If you need work, give the shop a chance! I couldnt be happier with the performace, price and dedication Charlie Price has to getting your ride right before it leaves trhe shop. They went above and beyond what was on the original work order and the Stage II/Corvette Spec Transmission is off the chain!As usual I had a unique situation and a fairly serious situation and they saved my girl from the scrap yard and now Ms Georgia is better than new!These guys cant be beat!

I wrote a review way too long so I will be adding details once I rewrite it. BUT DON'T GO HERE after 2.5 weeks and only 783 miles my transmission went out for the second time. They are refusing to warranty it, so I am now stuck buying a remanufactured one and will see these guys in court. THEY ONLY TAKE CASH SO WHEN THEY RIP YOU OFF YOU CAN NOT CHARGE BACK THE TRANSACTION!!!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF THE PAIN MYSELF AND OTHER HAVE EXPERIENCED. Pictures show all the metal in the pan, but according to them, we put it in wrong, and they don't make mistakes!

Said it would take 7 to 14 days to complete the transmission! My fiance called numerous times and was told they were short stuffed and that he was waiting on parts! Then was told that it would be ready the next day to expect a call shocker NO CALL! Then on the 40th day got a call saying it was finished! My fiance told the lady it would be the following week that he would be able to pick it up! The following week we are on the way there he decides to give a courtesy call something they couldn't do but we were told it would be ready the next morning at 10am we could come them! Lady tried to say that it was our fault because we didn't come the day we were called and told it was ready and that our original core had been sold so he has to make sure he has one ready! So go up the next day asked if there was a little wiggle room in price was told NO that if we didn't want it would could leave! Fiance is still in the process of putting it back in his truck will update on the transmission and Performance shortly 06/07/23 UPDATE Ok so it's been a month or so since we got the transmission back! Well once it was installed in my fiance truck he didn't think something seemed right but besides that it was leaking! Well my fiance had put new lines on so he double and triple checked everything he had did because he wanted to make 100% sure that it was nothing he did! Since it had been put in his truck he has probably been about to drive it a totally of maybe a week without in being on jack stands! Well he got back underneath it clean everything to where nothing had a spot of anything so he could see exactly where it was leaking. There it was leaking from the Servo! So fiance called up to Prices and was told he needed to take it back out and bring it up there but if he wanted them to take it out of his truck that would be $600! WHAT THE WHAT! I mean seems to me if it's on them the reason it's not right don't think we should have to pay to have it taken out! Just my opinion! Was told 4 to 7 days and it would be done! Well fiance is taking it out today and taking it up there this weekend! So let's see what happens! More updates to come!****UPDATE 8/8/23****So after a long and unpleasant experience the transmission is finally working properly and has NO LEAKS! But honestly I would at least think twice before choosing this place! I personally wouldn t recommend it! Definitely do not listen to the 7 to 14 day BS expect at least a month if not more before you will get a call!

We took a work van to Price Performance with a shifting issue. We were told it would be look at in a week. Then we told the transmission needed a rebuild. That took a month. The problem was not solved, but we were charged $2600 for the rebuild. The van went back and he had it 2 more months, even when he was asked to look at the TCM. During this time, he said he lost the key for 2 weeks and couldn't work on it. Got the van back with continued problems. After this, the van went to another mechanic who fixed the original problem in a day and a half. The van went back a 3rd time for "warranty work" when a bearing went bad. He wouldn't put it on the lift and only drove it and said it was fine. After 3 weeks we called and were told that frustration was not allowed because he is so busy and knows what he is doing. DO NOT WASTE MONEY OR TIME HERE. BEAWARE.

Great place. I arrived a little early to pick up my truck so they weren't able to test drive it as long as they would have liked but over all. I've put about 400 miles on the rebuild and it's working perfectly.

Man do not ever come to this place I bought a transmission from them with 6 months warranty and then 1 week later the transmission lost 2nd gear and I took it to a mechanic so he can take it out and when I took it to Charlie he said he d take a look at it and in 20 minutes he said he fixed it and it wouldn t happen again and that it was a filter that clogged up, I asked for another transmission and he wouldn t give me another and I wasted $1000 to get it tooken out and put in by my mechanic and surely enough it didn t work and the transmission was worst this time and lost all gears. Also don t bother leaving your car at price performance transmission cause you won t see it till the next 4-5 months he claims he s understaff and don t act suprised if he doesn t give you another transmission from his warranty cause he only has a limited amount, will never be coming back again.

*STOP SEARCHING YOU HAVE FOUND THE RIGHT PLACE*. My 2017 Silverado's transmission took a dive at about 90,000 like so many have done. Dealer asked for arm and leg, rebuilds online cost a kidney. When I came across the prices that Prices transmission listed, I figured it was gonna be a shade tree shop, it definitely isn't. The people are nice, extremely well priced, and there is nothing hidden, plus it comes with a warranty. Unbeatable. My truck was there about 3 weeks, which was fine for me, and the owner even came out to thank me for the business when I picked the vehicle up, and there were clearly 20 other Chevrolet trucks outside, it's not like I was the customer of the week or anything... He also does drop off/pick up rebuilds. I saved 6500 dollars by going here. Don't believe me? Call the stealership yourself, then call Prices Performance. PS, I live in Charlotte and made an hour drive and had never heard of Prices Performance before my transmission went out. Half up front, half on pickup. Will update if transmission doesn't hold!

I brought my 2001 safari awd down to the shop to have a replacement transmission put in. The price was great, the service was great. So far the transmission seems solid. I will update my review if anything happens, but I am very pleased and plan on using them again with my next transmission.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Took my truck there for transmission rebuild I was told 7-14 days and on the 9th day was called to come pick up truck . I can't say enough thanks to Charley & his staff very satisfied with the customer service there I went over the reviews from this place and was a little hesitant at first but am glad I took it there hard to believe all the negative reviews when I had nothing but good experience with them I would recommend this place to anyone I know Thank you Prices for the great deal & service

These guys were nothing but great. Picked up my truck, towed it 90 miles to get fixed. Best decision I ve made in a while. This is an unsolicited review. Charlie put in a stage two in my 2006 Sierra, totally changed the vehicle and turned it into towing beast. Great price too. The previous 4l60e was a disaster installed by a Facebook scammer. Saved me 1000s as I don t want to buy a newer truck.

This was a horrible experience. Took our truck to be rebuilt in November 2021. This place was recommended to my husband. He is a mechanic but didn t have the time to work on his own truck. We took the truck. Should have known it was a crooked place with the sign in the building. In GOD we Trust All others pay Cash.( First red flag) Nothing GODLY about this place. We had to return the truck 3 times. Got the truck back in January and between then and April we drove it a total 5 days each time we got it back the transmission would go back out ( Second red flag) . But we stuck cause he s got our 2400.00 cash. The man Charlie would make false promises of when the truck would be ready and it would all be a lie. This place was nothing but a con job from the beginning. He only accepts cash because he says banks give him a hard time with checks( 3rd red flag). We finally just went and had the truck towed to a another shop and it was repaired in one day. Sad thing is we kept giving him chance after chance and we still got shorted 500 of our 2400. Do not go to this place. Horrible transmission service, horrible customer service. Stay far away!!!!!Service: Transmission

I purchased a "refreshed" 4L60E here for $850. Less than a month later it started having problems down shifting. I gave them a call and dropped it off with them under warranty for a week, and was super impressed at the time for how willing they were to help. When I got it back I immediately had the same shift problem. I was given a run around about my gauge cluster not working and a knock sensor code being the problem. My gauge cluster works and knock sensors have nothing to do with it. I ended up having to spend another $500 to have a reputable shop install another valve body. The valve body had old and worn out shift solenoids for an earlier 4L60E and didn't even have screens to keep debris off of them. To top it all off, no magnet in the pan to help collect any typical debris that may be swimming around in the transmission fluid. The right thing to do here would be to give me my $500 the other shop charged to fix this, but I doubt that will happen...Overall this was a $2,500 fiasco between parts and labor. A huge financial burden for a family of 8. It is what it is...go somewhere else.

This guy is a scam artist. Charlie had a business is Salisbury that was ran into the ground with false promises. I had to file a lawsuit on him and won but he s never paid. He just moved to scam people somewhere else. Please people for the love of your sanity; don t use this guy. You ll get a yeah no problem to a sad story about why your issue is never fixed.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Brake service & repair

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience!! Would NOT recommend using this shop. Dropped my trans off for rebuild.. was told 7-14 days, I waited 21 days and called to check on it. Got some sad story, waited another week. Went there got same sad story. Waited another week, called and was told it was on table being rebuilt. Two more weeks pass still not finished. Made another trip there and was told to give him 30 minutes and he d be finished. So I returned the next day to finally get the transmission waited a total of 7 weeks. When was told 7-14 days. horrible customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACEService: Transmission

I purchased a used transmission that didn't work Sent my vehicle to prices transmission to then have a new rebuilt transmission put in and it didn't work* started slipping 3rd and 4th.. send it back after they had it for 2 months they supposedly fixed it picked it up and it broke down on the way home again.. he does not want to stand by and refund his warranty keep saying he will fix it but I am losing out messing with this guy he has had my vehicle total of over 4 mnths trying to fix issues and end up with another..Service: Transmission

Very disappointing, it took them 3 months to give the transmission back. Paid for a service I didn t receive, they put used parts in & when finally got it back there was missing sensors. Many more issues with them. Transmission was having problems & took back for their warranty but still having issues. Don t recommend at all, don t go here.Service: Transmission
