast on it. Completely fair price and I have zero complaints with everything. Thanks again Steve!

I would highly recommend anyone stay clear of this establishment. I bought a motorcycle that they had only had for a couple of days. You can tell they shine it up to try and make the bike look better. Tan out of gas 6 miles away so they left me with an empty tank. My first actual day of taking it out for a ride the chain broke and cracked my engine case. One of the fairing was cracked in half but you could tell with it mounted on the bike behind the stunt cage it came with. The bike sometimes would start and sometimes wouldn t, you have to mess with the clutch and some wires. Also the bike wouldn t pass inspection. The key is extremely bent. This business clearly didn t overlook the bike. My personal opinion is that they saw how the bike looked and knew it would sell quick but they didn t bother making sure it was thoroughly checked. They told me all they did was ride it up the street and back. Cute. We have now had to buy a new engine, pay costs to have it swapped, and have electrical work done. They are a very cocky group and try too hard to sell you their products when you keep making clear you don t need or want expensive stuff. They haven t tried one bit to help with any of this, and what s worse is that we did a partial trade with a 4 wheeler that had absolutely nothing wrong with it. This bike was sold for 7000$ to us. We ve spoken to 6 motorcycle shops and dealers in the area about Garwood and no one has heard good things, as well as speaking to both family and people in riding groups. Garwood seems to have a bad reputation off of google and Facebook reviews. I m being responsible and warning people to avoid giving them your business. The entire sale was not pleasant, but I ultimately wanted this specific bike before I knew it was a lemon so to speak. If anyone cares to know about their reputation I can provide shops or other dealers info to hear more about. I don t know how these guys sleep at night. My girlfriend and I are still debating if we want to take the time and energy to file with the BBB, but we re doing our part and giving warning to potential customers of interest.

Great experience overall the staff was and is extremely helpful!!! I even got to converse with the owner and he was very very helpful. With purchasing my 1st bike this store made me feel welcomed and informed. Fairly priced and very diverse as to the selection of bike wether standard or custom!!!! Clean, friendly, and inviting environment honestly. Found them though a facebook ad and I m glad I took the trip to come here! I ll definitely be coming back

It s hard to find a shop that is as up front and honest with you as Steve is. They have fixed several things on my bike and one of my buddies and every single time Steve has told us the good, the bad, and the ugly right up front and has not went back on his word or went up on price after the job is done.

I just bought my ZX10 Kawasaki today and today was a nice to meet Steve and his family at the shop I ve got to say overall I love my new bike and the atmosphere at the motorcycle shop anything I need they are right there to answer and fix customize all that you dream of. I didn't purchase a bike but I can honestly say that's one the BEST bike shops I've ever walked in and didn't feel like I wasn't welcomed. Went just looking and ended up buying a small motorcycle for our grandson! They was an amazing group of people they give us a deal and looked out and instructed us on how the best way to teach them to ride. I personally recommend them to all my friends and family!
