I recently had a fantastic experience at Tire First! Despite it being last-minute on a Saturday just before closing, Cat swiftly identified and replaced the leaking/damaged tire on my SUV. They managed to squeeze me in, found the tire in their inventory, and got me back on the road in under an hour. Excellent service and efficiency! Highly recommend.

I went into there expecting to buy a new tire(s) but I only had to get a repair! I appreciate the honesty of the technician!! I was also told that when I need new tires, all the perks that would come with the set. I will definitely go back there for not only tires but other services on my car. The friendliness and helpfulness of the front staff was appreciated also.Mrs. Kennedy

Tire Choice in Kitty Hawk, NC is simply the best! Great service & even better people - Kat & Diane couldn t provide better customer service - give those two a raise!! Tire Choice is absolutely our Go to shop for the entire family.

My battery died Saturday morning. I called Tire Choice letting them know I needed to leave town on Sunday and asking if they could replace the battery. They said they could if I left the car with them all day. I brought the car in right away and left it there all day. When I brought it in they said they had two batteries in stock and quoted me a price to replace it. I had not heard anything by mid afternoon so I called back and they said my car was next, should be done soon. They then called back at 3:45 (website says they are open until 6pm) and said they didn't have a battery but AutoZone had one (which is up the road about 3 miles away). They said AutoZone didn't have any deliveries left for the day and their technicians were leaving so they couldn't fix my battery. I said I could have a friend drive me to pick up the battery and drop it off it was only a few minutes away. They said no, their technician was leaving. I said well can you fix it tomorrow, they said no they were closed. So, they kept my car all day, said they would fix it, refused to fix it and went home early, and didn't care I would be stranded on the Outer Banks. I said I would have gone somewhere else, they said no you wouldn't we are the only place to go. Absolute worst customer service ever. Luckily I was able to call AutoZone which was kind enough to loan me a jumper box so I could get my car the 3 miles to the AutoZone and they put the battery in for me in 15 minutes. If I could give negative stars I would.

Waited an hour and 45 minutes for them to put a tire that was already prepared with the rim. And when I get home I notice the spare was thrown into the bed of the truck and not put back under. You already have the truck lifted, what s a few extra minutes to put the spare back under. Talk about not providing good customer service. Would not recommend and will not be returning

Bought tires on Saturday went in today to ask them to honor their price guarantee.The lady at the counter (Dianna Lesiewicz) was quite dismissive and acted bothered because I was asking for a fair deal. Their price out the door was $444 the competition was $358. I hope they don't treat other tourists and veterans this way

Tire Choice does a lot more than just tires. They have outstanding, very skilled mechanics who provide honest and knowledgeable information. Diane, the manager, provides outstanding customer service and is always pleasant and expert on automobile work. I took my car today to the master mechanic since Pugh Auto Repair, also in the area, recently told me I needed a $2,400 repair in the upcoming future for a supposed timing cover leak (I just had the engine fully replaced in July by another garage with a replacement engine and found that hard to believe, especially since no oil is leaking, etc.) The Tire Choice mechanic drove my car and checked it out and informed me there is absolutely no issue with the car nor any timing cover leak. Tire Choice did not charge for the master mechanic to check out my car whereas Pugh Auto charges $140 per hour to check out a vehicle.Tire Choice also has a nice spacious area set up if customers need to telework or do other work-related tasks while waiting and provides free coffee.I will continue to go to only Tire Choice for all work to my vehicle that they do. They recently replaced the struts for a very reasonable rate also. It is easy to schedule appointments and vehicles are taken on time upon arrival.

Brought my car in for a slow leak in one tire. Ordered four new tires to be installed the next day. During the install the wheel lock broke off and all I got was you have to take it to BMW . When I replied you have my new tires and yesterday you definitely did not think I should be driving 88 miles on it which is what it would take for me to get to the BMW dealership , I got a blank stare. I understand these things happen but take responsibility and problem solve. I did and went down the street where they were able to assist so it was not a problem that could only be solved by BMW. They also got my business for four new tires.

Took my car in on a Saturday with a tire leak. Even though they were extremely busy they worked me in so I could get to work on Monday. Also, since I got my tires there, it was free! They are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

They were awesome for me. Needed a patch on rear inner tire of a dually. They were able to squeeze me in the next day. They were slammed busy but could tell I was in a pickle for needing to haul a fifth wheel next evening. They did their best, and I could tell that they really worked hard to make room for me with availability. I am very grateful. Fair prices, great customer service, and got things done in a timely fashion. Call to make an appointment is my suggestion.

Such a freindly staff and get a honest, straight foward diagnosis of whatever is wrong woth my cars. I have purchased many sets of tires over the years and when I have a tire issue I never have to worry about a thing!Great company and the manager is outstanding!

Worst customer service my family has ever experienced. Claimed my mom s credit card wasn t going through and decided to call the police on her only to later find out the issue was on their end. Absolutely vile way to treat anyone, but especially someone they knew had just returned from taking her husband to get surgery. Don t go here if you expect basic human decency.

Ordered 2 tires for the front of my truck. When the tires came in I showed up for my appointment and was informed that the store doesn't have a lift or a hand jack that will lift my 3500 gmc off the ground to change the tire. Said they could send them back or I was told to purchase them and go down the street to a mechanic shop. No discounts or anything for taking half my day off and running around. The place down the street came out with a hand jack changed them and got me on the road. A tire store should have several heavy duty hand Jack's and jack stands to be able to at least handle a 3500 but most tire shops can change 5500 dual tires no problems. Will never use or refer anyone to Tire choice.

The lady at the desk was super helpful and friendly. I had my car towed in thinking it was the alternator. She called me less than an hour after it was dropped off telling me it was fixed and it was only a fuse! That made my day

Asked them to check my brakes since my steering wheel would violently shake and it was very bumpy when I had to stop , and they said they were fine after test driving my car. Took it to my old trust worthy mechanic where I grew up and replaced both my front rotors and brakes. It rides like a dream now. Definitely don t recommend this place

The staff at TireChoice in KDH were all super friendly when I needed to purchase 4 brand new tires. I especially appreciated the help from Kat and Dianna. These ladies were kind and knowledgable! I will be back for sure!

I WILL NOT BE RETURNINGI had a 9:30 am appointment for a simple tire rotation. Arrived at there shop at 9:15 am and walked to the counter to check in. Once at the counter I said good morning with just a response of, from Brandi, do you have a appointment? Not even a smile, so I gave here my appointment card. Let her know I was getting a tire rotation. Her reponse was it that all!!. Still very cold so I gave her my info my key and sat down.My car was checked in a few min before the appointment time and didn't even get looked at for an hour.I watched other customers come in after me, one for a tire repair, the other, was one hour late for an appointment arrival, both were taken before my car and they were gone before me.They do have a sign at the counter this is why they get 2 stars instead of 1' however completely rediculas wait because I was put behind others tardiness for a simple tire rotation.

Held my car for two weeks and never looked into my issue, then informed me there's nothing they can do, and I had to get my car towed out of there to another shop. Two weeks, no updates. Also broke my sisters car door handle off while she was getting her AC fixed and sent her home with a broken door handle and no fixed ac lmao

Great experience for my first time there. Ordered my tires with them ahead of time, made an appointment, and they got me in and out with a mount and balance in under 1 hour. No issues. They do stay busy.

Shortly after arriving in OBX I discovered a nail in my tire. Tire Choice was recommended to me to get the tire fixed. They were very busy and there was a sign that indicated they were short staffed, like so many places these days. Even under these circumstances they were able to fit me in to get the tire patched so I could enjoy my vacation. I highly recommend Tire Choice in Kitty Hawk.

Highly recommended tire shop.The staff and service was top notch. My daughter had a screw in her tire and we figured that the tire would need to be replaced. I was expecting to get screwed because we were in a beach resort area. After talking to Diane about the options of patching or replacing because the screw was borderline sidewall - after checking it - the tire was replaced. After dropping the car off, expecting them to take all afternoon - they were amazingly done within an hour or so. The prices were a lot less than we expected and they are all very nice. This is our new go to for any sort of vehicle issues when we're down here.

My husbands truck would not start and it was late afternoon the day before we were leaving to go back home from being in Nags Head for a week. We called so many places and were turned away because they were backed up with other vehicles and would not be open on Saturday. My husband finally called Tires Choice in Kill Devil Hills and they told him to have it towed on Saturday morning and they would get it taken care of. We were sure it was the starter. The manager, Dianna, had her best mechanic work on it. They took the truck in as soon as it got there and we were out in about an hour and a half. Thank god they were able to fix it as other shops were telling us they would not be able to get to it until Tuesday. We live 4 hours away and would have had to stay in a hotel which would have been another expense. Tire Choice took care of us and we really appreciate it!!

I couldn't be more happy with Tread Quarters service today. I had a tire that needed replaving. They went above and beyond giving me a fair price to replace this one tire. They were able to do it this very day. Then when they were done, they let me know that they also adjusted the other three tires air pressure and filled up my washer fluid, all at no extra charge.They didn't have to do the extras, but they did, and they were all so polite and professional.

We got a messed up tire on our Honda CRV the last night of vacation. We were in a bad desperate spot. I know very little about cars.At about 10pm that night I easily scheduled an appointment here online for 9:30 the next morning.They were very busy and it was wicked hot. Still they were prompt and took care of businessMy tire was salvageable so they only charged me $27. They could have said the tire needed to be trashed. I just needed the problem fixed and they were honest.The woman who sets up appointments in the main room rocks and does not mess around. She also has great relationships with her customers.A handful of the people coming in / waiting were local senior citizens, showing this is a place that people who live here know they can trust.

Dianna and her team were amazing. I'm visiting OBX and needed tires in an emergency because mine were bald, she worked with me and ordered the tires in one day and had my car in the next day and done with a balance within 2 hours! Kind, caring and respectful.. love those kind of places, especially being a business owner myself.. EARNED an A+

Tire Choice and Diana are life-savers. Had a blow-out with a run-flat on a Sunday. Left a message and Diana called back within an hour and ordered the tire while we were on the phone. She called immediately when the tire arrived and had it installed within two hours. The best service imaginable. If only more businesses were run this way. Highest recommendation.
