My boyfriend ran over an allen wrench yesterday (New Year's Day) on his way back to VA and called Seto for a tow to a tire shop. While the tow was on its way we discovered the shop wasn't opened. Once the tow driver showed up we asked about other shops and he said everything was closed.Panic! What to do now?!The driver said let me take a look. Ended up patching the tire and getting him on his way home. My boyfriend attempted to pay for the tow since the driver had been dispatched and he said since there wasn't a tow he wouldn't charge for one. He arrived quickly, was helpful and professional.We're grateful. Please treat this gentleman to lunch or something.Thank you!

We had a huge issue in the OBX where we had run over a board left in the road and had punctures in two of our tires from nails....We called and Jordan came to our rescue. He was personable, fast, and got the job done, I did have to have him return as another hole was in the tire that was missed, and that only took 19 minutes from phone call to arrival. He did an amazing job and the plugs lasted the entire drive back to NY from the OBX. The rates were unbelievable and reasonable, nothing like in NY. We got very lucky to have someone like Jordan fix our tires. This place is fast, reliable, reasonably priced, friendly, and has outstanding service. Definitely go there for emergency car issues.

I was having a really bad day. Then my NEW car broke down on me. My insurance company sent Seto's to tow my car home and I was extremely happy with the service. The driver "Mike" had the most pleasant and upbeat attitude from the moment he jumped out of his tow truck. He was very helpful and friendly with a big old smile. He was there to pick up my truck in no time and mad my day just a little less stressful. I would absolutely recommend this service and company. Great customer service with compassion and a smile. Keep up the good work guys! And thank you!

Charged three hours labor for what two other mechanics quoted 1.5. the owner Chris completely lied to me and changed his story three times about the lug nut lock nut set. First the case it was in was in the glovebox without lug nut key. Then there was no case only four lug nuts. Now there was only two lugnuts in the glovebox not four and no case. Also whoever worked on car lost his flashlight in the car and I returned it because I wouldn't stoop t a liars level. What a crook,it's sad

We caught a flat in Corolla & had to drive into the main land to get it fixed. My husband went to 3 different places on a Thursday around 2. All turned him away. He went to Setos and Eric helped him out almost immediately!! He fixed our tire and it only took him about 5 minutes! Customer service was 10/10! We were so grateful and showed our gratitude. my husband and I were traveling from out of town. We broke down in Columbia NC on the other side of the bridge a hour away from where our Airbnb was in Kitty Hawk NC. We called Seto s towing and a hour and a half they came and picked us up. We needed someone to fix our vehicle so he told us about the service center. I called the next morning spoke to a gentleman He said they were pretty slammed But they would come get the car the that morning Knowing it was an emergency , and they fixed our car and it was ready by five that evening. We highly recommend Seto s .

It was pouring rain, and I had a flat tire on my heavy-duty truck. I had been to three locations in Kill Devil Hills, and none of the places even tried to help me. Then a local told me to try Seto's. I called them, and they were super friendly. They said come on by, we will fix you up! They were able to get me back on the road in no time. Every employee ( and even the owner) visited with me while the repair was being completed. Amazing service!!

Car was broke down on side of the road, driver came picked me and my car up, figured out what the issue was. Took me and the car back to the shop, and the mechanic fixed it all on the within an hour. Hard to find great service like that.

I never write reviews but have to for Seto's. I had a rental car with a flat tire and Seto's fixed it in 45 minutes. They were extremely busy at the time and took my vehicle immediately. Great service, 5 stars. Thank you Seto's!Service: TiresService: Tires

These guys were absolutely great! While visiting the OBX for a short vacation our truck's tires seemed off and with plans to hit the 4x4 beaches we needed experts to help us out. They squeezed us in late one afternoon and took extra care to balance each tire; they even made recommendations on which beach exits to visit. We felt so much safer hitting the sand after their service. Recommended Seto's to visitors and locals when seeking 4x4 tire expertise.

Highly recommend! My Odyssey broke down just after getting to the OBX. It was an extremely rare situation, and I called 8 mechanics that all said they were too busy or they had no idea how to fix my issue. Several of them had recommended Seto's, but it was farther away so they were a bit down my list. I called, and Bill was so helpful and said even though they were extremely busy, they would take care of me. And they did. My insurance company used Seto's to tow my van, and the driver was very friendly and efficient. Seto's then had the repair done in the timeline they estimated up front, and the repair costs were very reasonable. Because of Seto's, I'll be able to get my family home and finish out this vacation stress-free.Service: Engine repair

Back in October, 2022, my car was in a tumble with something hidden in the Corolla sand, taking out 2 tires. I had one spare, a long trip back to Richmond and no one around with my "odd sized" tire in stock. Seto's worked with me every step of the way with the ordeal. They repaired both tires and 6 months later the tires are still holding air. The office staff was pleasant, helpful and entertaining. The service staff was knowledgeable and considerate. I'm certain they see people like me (away from home & completely desperate) every day, all day. But, that did not deter them from treating me with understanding and compassion. Was visiting the OBX and realized we had tire that was low. Called around to see who could help us. Seto s was the only place on a Saturday morning that answered the phone and was willing to help. They told us to come on over. Pulled up, someone looked at the tire and realized we had a leak. He fixed it immediately and we were on our way to enjoy the beach again. Thanks Seto s for fixing our tire so quickly and being so helpful!

A family members vehicle broke down on the way to the beach. I called Seto's. I man by he name of Bill handled my call. VERY attentive. Made arrangements to have the vehicle towed and repaired. Went to NC on vacation from VA, Needed two new rear tires, first off the short hair blonde front desk lady is very rude in person. Second, they put two new rear tires on and one of the guys lost on of the valve stem caps, and as i left tire pressure light came on when it has never been on until they put my new tires on. they told me to come back and i did and he put a little bit of air in the tires and sent me on my way. didn t reset the warning light or even attempt to find why the light came on. Never going back to this place.

I had a nail in my tire on a trip to the OBX. I went to a couple of shops but they couldn t fit me in. I decided to call this shop and they had my tire plugged in about 20 mins. I forgot the young man s name who helped but he was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend.Service: TiresService: Tires

Completely just saved myself and 4 kiddos while we were on vacation. Made it 4hrs down here just to have my engine light pop on, I called them last night and they said bring it in first thing in the morning(the friday before memorial day). Sure enough they scanned, diagnosed and replaced the broken thermostat all before they closed at noon. And didn't charge me anymore than I expected. Now we're able to make the drive home without issue or worry. God Bless them!! They literally saved us from being stuck and without overcharging.Service: Engine repair

I got locked out of my car on a Sunday morning. I called the two places in the Outer Banks that supposedly specialized in popping your locks and that were supposed open 7 days week. Neither of them was available to help me, only one answered my call and they told me to call Seto s. We did and they were there in under an hour and had the car unlocked in two minutes. Excellent customer service, very reliable. highly recommend.Service: Car lockouts

The guys at this shop were absolutely amazing! We got a flat on our last day of vacation and they were able to repair our tire and send us on our way back home. They were honest and very helpful. Great service! We managed to run off a driveway and jamb a bunch of sand and rocks in our brakes and rotors... these guys towed our car from Corolla and fixed everything by the end of the day. Awesome.

Over the last +/- 15 years Setos s has worked on my 1999 Tahoe 4x4 three times while staying in or visiting the area. Last time it was an oil leak, this time it was a broken CV joint/half shaft. I needed the truck towed from Corolla and the tow bill was extremely fair. Each time the service was super, and every time they have had my truck back on the road fast. That quick turnaround has been a true blessing when you are not local. The rates that they have charged have always been very fair. Bill is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Everyone I have dealt with at Seto s has been top notch. Over the years I have found this company and the management to always be exceptional. For towing or repair I highly recommend these people. Dominic was a life saver for this damsel in distress. He was professional, courteous and friendly as he quickly removed a small nail and plugged my tire the Saturday before Easter.... when the station was supposed to be closed. AMAZING! THE BEST! This was easily the best experience I've ever had with a mechanic and towing services. On the way home from vacation, I broke down on the side of the road at night. When I called Seto's, the gentleman who answered was supportive and friendly. The company's owner came within minutes to tow my car and even dropped us off at our nearby hotel. He was so friendly, comforting and caring. The next day they had worked on my car within just hours of opening and I was back on the road by 10am. When I came to pick my car up they clearly explained the issue to me and gave me a spare part just in case.These guys are really kind people and it's obvious they value making sure their customers are safe and feel cared for.

My starter went south on our last day at the beach - on a friday - in the height of the beach season! No hope of any shop getting me back on the road before next week. Seto's towed me to their shop about noon. Their parking lot was wall-to-wall. I could tell as soon as I pulled into their lot that this shop is staffed by real pros! They work on all sorts of vehicles from heavy trucks to my old clunker. Much to my surprise they said they would do their best to get me done today - and THEY DID!! Thanks Seto's! PS. I tipped the mechanic for staying a little late on a Friday to show my appreciation.
