The BEST!!! No place else compares in terms of quality service, customer care, reasonable price, and good genuine people doing honest business! These folks helped me out in a pinch and did it with a smile. They actually cared, and to me that was way more than the outstanding service they provided me. Please take my recommendation and let them service your car. Just had an vehicle inspection performed. They were quick, efficient and courteous. They have performed other engine work in past and there work was superior. Would highly recommend them for work on a vehicle.

Definitely recommend for out-of-towners. We came into town Christmas Eve, and found our van leaking fluid on Christmas Day. The shop took our van the day after Christmas and had us back on the road on the 27th after repairing a radiator hose leak and A/C service. They treated us well on price and called regularly to keep us updated.

I d like to say at first o appreciate that for the most part they were very nice and stayed late to work on my vehicle. However; there was no communication. There was a problem bleeding my breaks. Okay. stated earlier that day we had to have the car by Sunday which they acknowledge. my fianc� and I dropped it off at 8:30 and they had to do the break hoses and universal. Throughout the day while waiting we had to call multiple times for updates. was told they were almost done just need moreTime. I appreciate they stayed late however I would have rather been told nothing could be done after multiple attempts EARLIER so I could have had options, now left with none. When I finally had the last call the professionalism dropped. Why do I have to ask specifically what was planning on being done henceforth instead of a wishwash conversation about picking my vehicle up? And Thank you for the attitude when it came to payment. As a new mom who can admit she needs help it would have been nice to be able to three way call the person who was supposed to help me pay after asking earlier if it was possible for him to pay over the phone. No I don t recommend.Service: Brakes

I had my Acura AC repaired yesterday at D & S for low freon. I went to them based on the positive reviews I read on line. I got to tell you, the reviews are correct. Dave is fair, honest, friendly and professional. Their prices are fair and reasonable. I went in without an appointment and I was out in less than an hour...I will definitely have them work on my car again. Thanks for the outstanding service.Service: A/C installation & repair

Went to this shop based off good reviews. Had a horrible experience at another auto shop which lead me here. They definitely took care of me and went above and beyond helping me out. I have been bringing my car here for a while now and have been consistently pleased with D&S. I am very picky about who works on my car but I know it is in good hands with Russell and his crew. Also, their prices are very fair. I recommend then to everyone I know!

No likes to pay to have their car fixed.. But I was pleased with my experience. Work was finished the same day and at quoted time. Fast, Friendly, Fair Priced... I would recommend them.

Went for new tires and they told me it wasn't necessary.. that my tires were fine. I have never had an auto repair place that was so honest. They will definately be my car repair go to place.

Temperature fell 20 degrees so my tire pressure light came on. Pulled off highway 18 to check tires with gauge and noticed my locking lugnut was gone. On way back to Wilkesboro from funeral I attended stopped off at D&S to see if they had a lugnut to put on. They put one on, I was ready to pay and she said no charge. All I can say is if you have car problems or need tires this is the place to be.

Had a brake caliper seize up on my way to Boone. Not only did they get me in and out quickly on such short notice but they have very fair labor rates. I would highly recommend the shop to anyone needing work done to their vehicle.

Nice Christian people. Finally a mechanic that I can trust that does good work. If you want your car fixed the right way the first time, definitely take your vehicle to them. Nice, helpful, and explain things to you.

Bought a truck a few months ago from this shop. Owner stated it was his shop truck. Super clean Dodge diesel truck. Owner stated it had a new clutch and didn t leak any oil. After about 500 miles of driving the truck, it started smoking and lost power. Had it towed to a diesel shop and after a couple weeks found it to be a cracked ring. The shop showed me pics of different things that was done to cover the broken ring so it could be sold. This guy had zip tied a gatorade bottle to the front of the engine block to catch the oil that was running out of it. Also the charge pipe going into the inner cooler from the turbo was halfway off preventing the truck to create boost so it would not affect the damaged rings. Also the new clutch that he told me several times was in the truck was found out to be worn down to the rivets and the throwout bearing was tore up. I paid top dollar for a truck that needed nothing according to the owner of the shop. Now I have a $11,000 bill for a new motor and clutch. I am a full-time fireman and this guy told me he was too. I sure hope that the rest of the firemen around that area are nothing like this guy is. So much for brotherhood!Service: Engine repair

My experience was a terrible one, took my car to have my air conditioner fix, they kept my car for 4 days the first time, they didn't call me to tell me what was wrong and how much it was going to cost. When I called he would tell me he was working on it, the third or 4 day I called he said it was fix to go pick it up. I did, the air felt a little cool but not by much, but we were having some cool days in May so it wasn't that noticeable, but days later the days got warm and my air didn't get cool. I called him and told the older gentleman my air was not working, he told me to bring it in kept it for a day, next day I go to get my care and he only gave me excuses and more excuses. My air is still not working and I had to even cancelled Dr. Appointments because is been too hot, and I paid him good money for him doing nothing. I cannot go somewhere else bc I don't have the money. Ladies don't take your cars for repairs, let a man take it, bc they won't do a man the way they did to me. Shame on him!!

This place is outstanding I've been trying for nearly a year to find out where the problem was in my vehicle I've had it in the shop twice in Kernersville North Carolina twice for two different brake jobs and my initial problem that was repaired today should have been found both prior times that I had the car in the shop which means as a single womanBeroth Tire in Kernersville North Carolina took advantage of me the people here at D&S are the most honest upstanding and professional Automotive Service men I have ever known as long as I live and my car is on the road no one else will ever touch my car again. Anyone else could have told me anywhere from 400 to 1200 to get the problem fixed and I would have not known the dif. BUT WHEN THEY TOLD ME THE TRUTH AND IT WAS A 40. DOLLAR FIX I ALMOST FELL OUT! I as a single woman am forever grateful to these people ! Ty D&S !!!
