Friendly AND Budget Friendly!Being new to the area I tried out the Service Center at Walmart, thinking it would be convenient and efficient. It was neither, so I decided to give Scotland Motors Service Department a try. I'm so glad I did! They are friendly, convenient, efficient, and their service costs are budget friendly. I have been bringing my car since I moved here in November 2023 and will continue to do so, as long as I live here.

I recently scheduled an appointment for oil/filter change and tire rotation for Friday, Nov.3rd at 4:00 pm. Yesterday (Friday, October 27th, ) I thought that I was LATE for my 4 pm appointment. Service Advisor; Wendy Wallace assured me that I was not late, but just a WEEK early!!! I was going to come back, but Wendy insisted that they would work me in quickly. 30 minutes later, I was driving away. I always leave happy and satisfied. Thanks Wendy, Lee Howell and all of the great staff at Scotland Motors

My experience at Scotland Motors is probably more unique then most. After searching for 2-3 months for a work truck to use in my freshly started electrical contracting business, I found one a hour and half away in Laurinburg NC (I live in Charlotte). What caught my eye about the truck was the mileage, this dealership claimed and stuck to their claim that this truck only had 28,000 miles. I was skeptical but thought wow this is perfect, and having bought vehicles in the past that were older but had low miles I thought this could be accurate. Besides, this dealership has plaques and banners claiming they have been in business over 30 years. So surely there was a reputation to uphold. The pictures of the interior on the website were extremely dark (and id find out why once i got to the dealership).We get to the dealership and the salesman Walter had the key in the ignition ready for me to test drive it. Here comes red flag number 1, the chevy key has to be wiggled and in just the right spot to turn it to start the truck. Walter says right away, yea that s common in these trucks I thought ok, lets drive it. The truck did drive fine, i noticed an oil leak under the truck and some rust but that was somewhat to be expected as it a Chevy from Maine.Get back to the dealership, sitting in the salesman office negotiating price at this point. They wanted 14,500, I offered 11,500 because of the rust and the condition of the interior (it wasn t cleaned, it was absolutely filthy and took completely steam cleaning the interior to get the smell under control). The dealer was trying to keep the price at 14,500, stating that the truck only has 28,000 miles on it! I asked him how you could wreck an interior that bad in that minimal amount of miles, and he said oh its a work truck . Here again, more red flags that I should not have ignored.

I bought a 2017 Accent and was shown a car fax report that stated there were no accidents. I took the car to my mechanic after it began smoking while I was driving I was informed that was a flat out LIE! The car had been in an accident a few months before it was purchased in FL and brought to southern pines. I will be looking into legal recourse because I have since been informed that it s illegal to do that.

I give Brandon in the service department a 100 he exceeds in customer service. He was very helpful in getting my sons car fixed and oil change. He went above and beyond thank you Brandon for your excellent customer service!!!!

Absolutely awesome customer service! They took all of the anxiety that can come with purchasing a new car and made it a relaxed experience. No pushy salespeople or cold finance dept. to be found! So happy with our new car and will absolutely be recommending Scotland Motors to all of our friends and family!

We have never had an easier or more friendly car buying experience. Lee and his team listened to us, were ready to meet our needs, and offered us an excellent deal without needless haggling. I never felt pressured or condescended to, which is sometimes the case with other dealers. We've been very happy with our vehicle and the follow-up service. We will definitely be recommending Scotland motors to friends, and I'm happy to do so here.

Very friendly staff this is first time I've had put my car in shop since buying from them. They picked it up n wer to call me before doing anything to it ..i would recommend scotland motors to anyone needing a car or work done on a vechicle.. You will be satisfied with your service

I absolutely love Scotland motors, my car was and still is perfect! but i went to inquire on a vehicle for my daughter, and the driver Door handle broken, the inside was nasty and because i ask for a lower price they wouldn't offer any services, and those were minor fixes. But the outside of the vehicle was beautiful and the salesman was very nice...

Found out later while cleaning my car it had dents that were fix and painted. I was so happy to get approved on a low credit score I did not investigate good enough. I believe it was wrecked but the paper work said it had not been.Easy to get approved mechanic awesome.Yet if your seats need cleaning, cleaning crew is terrible!!I took it back 2 times and they did not clean the sides or the back of the seats and the part they did was something I could have done myself and I'm not good

Bought my second car in less the a year very satisfied with both of my cars Scotland motors service department is #1 hands down they will take care of you and your car never any issues with Scotland motors. Had a problem with my daughter's car . Brandon O. sent a tow truck had it picked up and fixed in 3 hours . I want to thank them for the quick service and get her going again . Thank you Brandon

I had a great experience at scotland motors. I just bought my second car from them and they were able to get me a good deal both times. Chris really did his best to get me approved for a payment that I could afford with no money down I would recommend them to anyone

Staff was courteous and professional. Encountered an unforeseen vehicle service issue upon arrival for purchase. Staff addressed it honestly, apologized and agreed to deliver car to me after servicing ------ approximately 220 miles away. Transporters were super nice. Could not have asked for better treatment!

I am very disappointed with they service, is my second time taking the my truck for the same problem, the diagnostic was 79.99 I thought that they fix the problem, today I was back and they charged me for another diagnostic for the same problem, not to mention that the first time a cost me almost 1000 dollars to fix what was not wrong in the first place.

If I could give their maintenence shop zero stars I would. Everyone we have spoken with has been professional but that does not make up for the other glaring problems. The car broke down two weeks ago, we had it towed to Scotland motors because we had always had good service before. Two weeks. TWO WEEKS. They still haven't even assessed it. They didn't even bother to call once and say that there would be an extended wait time. I can understand staffing issues and having a lot of work backed up but it is absolutely unacceptable to not contact your customer and let them know what is happening with their vehicle.

This was one of the best experiences I had with cutting through the BS while vehicle shopping. I would have given it a 5 star but I had to get face time with the manager before actually getting a decent offer. I am more up front and honest reguardless of how the "culture" of the car salesman business work.

Sold me a car with 139,000 miles for $7995 I put down $1500 wanted to trade the same car took excellent care of it miles at 142000 at time I brought it back for a trade apparently it s only worth $3800! I was not satisfied and will never shop here again!

THE best place to go for previously owned vehicles! Great customer service, inventory, and prices. I've gotten all of my vehicles from Scotland Motors and will continue to go back. I encourage everyone to check them out!
