This review is about Matt's service on my Subaru impreza in April 2023-Matt is among the most unprofessional people I have worked with. Long story short, he quoted me 1 hour labor and $250 repairs. Matt ended up having my car for over 2 weeks and asked for over $500 because he was unable to fix the original problem. Matt rarely returned phone calls or texts and never provided updates. At one point, Matt told me he fell asleep under my car overnight while working on it after promising he would be done with it 2 days prior. There is a review from "Ryan" a few posts down who appears to have had a very similar experience - Matt told me my car needed new Lower Control arms like Ryan's truck. It seems Matt takes on more work than he is capable of doing and is not as knowledgeable as his website appears to make him sound. In the end Matt was unable to fix my vehicle but handed me back the keys telling me it was fixed (~16 days later) - Upon starting the engine 6+ warning lights lit on the dash including "anti-lock breaks", "transmission" , "check engine" and "at oil temp". I had to tow the car to parkway Subaru in Wilmington - (the tow truck driver informed he tows inoperable cars from Full Send Auto every month) and discovered Matt had caused over $4,500 worth of damage which included missing parts he said he installed but didn't, a damaged anti-lock break sensor and broken lug-nuts. The driver front tire was held to the car with 2 of 5 lugs, Matt broke 3 by putting them back on with an impact gun.I was forced to file an insurance claim - Geico covered it under Vandalism - and I took Matt to small claims court since I had to find a ride to AND from work every day for 2 weeks while he "fixed" my car. Big surprise - Matt did not show up for court. I had a mountain of evidence to present to the judge and was awarded the money I paid him and damages.Because it's small claims, the court cannot enforce payment so I filed a "writ of execution" against Matt's LLC. The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office told me, after unsuccessfully attempting to contact Matt in good faith, "this is not the first time this guy has been sued. We've been to his shop multiple times to collect payment and I think he has gotten wise to how he can hide assets and money to make it difficult for us to help you get your money back".Furthermore, after searching Matt's criminal history I later found out Matt has over 40 prior charges ranging from misdemeanors to felonies including DWI, assaulting a woman, and breaking into Duke energy substations and stealing copper. This is not slander, these are facts on public record. At one point, when trying to work with Matt to make right his mistakes, Matt belittled me saying that I was "an idiot who didn't know anything about cars". Which is correct, I know less than he does about fixing cars which is why I trusted him to be the knowledgable professional he feigns to be. Matt also taunted me by saying his aunt "is a District Attorney in a county close by, she always has me well represented in situations like this", which confirmed the Brunswick County Sheriff's assertion that Matt has been involved in legal trouble related to his business many times. Matt often looked to blame people and circumstances other than himself and never once took responsibility for taking 2+ weeks to do a sloppy, incomplete job. There is much more to add to this saga but the bottom line is that Matt is unreliable, unprofessional and a terrible communicator. I wanted to like him and gave him too many chances to honor his wordand got bit. I advise you to to run far away from Matthew Horrell and his shady business, Full Send Automotive, LLC.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Matt did a diagnostic on my Mazda. He was very helpful and provided a lot of information about what was going on with my sensors. I would recommend him! Great service!

We can't say enough good things about Matt. He spent a great deal of time working to diagnose an issue my husband was having with his truck. He did the repair which took care of the majority of the issues but not entirely. He spent more time researching to figure out the best way to proceed. He did not want to stab in the dark, repairing things unnecessarily. He is budget conscious and fair priced. If you need a reliable, honest mechanic go see Matt.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Total nightmare. That's a good one to describe it. Took my truck in to get lower control arms done and was told by Matt it's an easy job, shouldn't take anymore than a day. Well that day turned into a month. When I finally got it back I had to take it to another mechanic to fix what Matt couldn't and they refused to work on it because of the work that Matt did. You're not supposed to cut a subframe, therefore it was a liability. Took it back to Matt and he promised to make it right. Well? What happened Matt? Still waiting on you to make it right. Gave him two weeks, and of course I still haven't heard from him, so I finally got it fixed elsewhere and fixed the correct way. It was 2 months without my form of transportation, so I had no choice but to pay again. Not to mention, the other mechanic who fixed it to where I can at least drive my truck again said that there were bolts installed backward, bolts missing, the steering rack was installed the wrong way etc. The whole month, it was at Matt's shop. Getting a time frame was impossible also. I was told many times it would be done, and he just wouldn't call, give me an update, or when I called, it was either an excuse, or he just would dodge my call. One night he actually fell asleep under my truck. That was a little odd. I would think twice before leaving your vehicle here for anything more than an oil change and that one I would think twice about as well.

I had my brakes done on my Jeep by Full Send Automotive. From the initial phone call for a price quote through the payment process, the owner was very helpful, professional, and was not rushed. He was attentive and took time with me. I don t feel like just a number and used for money. He is a genuine guy that has a priority to have a well-run business. I own 5 vehicles in my household, and I will be using Full Send for my future vehicle needs. Thank you for a great business experience.

If you're looking to add more stress in your life, go here. I did not personally use this business but my coworker did. In fact, if you look up his background (which you can at any courthouse), you will see a long rap sheet. For one, he was arrested for breaking into several Duke Energy sub-stations throughout Pender County and stealing copper and tools.Hearing about my coworker's experience astounds me. This mechanic has ZERO car experience. Shoot, I could probably do a better job fixing cars just looking at Youtube tutorials! My coworker waited weeks and ended up having to tow the car from the shop because nothing was getting done. The tow person said he repeatedly visits this shop to tow peoples cars.My coworker ended up going to the dealership and having actual professionals fix the car. The dealership found THOUSANDS of dollars that this mechanic messed up on the car. Do you really want to trust your car with this person? The answer is NO.

Matt diagnosed that I had an alternator that was going bad on my 2005 CLK320 Mercedes. He got another one and replaced it while I waited. I would recommend Matt for all your auto needs, as he is knowledgeable and very reasonable with his prices. I'll surely use him again for all my automotive needs.Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnosticServices: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic
