I was at VIR attending a P.R.E. Trackday on 3/25/24 with a brand new ktech rear shock where max speed cycles was set up as a vendor and was advertising suspension set ups. I visited his booth bright and early at 7:45 AM and inquired, he told me he can help and to come back after a couple sessions. I went back after two sessions and he asked me to write down my name and number and that he would text me when available. Come around lunch time I still haven t heard anything and I went back to check on the status and was told he would not be able to get me done by the end of lunch. Waited the rest of the day not so much as a single sorry we couldn t get to you at the very least. I m very disappointed by the customer service, I would ve atleast talked to someone else in the paddocks if he would ve just been straight with me from the start instead of giving me the run around. Instead I had to spend my entire trackday with an extremely out of whack rear shock. This is no way to do business, also this has no bearing on P.R.E. and only how max speed cycles is being operated.

Great people and awesome service. Went to get my new bike inspected and it took about 15 minutes from the time I walked in the door. The staff are very knowledgeable and give excellent advice. Will be bringing my bike back for future upgrades and service.

I ve been riding track for 3 years and I ve bought a handful of things from these guys at events. I had their stickers on my bike and trailer and everything. But last year they ripped me off $40 for a safety wire tool they never replaced for me after it broke on its first use. Said they would mail me a new one and never did. I let it roll off my shoulders. People forget sometimes and I move on. But then when I ask to borrow a screwdriver to fix my helmet, suddenly trackside support means nothing as they don t want to help you right there at their table for maybe 10 seconds. I will sooner pack my bike and go home than ask for their help again. Very knowledgeable guys, but only care when you open your wallet I guess.

Can't say enough (good) about this establishment! Every single one of these guys are super respectful, super genuine. Oh, and they absolutely know what they're doing! 10/10 recommend, any day of the week....That they're open, of course! Lol!

Recommended by my boss, The service department took care of my inspection in a jiffy. They also have a decent selection of gear and parts. This will be my new spot to get my bike work done from here on. Couldnt recommend more.

Awesome place of business. While waiting for tires to be put on I got to hear awesome track stories from a riding coach but also got hooked up with a awesome rebate for the tires saving me some money. The mechanic Corey is an amazing mechanic and very knowledgeable to bikes, max speed is one of the most honest shops you will find and also the most trustworthy with your 2wheel wonders. Man I can honestly say I wanna find more stuff needed just to go hangout there lol. Burn rubber not your soul people :)

Had my suspension adjusted on my 2022 GSXR 750. They fit me in same day and was finished in under an hour!!!! . Corey, did a fantastic job getting my bike set up for me. Everything from braking and turning in corners has completely changed into a smoother transition. Couldn't be any happier . I highly recommend having your bike set up at Max Speed Cycles and be sure to ask for Corey

Stopped in to have state inspection done on my Harley. Not a big deal but Austin was super nice and very helpful. Friendly customer service is sadly lacking in Kernersville at most shops and parts houses. It was refreshing to be treated like a valued customer. Aired up my tires and had me on the road in 15 minutes. Thanks Austin.

Well so far this store had had my son's dirt bike for 9 (NINE) weeks. This place came highly recommended. We've had to call multiple times just to get an update. No calls from this store to us to inform of status or what needs to be done, etc. I realize it isn't urgent but to a 17 yr old, 9 weeks is FOREVER. I spoke to some one yesterday and was told a part was ordered, should be in today, Friday 7/23/21. Still no call, no info, no change. Are they TRULY that busy? Never again. Would not recommend.

I took my atv to max speed because it would crank then turn off. I told them what the bike was doing. They said they would take a look at it. 2 weeks later they called me and said it needed a wire harness because I had lost my key, and had to wire up the turn on switch. Then I explained that I had ordered a new switch i can fix that myself , can you get it running? I was informed that it could be my stator going bad. I get the stator fixed parts and labor, $565. The bike still wont start but backfires. I take the bike back home because it seems like it's a money pit. I changed the spark plug and the bike fires right up and run just fine. As a motorcycle shop. Are you not supposed to start with the small things and work into the bigger problems. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They will try to take every penny out of your pocket.

Went to get a new rear tire and fix the brake because I had a good past experience. Not only did they do it quick but noticed my kickstand was difficult to go down and fixed it without saying a word or charging me definitely my go to. Thank you Corey for taking an inconvience and making it no longer exist

Dropped my bike off the day I purchased it. Had them go through the bike and check it over. Honest and courteous no doubt. They worked me into the schedule without an appointment. I was shocked at how quickly they got me done and how reasonable the cost was. Highly recommend!

After speaking with Moe about purchasing a vehicle I drove 8 hours from North Carolina to purchase a Camaro. When I arrived he showed me the car it was exactly what I expected. Took it for a test drive and it drove like new. I appreciate His service and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a car.

Great pricing on a new set of Dunlops for my bike. They mounted, balanced them and then inspected my bike in only a few hours. Will definitely return here in the future.

Owner is too busy to speak to customers and his help at the counter...wasn't helpful. Scheduled an appointment for springs and brake lines. The simplest of motorcycle mods. I took the bike in 3 days after setting up the appointment and the dude at the counter had no idea how much to charge us. Against my gut, I left the bike there for 5 hours and when I returned after not getting a quote all day the guy said "I'm pretty sure we can do it, I just don't know how much to charge you hahaha"Which later was revealed, that they can do the brake lines but if the abs module has to be flashed, then I'd have to trailer the bike to kawasaki. Hilarious. They also wanted me to leave the bike there till they figured it out and until the springs came in a week later.I went back with a helmet and retrieved my bike. I told them to at least get a sheet together so I could buy the springs and they still haven't called me back, now 3 days later. Incredibly disappointing as I've bought parts from there and had numerous friends recommend it. Oh well, time to find a new shop that has time for their customers, and modern solutions for modern motorcycles.EDIT: REPLY TO OWNER :You literally walked past us as we milled around your shop for 20 minutes waiting on your incompetent employee to get off the phone. Since you apparently don't know how a business works, you should ask someone "hey can I help you?"You had prices for the springs ready, not for the entire job. Your employee could not tell us how long it would take and didn't have the sheet ready. Please don't lie to try to cover for your employee, it's kinda sad.I'm fairly certain your employee asked on the phone whether or not the bike was ABS, but if you had done even a millisecond of research, the majority of ninja 400 and z400 sold in the states come WITH ABS.I don't know how to tell you that 5 hours is not a short amount of time. Particularly since you knew the bike would be there, 72 hours prior, you could have prepared. I know, that's asking a lot of a professional.Your employee literally told us the springs wouldn't be in for a week and to leave the bike there. Maybe you need to talk to him before you respond to reviews about situations you were not present for?

Best pricing in town for tires. And best service. They sold me an upgraded tire and install that was 40% cheaper than the other guys on the cheaper tire. Won't go anywhere else for tires....

I didnt buy anything or have any work performed from them because of this conversation i had with them on the phone. I called to see how much it would cost to install new tires on my atv. And this is what was saidwith some attitudy judy going on...Im going to charge you $78 labor price and price out and install new valve stem, and since you didnt buy the tires from me its gonna cost you another $20.I am in customer service and this is more like how the conversation should goHe Should've said my installation rate for all four tires is $78, do you want new valve stems? If so I will need to price those out. Also if you dont buy the tires from us we have to charge another $20 (to make that easier you follow that up with sorry man the whole conversation wouldve went better)Its all about the presentation in customer service I know because like I said I am in customer service, working on blood analyzers in labs and hospitals. Its all about how you talk to the person and the delivery. Had he put it like i said i wouldve been receptive to the cost. But now i have found a place that is 20 min further away and is actually charging me $5/more per tire, and im willing to give them the business.I hope they read these because with a simple matter of learning how to properly talk to people it will generate more business for you in the long run. This is in response to the owners response. The main factor in my review isnt the $20 extra charge its the lack communication skills and the delivery of the information. instead of breezing over the review and then writing a response you should really read it and absorb it. I even gave a "proper" delivery of the information I didnt just say your person didnt know how to talk to someone. In customer service there is a proper way to talk to someone and not all people have this skill. it may be wise to sit down individually with your employees and have a one on one, on how they deliver information as well as respond to what customers say to see if they have this skill. if not you have 2 choices...replace or educate, if neither is done then this is bond to happen again....which means you will lose business....again.

All i can say is wow!! I brought my stock 14' gsxr 750 to get a mid pipe, intake, and bazzaz with a tune and it completely changed my bike. The guys working there are super nice. Scott helped me pick out the parts and made the whole experience easy and smooth. I can't thank you guys enough and i will definitely be back.

I took my bike in to have the full maintenance service done, which I was told included such items as: Check and adjust valves, spark plugs, clean air filter, flush brakes, clean and lube chain, and oil and filter change. While I was there I decided to have the bike's suspension re-sprung for my weight and upgrade the valving and rebuild the suspension, since it was 10 years old.The entire job was supposed to last 2 weeks but this turned into almost 1 month. During this entire time the price kept changing, a lot. Up, then down, backup again, back down, and finally way up. After almost a month I finally got a call the bike was ready.Immediately upon inspection I noticed the chain was not clean and the brake fluid had not been flushed. How did I know the brake fluid was not flushed? Because the bike had the blue-colored brake fluid you can no longer purchase in the US and the shop said they didn't have any either; however, I was fine with just Motul. I also noticed they installed a K&N oil filter, which I asked SEVERAL times NOT to install because I've had one burst, two others leak for no reason, and one on my BMW just implode on itself; thus, I am completely against the use of K&N, but I was more than irritated the filter was installed and neither of them was very confident they used Amsoil 10W-40 in the bike either, so I was really not too happy but whatever.I drove the 1.5 hours there because I was told the machine would be ready in the morning. When I get there, I had to wait over 3 hours! I get that he admitted he screwed up on installing the rear shock and had to fix it, but I even told them I was pressed for time, but I let it slide. Finally, we got to the point where I could sit on the bike and get the suspension adjusted, paid way more than what I was originally quoted, and rode home. Now, within 30 days I noticed the K&N filter leaking, go figure, so I just changed all the oil and moved along, money wasted because someone didn't want to listen to their customer. Within the 3 months since I picked up the bike I though I noticed, from within 3 weeks of picking it up, there was a faint line on the fork tube, but moving, work, and life doesn't provide as much time as I typically need to inspect small things and especially since I paid for the suspension to be rebuilt, which should have included new dust boots and seals. Now, less than 90 days later, my fork was leaking like mad. I noticed the dust boots were NOT new, they were reused from a 10 year old bike! At this point, I doubted they even used a new seal either. I have owned 7 bikes and put over 100,000 miles on one of them, out of all 7 bikes, never had an issue with a leaking seal, especially when you rebuild the suspension with quality, upgraded, components.I called the shop and explained my situation and received NO CALL BACK. Three days later, I decided to call them again and was talked to by someone with an attitude about the entire situation and, while they offered to fix their crappy workmanship, they refused to reimburse for shipping of the forks, even though I can clearly demonstrate they screwed me over by not only reusing the dust boots, but also the fork seals! Someone, I have no idea why, they wouldn't think I'd look for an expert, non-biased opinion, of the situation, and was advised both the dust boots and the seals were in fact, reused from the old bike. The new shop even advised me, since I had already purchased upgraded components, that fo $18.00 more, I could install upgraded dust boots and seals made from a higher quality, denser, stamped rubber design with a higher quality spring, as compared to the cheap, run-of-the-mill, moulded rubber, low quality spring, dust boots and seals most other shops use.If Max Speed Cycles believes for one minute I am no threat to their reputation trackside, think again. I'll be in the CCS Florida, and CCS Southeast race clubs next year and you had better believe my opinion of their shop will not be held back.
