I had a great experience at Skips Tire. When I arrived to inquire about the tire I needed to replace, I learned that it was not in stock. Debi stated she could order the tire for me and have it available in just a few hours (around 3 or 4). Not only did I get the tire I needed for my vehicle, Debi offered a loaner tire in the meantime so that I could get to work, and called me a little after 2pm (earlier than expected) to let me know my tire had arrived. The staff were professional and did a fantastic job!

Been a customer of Skip's Tire Center since we moved to Leland in 2017. They are honest brokers and they know their business. Today they corrected a serious safety issue on my work van created by a lesser service center. I was so grateful that I bought them lunch. Highly recommended!

Looking for good used tires, called Skip's and they had my size, they told me to come in and got them replaced, they were quick, efficient and very reasonable prices. I will definitely go back if I ever need their service. Honest folks.

Yesterday I arrived and was charged MORE for a used tired. A man that paid for his used tire after me was charged 10 dollars less. The woman in the office didn't think I could hear her when I was walking out, but I hear her clearly. They probably charge (CERTAIN PPL) more for tires than others. I won't be returning. This isn't the only place that charges certain people more than their own.Edited: That's bull because I had the same exact car before getting the car I have now and I was never charged that price.

Best tire place in Leland, Wilmington area of the used and new tires can't be at prices . And the guys who work there are good at what they do and friendly. Audie

I used Skip's for the first time to repair a tire that had a screw lodged in it. The repair took less than 10 minutes. The technician was very polite and thanked me for using their business. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. I would highly recommend using this great local business. I will not hesitate to return to Skip's when I have another tire need.

Definitely would recommend this place if anyone needs tires. They were quick and easy to deal with. Super nice people in the office. Would be 5 stars but they don't have a waiting room at all. They were also the cheapest for tires in town. Definitely give them a try.

I blew a tire on June 18 and no one had my size. Called around and found Skip's Tire. Brought my rim and tire to them on Monday June 19 and didn't take long for them to mount the tire. Very nice friendly employees. Price was reasonable.

Went to skips to get some used tires and would not recommend. After putting two tires on my car i drove down the street and realized my car was not driving normally. took it to another tire place and they told me the tire had many flat spots and they shouldn't have sold it to me. had to get another tire from somewhere else because i don't trust skips. They told me they couldn't give me my money back and only replace the tire which i'm not doing. pricing was good but glad i realized that the tire had flat spots and my tire didn't blow up on the road while driving.

So far, my tires are working out and they were friendly and fast! I was there maybe 30 minutes total!! The pics are of someone else's truck! (that I was admiring )

I have had to frequent Skip's Tires in the last six months more than usual, due to a repair on my car I need to get fixed ASAP! Each visit to their place of business I have been satisfied and I always tip...A great establishment. I fixed my temporary issue but Skip's Tires got me all the way together, Thank you all & especially Deb!

Went to get a new tire. Older white man with a pony tail put the tire on. I asked him could he reset the sensor. He told me, I ll be fine, just drive over 50 miles per hour and it ll reset itself. That never happened and I find out he was just lazy and didn t want to complete the service. Spoke to other people that have gone there. Even guys that work in the towing business. Told me to never go back there. Horrible business.

Can't beat the service these guys offer and they will do their best to fit you in if they are busy I give them credit for working out in this heat with no cover

this place sold me literally flat tires. why would someone sell a tire so obviously flat? I got over the bridge and my tire starts thumping. called and they wouldn t give me my money back and only offered me to drive back 45 minutes to replace. I am a single mother, why would I waste the little time I do have to drive to a place that sold me bad tires to begin with? I wouldn t go here. they dont even have a garage.

.. Being new to the area I had no idea where to go to get a nail pulled out of my tire and plugged. I looked on the Internet and saw Skip s tire Center and decided it was a place to go from the reviews. I wasn t disappointed. I checked in at the office and told them what I needed. A very pleasant lady told me I was on the list and I could wait in my car or sit in one of the chairs and they ll let me know as soon as they were ready for me. There were about five or six people ahead of me. Despite that many people being ahead of me I was in and out in 30 minutes. And the price was very very good. It s been quite a while since I paid that little to get a tire plugged. For many years I ve plugged my own tires but my hydraulic floor jack was at my house in NJ. Since I couldn t jack up my car I had to find a place to get the plug. I won t be doing my own plugs anymore. At this price it s not worth my time or the effort to do it myself. I ll definitely be back.

Fast & wonderful service at an affordable rate. No appointment needed. Don't let the lack of large garage fool you, the ladies & gentlemen that work here do a fantastic job and offer first rate customer service. After waiting over an hour (with an appointment) at Walmart, we decided to go else where to have our front tires replaced. Being new to the area I found Skip's online and so glad we went there to have our tires changed. We were in, changed, balanced and out in less than half hour. Could not have asked for better service. I highly recommend Skip's!!

Small place but very efficient.. had a slow leak in one of my tires and the guys at Skip's made short work of the leak had me back on the road in I'd say less than 30 minutes.. price was good as well and I'll be sure to visit them again in the future..

My daughter got tires there and they are so knowledgeable and great service. Great prices. He told us about a bubble in another tire and helped her get another tire so she would not get in an accident. Friendly people!!

Good service, quick and fast! ****editing review from 4 stars to 5. I gave a higher rating because I went elsewhere for tires a month ago and they were terrible and rude. Skips is great and they do amazing work and fast I 100% recommend.

Hey everyone I almost said y'all listen up. Tells where I am from haha but for real Skip's Tire managed by Ms. Debbie what a sweetheart and her family the cheapest prices for all quality tires.Trust me my wife has called every shop in the area and compared all the info for our size tires which happens to be the most popular and we saved hundreds yes hundreds. We obtained a top name 50,ooo mile touring tire(4) Things are done old school here so you'll have to wait maybe a few minutes longer but it's worth every minute. They also fix flats. So give them a call if you need your rubber changed there good people. The shop is in Leland

Ran over a screw on my way home from work this morning. Staff was quick and efficient in diagnosing and fixing the issue. After a quick plug and wonderfull service from Skip's Tire Center staff I'm back on the road. I would go back and even reccomend Skip's Tire Center to my family and friends. Thank you for the excellent service!

They have now patched 2 of my tires in the last several months and it has been the easiest experience both times. I stop by and they take care of it in less than 10 min (there has been no one ahead of me though I imagine if there was the wait time would be minimal due to how efficient they seem). I highly recommend Skip s!

Brought car in as low tire pressure indicator was repeatedly showing; turned out to be under inflated tires. They checked all 4 tires; increased pressure and sent me off without a bill! Honest shop; quick service, great staff!

Wonderful hardworking folks. I was recommended to come here by my auto mechanic,Chris Bunn. He's done business with them for 15 years now. Everything he says was true! They are so helpful and kind. They helped me by explaining different tires that fit my Jeep. Different price points and what would be most quiet and smooth when driving. Then they let me chose without any pressure. They also sell used tires. I was happy to hear they offer free air pressure checks and balance and rotation for FREE for LIFETIME after you buy a new set! This will take so much worry from me. Ms. Debbie in the office is so thoughtful and friendly. A wonderful lady to speak with. Ask for her if tou ever stop by! Thanks again Skip's Tires. I highly recommend! Blessings! Wendy Ward- McBride
