I took my BMW 335iS M-Sport coupe here back I think in early 2022 due to faulty sensors and a module needing replacement (I cannot recall the exact name of the electrical component that malfunctioned and was replaced).Here was my personal experience...I called in first and was told to bring the car in the next day or so. I did not have to wait long thankfully. I brought the car in, the owner seemed ok in person for the first time meeting him, no obvious rudeness, etc.And the issue with my car was properly diagnosed in a day or so with the estimated cost given to me over the phone. The needed repair was completed quite quickly in a matter of a day or several days....no issues it seems. No long wait. Very nice.Although when I made one final call the day before picking up my car, he was sort of abrupt and rude over the phone when I wanted one last confirmation on what was done and when I asked him one final time for the total cost, he seemed irritated this time and refused to tell me because he said he already gave me the cost before. It seemed kind of silly and petty that he could not re-confirm the total price so I would know for sure how much money would be charged to my card. This is the only gripe I had here... so it is a very minor one.I picked up my car soon later, the next morning, and he was polite and friendly in person the last time I saw him. He gave me advice on what to do to have my vehicle computer reset itself since the sensor and module replacements were made by him and it would require a computer reset by driving a while, and voila... I drove my car a certain number of miles..... and it finally did reset the computer and I found my car was indeed properly repaired by him. There were no more computer or electrical problems with my car for the rest of the time I owned it.I researched the cost I paid, and it was totally reasonable btw. And it was far less than what I would have paid at a BMW dealership.Overall, other than some slight rudeness over the phone once when I called him, this place is fine for taking your foreign car to be worked on and I certainly recommend it to others in the Lexington, NC area. Prices for repairs are reasonable, no long waits...he made the right diagnosis the first time... the guy knows what he is doing and knows a lot about foreign cars like my BMW 335iS coupe... no lying or deceit...everything was done correctly... and my car was totally fixed after he did the needed repairs with no other issues arising with my car ever again. if I had not moved since to South Carolina, I would take my Mercedes-Benz here too.

Very pleased with my service from S & R Imports. I was given a clear explanation of the services I needed for my 1997 BMW. Not pressured in any way. My car was repaired quickly and professionally. I will definitely be back for any repairs I may need.

My cars have been serviced by San Bor for 15 years. His service is excellent and his costs are much less than the dealership prices. I would like to give more stars. Over the years, I have always received excellent service in a timely manner.This is a trustworthy shop and I know that I will never be overcharged or suggested services that aren t needed. This is a rarity today but not with San at S and R Import Auto.Services.

With many good reviews and recommendations from friends we took our van to Sean at S & R imports. We were very happy with the work done to our vehicle. Sean is thorough and detailed. Our vehicle was completed in a good timeframe. And now it is quiet!!! We will definitely be taking our vehicles there again. Thank you Sean.

If i could give this jerk called SEAN a minus zero,i would...Gosh this piece of garbagge is the rudest being i had ever encountered.I called a day ahead to find out if they will work on my Audi.The receptionist asked me to schedule an appointment;which i did.I then drove in the next day,and met with that cranky man who thinks that saying a simple GOOD MORNING was such a big deal.Anyways, he threw a paper at me asking me to fill it out,and demanded that i left my dealer 's tag.I then asked him if they did not have plates;which they should.Now we got to the vehicle part. He proceeded to ask me what was wrong with the vehicle( mind you,i try to explain what i was told by another reputable mechanic,but i was quickly cut off as they informed me that THEY DID NOT TAKE DIAGNOSTICS FROM OTHERS SHOP; so why are you now bombarding me with all those stupid questions?SMARTYPANTS)Anyways,the man's demeanor and attitude was plain nasty...I had to take my business elsewhere..STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN

S r import auto svc he done a great job on my Toyota I highly recommend him he honest reliable he does excellent work I will away go back to him s r import if u got car problems he the one will fix bing it to him he will get u going I ben there 2 time both times got me going. I was just shopping next door at Hardware and Rose's. This sham artist stole $1500 from me in 2011 and never fixed my VW. I wouldn't recommend anyone take their car to him.

This is hands down one of the most honest, hard-working, individually owned automotive repair establishments in all of Lexington. S & R Specializes in Nissan and Toyota, etc. The fixes can certainly be more complicated. The owner is very fast, very fair, and gave and down to earth approach that should be applauded. I fully support this independent business.

Sean and his wife did a great job on my Son's car. It was not a simple repair but they were fair on price and great on quality. Shan called each day to let me know how the repairs were going and communicated through the whole process. He finished ahead of schedule too. The guy that answered the phone refused to give me any idea of an estimate and before I could get two sentences out about what my vehicle was having problems with he wants me to bring it in and run a full diagnostic. All I wanted was an opinion on a vehicle overheating when idle along with a thermostat replacement estimate. Then I would have gladly booked. However, the guy states " we can't diagnose things over the phone it doesn't work like that." I didn't want a diagnostic over the phone. I'm aware that is impossible. I wanted an opinion on one singular question. Then an estimate. I wouldn't give these people my time of day.

We are EXTREMELY pleased with the work done at S&R. My old 2006 Subaru was in need of several gasket replacements, horrifying thought if you talk to the dealership, S&R was a godsend. The work was absolutely quality, on time and thorough! San, fixed our car that no one else could fix. We had a check engine light come on and after several tries from various places and dealers, he fixed it. We appreciate having someone like San around!

Great guy and very knowledgeable! Straight up, honest, and specific with the customer in regards to the exact work and repairs to be done before he does anything. He gets the work in and out in a reasonable time considering the circumstances of the work to be performed.
