This past weekend I went into Snappy Lube to get a State vehicle inspection taking care of. It was my first time trying this business and my first time at this location. My experience was a positive one.It took about 20 minutes total. While we were waiting they clean the windshield and vacuum the drivers and passenger side of the car.All staff members I interacted with were pleasant to deal with.

came in from out of town the Saturday after Thanksgiving. While driving, I was googling for places that do inspections pretty much everybody was closed and the places that were open would not do an inspection on the weekend. I stumbled across this place as I was passing the exit. Gave them a call. They advised they were open. I showed up had the inspection done and was out the door in less than 10 minutes. Great service.

I always take both cars for oil change. The staff is very helpful with any problem I have. If they can't fix it they birect me where to take it.

Every time I visit for oil changes and inspections, all the guys are so friendly. They know what they re doing and don t try to swindle just because I m a female.

Stopped here because I had a flat tire and unfortunately they couldn't put the tire on the rim at this location but they checked my tire and turns out it was something I could just plug. Ended up getting my overdue oil change because they were able to get me right in. I went to the Just Tires down the street and they were going to change my tire for $120! That didn't include the actual tire that I paid $150 for. Grayson was really nice and I really appreciate the honesty at this location. The guys in the back got me in and out really quick. Definitely just gained a repeat customer. I would definitely recommend this location!!Services: Tires, Oil change

I have been to this Snappy Lube several times in the past and have been able to use their $5 off digital coupon. However, this time I was told they don t do that and the coupon needed to be printed. This is not stated anywhere on the site or coupon. The price was expensive and every savings opportunity helps. So, having them not accept the coupon after all the past times they did is ridiculous. To add insult to injury, they stated on my receipt that they checked my tire pressure and it was at 40. However, this can not be the case because my low tire pressure light was on when I left.Service: Oil change

Wife went here for an oil change and didn't realize how much they charge. The staff was super friendly and up front and was able to let us leave without changing any oil. I've been to this location many times and they always treat people with good attitude.

Great group they got there. In and out with a state inspection for a motorcycle in under 15 minutes. The waiting area was neat and tidy. The employees looked like they liked what they do, everyone had a great attitude.

Visited this Snappy Lube location because of some dashboard lights and need for an oil change (& Firestonedidn't have an opening until the next day...). Services were explained and recommended (typical upsell). Although they couldn't complete the necessary repairs needed to clear the codes (glad I kept my appt at Firestone), I at least got the oil change completed. Wait time was decent. Wish they had online appointment options. They do offer discounts, if you look. A bit pricey though.

Professional fast and nice!! I've been going to the same place for over 14 yrs this is my new place. My old place (Thee inspection) went up over $ 20 in price for an oil change without notice. You'd think they'd inform me since I've been going there for EVERYTHING for 14yrs. They just change my oil and nothing else!!!! When they do a oil change. I haven't seen the owner in a while maybe that's why the help sucks now!! BUT this place does A LOT MORE FOR THE SAME PRICE , VACUUM, TOP OFF FLUIDS ETC. IM NOT GOING BACK TO MY OLD PLACE ( THEE INSPECTION ON S. WILMINGTON ST IN RALEIGH EVER AGAIN)

I bring all our vehicles here. They get you in and out pretty quickly. Never had any issues here before.

Fast service, not generally very busy. Waiting room inside and a park bench outside. Service is pretty good. No big pressure spend money. They have you out pretty quick.

DO Not come to this place, they will rip you off, i came for inspection and if there is tint and they know it wont pass, they will tell you that is no problem and then fail it just so they can charge.

Fast and friendly employees who work hard to keep you on the go. There was a short wait,but it did not take long, and they got me out in a snappy minute.

We love going to Snappy Lube because they are snappy and there's rarely any wait for them to get to our car. They gave my wife a free oil change the last time she was there which was such a blessing cause we were scrambling getting ready to go out of town for our son's bday.

I m writing this review while sitting here waiting for an oil change and inspection. I ve come here in the past but today for some reason my very new wiper blades according to them would not pass Inspection and I needed new ones which means if i did not purchase them my car would not pass inspection. So I paid $17 each. I did notice when I arrived prior to 8am they appeared to have a team meeting. I m sure upsell was a talking point. So I have no plans or returning here for another inspection or oils change.

I had an appointment on a Monday for a vehicle inspection at another business that informed me it would be a 2 hour wait even with the appointment. Vehicle inspections don't usually take that long. I called Snappy and the gentleman said it would be 1st come 1st served with no appointment necessary. I was in and out in less than an hour on a Saturday.I was happy about that.

I've been to this location a few times w/no issue. The kid that was changing my oil tried to talk me into a new cabin filter. He did so by showing me a horribly soiled one. I knew the one in my car was clean, so I reminded him I just need an oil change.I understand the idea & practice behind upselling, but when you use deception in the process, you're no longer upselling you're scamming customers.

They were super quick, very polite, affordable, easy to talk to, and as a woman, I didn t feel belittled or taken advantage of at all. Very nice place!

I went to 1809 New Bern avenue, Raleigh NC and snappy lube and got ripped off and I will need to get in touch with the OWNER of the establishment I went for an oil change and windshield wiper blades and do try to upsell me on an engine flush I clearly didn't need or ask for and as I was pulling out my car started rattling and eventually it started knocking and everything was just sounding so bad my 2010 GS 350 all wheel drive Lexus I am the second owner and I've never had problems with this car and it's facts that shows you're not supposed to use engine flush on a car with high miles

0 star I usually go to we are the wrench inspections I Raleigh to do my state inspection he only charges me $20 he s never tried to upsell anything to me and try to scam me. But I didn t realize he was closed on the weekend so I had to go to this horrible place (snappy will rob you) and they up sold me for some wind shield wipers I asked the many if I bought it with them would I at least get the same looking one that I already had in my car he sold me some expensive as windshield wipers and they didn t look notting like the ones i had. As a matter a fact my windshield wipers worked better then the ones he gave me and mine were supposedly torn yeah right they are scammer I wouldn t recommend. 0 star

I received a call from the manager re: an email they received from me re: my experience from the 54 Durham location. He saw NOTHING wrong with his staff not properly checking my car's brakes, AS I REQUESTED! He stated the staff, Brian "likely only checked the outer pads and not the inner" because that would've led to a charge. Really? In order to provide quality service, you need to adequately inform the customer about ALL you are and are NOT inspecting. I went in expecting needing new brakes; if staff would've informed me of the charge to adequately inspect my brakes, I would've accepted the charge. I was then asked why I didn't pull back into the establishment once I heard the noise again. Really??? Your staff told me all was well! I was trusting the staff...I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR TO A SNAPPY LUBE LOCATION AGAIN! THE MANAGER MADE ME FEEL AS THOUGH I WAS IN THE WRONG...NOT COOL AT ALL. THEY PUT A WOMAN AND HER UNBORN BABY'S LIVES IN DANGER! Yes, I'm 7mos pregnant and asked specifically for a part of my car to be inspected and it wasn't done. Very disappointing! **Update: see response from manager below... now I'm being called a LIAR! The staff did NOT offer to remove my wheels to perform a thorough inspection; if they had, I wouldn't be writing this awful review. Furthermore, if that was correct, Brian would've said he offered such service, which he didn't when I went back to the establishment to confront him/them. All I received was an "I'm sorry; it's on me, not them (manager/company).
