I m so glad I came here. I really couldn t believe you don t even have to get out of your car. The guys were so nice and courteous and I ve never had an oil change done so quickly I was in a rush so it worked out perfectly. I m so happy with the service.! Awesome crew

I've noticed most people are having the same issue with the wiper blades. They would not pass my car until I purchased their wiper blades. My blades had not too long been replaced. I only went to this place because it's close to my home. Today is my last time going here. Each time I went I always paid more for oil changes and inspections compared to other places. Don't waste your time or money here.

This place hires liars and scammers that try to fail your inspection with the claim of faulty windshield wipers. Took my girlfriends car in for an inspection which he failed us for windshield wipers (that are perfectly fine, working blades) and tried to pressure us into buying their $32 a piece blades so we could pass. I ve seen many people say the same things. The manager who is incharge of the scam stealing money is Ashton, a real jerk. I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants a reliable and honest service.

I took my aunts vehicle there and there is nothing wrong with the vehicle that there should be a reason to fail it but all of a sudden I need to replace the windshield wipers and one of the tires is going bald. I do not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!

This was my first time at this location and i will be coming back! The manager , i believe his name is tray, was very helpful and respectable. He made sure my husband and i were taken care of and in the most timely fashion we ve experienced ever before. He was kind and generous with our service as he checked all of our lights and made sure that our service meant everything. Again we will definitely be coming back ! Thank you to that young man!

I went to this location to have my emission done. They failed me due to my wipers which were perfectly fine and failed me for steeling wheel mechanics. But when I took it to a mechanic. They informed me that what they failed me for was not an issue. For what valoline thought it was and what it truly was two different things. And then with that being said I had to pay a late fee to get my stickers for my car. I will never go there again. They really don't know what they are talking about. They just need to stick to changing oil.

Do not visit this business. Let me say it again. Do not patron this business. I went there for an inspection. Ashton failed me for my wiper blades. Mind you it s raining outside and the blades are clearing fine. I just went to O Reilly s for them to check my wiper blades. To my surprise I was told my wiper blades don t need to be replaced and shouldn t have any issue with passing inspection. Surprise! Surprise!

In and out in 15 minutes on a Sunday morning. Everyone was extremely nice and had great customer service. You pay a little more because you're getting the luxury of instant service. Will go back again. Five star experience.

Charged almost 50.00 for windsheild wipers. They never even looked at the windshield wipers. Changed air filter but did not install cover correctly, loud and air going in incorrectly. Said they filled wind sheild fluid. Nope they did not. Ask them to put 5000 Mi on sticker instead of 3000. No they couldn't even though Wake Forest Valvoline always did it for me. First tech added my info in computer and lifted my hood. After 20 min. Second tech reenter my info. Took over 30 minutes after that to finish. Almost a full hr. Really? Had to make a trip back and get my Enterprise fleet card because they didn't give it to me. IM DONE. Been having my personal car done here. Never again!

This is the second time I ve had an issue at this Valvoline location in Knightdale - and this time it was a MAJOR issue that could have destroyed my engine.The first time, they left an air hose disconnected. Car ran funny, but I pulled over and it was an easy fix.This time, they incorrectly installed the oil filter, causing my car to leak out all of its oil shortly after my oil change (around 9:30am), leaving me broken down and stranded on a super hot day. I called Valvoline (10:33am) and they sent a tech out to help (11:15am), who added oil, which immediately leaked right back out. They wouldn t authorize a tow to a mechanic, so I had to sit in the hot sun and wait for the tech to go get parts. He came back at 12:24pm, added a new oil filter and some oil. This appeared to stop the leak, but my check engine light remained on. I insisted on taking my car to the dealership to inspect it after Valvoline s mishap, but they refused to cover this. I didn t want to risk my engine, so I insisted on having the car checked. The Valvoline area manager compromised and said I could take my car to one of their partner mechanics. This seemed sketchy, but the shop had good reviews, so I went for it. I dropped the car off at about 12:45pm, and at 3:30pm it was finally inspected. They cleared the check engine light and warned me that my car may have sustained internal damage, but that they couldn t see inside.My 15-minute oil change turned into a 6-hour nightmare that possibly caused long term damage to my car. ***And here s the kicker Valvoline will not refund the almost $100 I paid for the oil change. Unbelievable.***

The tech dropped a socket into my engine bay during an oil change and didnt bother to retrieve it. This caused my steering wheel to lock up going down the highway almost causing me to wreck. I went back and after a minute of troubleshooting the socket fell from underneath the truck. No one even apologized for their negligence. Never going here again

2024: Another NC State Inspection and I hardly had a chance to sit down before the guys checked out my car and were even able to get me a hard-to-find rear windshield wiper. Very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend!2023: NC State Inspection, in and out in 15 minutes! Friendly staff.

I've genuinely only had traumatic oil change experiences throughout my adult life. Valvoline was the first and only experience that I've had that I can easily say was not only pleasant but beyond all expectations. They efficiently completed the oil change and checked my air filter. They showed me my old filter compared to a new one and asked if I'd like to change it out. They reviewed the entire cost with tax. I'd also like to shamefully mention I was overdue and very nervous about being berated, shamed, or judged and I did not experience anything of the sort. They even provided me a print out of all the maintenance I should look into including price points. I've never experienced such amazing customer service. Thank you to all the lovely gentlemen that worked on my vehicle, but a special shout out to (I think) Kevin. You're a Rockstar and because of you and your team I will absolutely be returning. You especially made me feel comfortable and safe as a woman receiving car maintenance. To any woman who, like me, has been talked down to or duped by auto mechanics, I implore you to check out Valvoline in Knightdale!!! I wish I could give you guys a 10 star review!

Terrible place to get a vehicle inspection. Will pressure you to purchase windshield wipers or fail your inspection. They didn t even test the wipers and I just replaced my wipers 5 months ago. Failed inspections cost $24. Don t waste your money. Go somewhere else.

Went to this place for an inspection, they did not passed my truck because the passenger side wiper blade, that is not a year old yet, according to inspector was not cleaning water like it supposed to do and needed to be replaced. It was dirty, took my truck somewhere else and passed inspection.Not coming back to this place at all.

I went there the morning of the 11th of December the oil they took out has been here for 5,000 miles with the about a half quart low I get my oil changed every 5,000 miles I've been going through this facility for 25 years never had no problems anyway so they changed my oil I live in spring Hope North before I got home my oil light came on about 6 mi from my house I shut the truck off check the oil the next morning crankcase is completely empty I put two quarts of oil in my truck so I can go back to Knightdale and let them check they went underneath my truck and check something I think the oil filter might have been left loose so we went ahead check that they told me my oil pan was leaking so bad that I blew out six quarts of oil in 27 like I said all that they took out has been in there for 5,000 miles when I got home this time I checked all crankcase still full of oil so after 25 years to be the last time I'm going there they lost a good customer

I'm sitting here at Snappy Lube in Knightdale (my new favorite place to get my oil changed and tires rotated) because I went to my old favorite place (Valvoline in Knightdale) and asked if they could do a tire rotation/oil change and was told "I would rather not right now, I only have 3 guys here." There was only 1 car in the bay so I would have been next. The correct answer would have been " I'd love to but it may take a bit longer." Saying "no" to a customer who is asking for a service that you offer is not good customer service!

Terrible. Wish I could rate it lower than a 1. After visiting this location for many years, I will NEVER go back. Last visited on May 25th just before going out of town the next day. Had an oil change and all fluids checked. Transmission fluid marked "checked - OK" on the invoice. Next day while driving, my van started making a terrible high pitch squeal the last third of our trip to the beach. It takes a special tool to check the fluid in a sealed transmission. So, we had to carefully drive it back home. Brought it to Firestone, they said I need to go to a Transmission repair shop. Brought it there and said it was 3.5 quarts low (only holds 5 quarts). They said the only way to know what is going is to open and rebuild the sealed transmission (around $2k+). But, the damage was DEFINATELY caused from the low fluid). When I mentioned that Valvoline said the fluid checked OK, the owner of the transmission shop said they lied because they don't even have the tool to check a sealed transmission.Went back to this Valvoline and asked them HOW they checked it and to show me (happened to be the same person that serviced me van several days ago). He lies and said it was done. I asked again to show me. He then stutters for a while and says "it was a mistake". From there, I was just told to call corporate and file a claim. They would not talk to me anymore.I filed the claim and then spoke to the regional manager. He said he would research and then calm me back in a few days. Almost 2 months later and I have yet to hear from him. I have made several more phone calls to customer service. Each time they say they will email the regional manager and have him call me. Nothing. My van still squeals terribly and I am now facing a huge repair bill.Valvoline charges double for an oil change compared to other shops. I thought it was worth the extra amount for the better service. I was wrong. I also took our Jeep to this store for several years and it has a sealed transmission. I looked back at my old invoices and each time the invoice says "Transmission Fluid - Checked Ok". Luckily, I was able to bring my jeep somewhere else before major problems happened to this vehicle. I am now in the process of suing Valvoline. I HIGHLY Recommend going somewhere else. This place is garbage.Service: Oil change

With one vehicle in the bay, they told me I had a 45 min wait. I left, went down the street and got it done by another shop in 20 min and were far more business oriented. The guys at valvoline just weren't interested in keeping customers. Not rude at all, or impolite, just lazy.

Although the service was fast and cheap since I used a coupon, they destroyed my guard for my Civic! I left and it came off and broke the screws off! Now I have to buy a whole new guard. Thanks Valvoline, I won't be returning. Never have had this problem with any other company.

Had my oil changed and radiator and coolant flushed. They forgot to refill my radiator and coolant on top of leaving tools and a rag in the hood of my car. My truck over heated the next day and I was stranded on the side of the road for hours. No apology just a- we topped it back off for you when I made it back to the shop. Waiting to hear from a manager . $120 fluid change and they forgot to refill the fluids .Service: Oil change

This has to be the worst experience at this valoline ever employees on there phones constantly and taking smoke breaks. And a nasty bathroom and and oil slicked floor in the lobby. And got oily footprints all over my driver s side .

I brought my dog with me to run errands and came to get my oil changed. He got really nervous when the techs began approaching the vehicle. The tech came up and asked if it was okay to talk to him and touch him and then said can you come meet me so we can be friends and waited patiently until koda was comfortable enough to approach and then talked to him for a minute til he calmed down before telling me to drive forward. Koda was calm the rest of the time and everyone there was very nice!Service: Oil change

Got there at 5:20 for an oil change and was told I was too late, that I should have come sooner. The last time I was there. I got there around 4:30 and the pumps were off and I waited 45 minutes for them to get them on. I got a discount, but they didn t reset my car alarm, so my car still said oil change needed. They were very nice, but seemed very disorganised.Service: Oil change
