Absolutely amazing group here. I could not have found a better location for my vehicle to break down. I crept onto the off-ramp off of Interstate 85, and the engine shut off. At 4:30pm, the Friday before Memorial Day, while I was from out of state, on my way to the airport for a flight in Charlotte, these amazing guys answered the phone, took the tow, and were amazingly hospitable. They waited while travel arrangements were made, prepared the service order for while I was out of the country, arranged payment by phone, arranged after hours pickup, and allowed me to safely return home from a much needed vacation. Parts prices were completely in-line near retail pricing, and they truely were able to turn a horrible situation into a minor inconvenience. Thank you so much guys, and while I hope I never have to go again, I wouldn't hesitate if I had to.Services: Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance

Louia Motor Company has done multiple jobs for me on multiple vehicles, the repairs have been fantastic, everything from body work, transmission work, engine work, suspension work and everything in between. I take all my vehicles to him for repair. I have even bought several vehicles and even a trailer. He is my go to for any automotive needs. I even had one with a catastrophic failure he went above and beyond to get me back on the road. Louia Automotive is dependable and trustworthy. Very professional. Reasonable prices. Wendell and Ryan take care of my Mom s vehicle needs and she is always satisfied with their work and customer service. They also recommend other professionals for her if she needs services outside of their offered services. I am writing this review for her because she doesn t have a computer.

Honest hardworking mechanics here, as well as a nice little mom and pops car lot. They can tackle almost anything, and have reasonable prices. Most of my family has their auto work done here, and have bought about a half a dozen cars. A+ great place!

Mr. Louia is a great man and will go to great lengths to make his customers happy. He doesn't over charge and is probably the cheapest mechanic in Lexington. I bought my car from him 8 years ago and never had one problem with it. He even fixed it after I wrecked it for a price I couldn't believe! Great family owned business and service you won't find anywhere else.

They did an excellent job on my 2017 Honda Accord. The car rolled and hit a truck (the truck won). But the body work is great and it looks as good as the day I bought it I highly recommend them for any repairs.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

This mechanics shop is the most personable yet professional place I ve ever been to for car maintenance. It s your true family owned, hard working, genuine hospitality mechanics shop you picture in your mind when you think of day s gone by. I recommend going to see Ryan, Wendell, and James whenever you need honest, fair priced, quality work done to your car!

Had a wonderful experience purchasing 2 vehicles from here. Also had a great experience with several vehicle repair services. However, the last time my husband and I took our vehicle here to be repaired it costs us hundreds of dollars and the issues were not fixed. Was told we d have to spend hundreds more to purchase the same part we d already paid for. Very disappointed. We ve referred many people here in the past. No longer have confidence to refer people to them for services.

Ryan and the gang really care about what you need. They'll be honest about the diagnosis and let you choose from the repair options they find available. A great work ethic. Be prepared for the possibility of a little longer than normal service because: a) they won't rush "right" and b) service like this causes a back log.

The mechanic is very honest and does excellent work. One year I asked the mechanic to replace the timing belt of one of our vehicles. As he was preparing to replace it he saw that the timing belt looked as if it had been replaced recently. He looked in my records in the glove compartment and found a receipt for the replacement of the timing belt the previous year by a different mechanic and called me to notify me that it was not necessary for him to replace it. I had totally forgotten that it was replaced the previous year and failed to record the work in my vehicle journal. I have been taking my vehicles to Louia Motors every since that time.

Great service from Ryan and Wendell. My Jeep broke down and Ryan came out with his rollback immediately. He repaired my vehicle and did not charge me for the tow. I am giving them all of my business!

I can not express how grateful I am for Ryan at Louia Motor Co. My wife was driving form VA to SC on Wednesday before Thanksgiving and she broke down on the interstate. It was 4:30 pm and of course the shops closed at 5 pm. We called around and were told by other shops that they could not see the car and they were not open for the holidays. Ryan spoke with my wife and towed her to their shop that was 1 mile down the road from the interstate exit. The tow truck was clean and well maintained. He helped my wife get a rental car from Enterprise (this took about 2 hours and multiple Enterprise sites that did not want to rent a car because they had so many reserved for pick up the next day on Thanksgiving, and even though we reserved a car online and over the phone apparently there is no guarantee that you will actually be rented a car. Very stressful situation that Ryan helped not be as stressful as it could be. He did with a smile on his face and without regard to him working extra hours) Ryan took her to and from Enterprise and waited to make sure that they would rent her a car. Once she finally got a rental Ryan then helped her unload all of the Thanksgiving day food and luggage from our car into the rental car. The bags and cooler were extremely heavy (Sorry about that Ryan). Then he helped her find a good place for dinner right up the road before she officially hit the road again back to SC. Ryan was quick at diagnosing the problem. We needed a new engine :( Ryan was very fair in pricing and had a quick turn around time for a total engine replacement. He made the whole process smooth and as painless as possible. He even contacted Ford to see if the car had been recalled do to this issue. He kept in contact with us and updated us accordingly. No hidden fees or crazy charges. Really great Mom and Pop shop that if we lived there we would go to again and again. I thank God that Ryan was their for my wife on that day and helped her when she most needed it. He is an awesome guy that is genuinely a nice person. My wife called him her angel that day.Sorry for the delay in posting we had a crazy few weeks and recently moved and started new jobs.

Louia motor company is the ONlY motor company me and my family deals with including cousins aunts uncles grandparents and parents. Now getting the in laws in the Louia motor company as well. We have bought and sold many cars through them and is the only place we do business. Ryan and grandpa are the best around when it comes to prices, knowledge and timely! We joke that our family keeps them in business! Thank you for all your years of hard work!
