I had a fantastic experience with Active Sounds! After hearing many recommendations for their remote start installations, I called for a quote at 3pm and had my truck in their shop by 6. The staff, especially Moises, made me feel very welcomed. My Viper Remote start was ready by noon the next day, and I was thrilled with their efficiency and service. I even got a demo of a newly installed sound system for another client, which left me eager to return for a sound system upgrade. Highly recommend Active Sounds!

My husband purchased a radio for the amount $850. They told us 3 different times it wasn t working and they d keep trying. The 3rd time we request money back, they wouldn t allow a refund because it s a special part (they claimed) We never signed anything stating no refunds or that this was a special part. We are now suing and called the police for a report STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!

Amazing customer service I didn t have a single issue. They helped me out with wheels tires, and a lift kit. Probably gonna come back tomorrow and get a sound system too. cause they sound amazing. If you re looking for a place you can bring your car or truck and trust that they know what they re doing. I would definitely recommend bringing them here.

Called this place today. Told the guy what kind of car I had and that I needed a new stereo. Asked him if they had stereos in stock or if I needed to order one. He had no idea what I was talking about, asked me to repeat myself. As I am repeating what I said he just places me on hold. Doesn t tell me he s placing me on hold he just just does it while I m talking. The entire phone call was a disaster, going to someone else for sure.

I came in a talked to mosses and talked out everything about what we was going to do and quoted a price and it was a good price for what I was looking to get. I got 2 12s done along with a chuchero box and all new copper zero gauge wire. The sound it so much more clear and he got rid of my wining noise from the chuchero box I had before. If y all have anything y all want done and done right, come here to Active Sound in Kernersville NC.

Spider has tinted 2 of my vehicles in the past and the job has been fantastic! She was able to do this in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price. Would "highly" recommend.

The window tint I got was amazing! They have a new guy there that I was told had 25 years experience and based off the way my car looks I'd 100% recommend Active Sounds for wind tint!

I had the absolute BEST customer service doing business with these guys I bought my rims and had my sound system installed. Moses,Mario and the whole team were on point with EVERYTHING!!!! We ran into a few hiccups but they resolved the problems IMMEDIATELY without hesitation. They are hands down the best in town!!! For your Rim needs sound system needs tint needs or anything else go see these guys they are amazing!!! I will be doing business with them again and Highly Recommend you guys to go see them!!!! Great Job Active Sounds continue the great work!!

This is a review on Spider who does tint for Active Sounds. Spider has over 30 year's experience in the tint business. I have personally had the pleasure of doing business with this excellent craftsperson and would recommend trying the expertise offered.the job was done to perfection and ready when promised. I would not hesitate to give Active Sounds tint a try. Ask for Spider

Bad experience half done tint left bolts out of my panels in my. I feel like they butchered my vehicle. Have reached out a number times to them trying to get this resolved. I do not recommend them to anyone.

Worst car audio place I have ever been to. If i could give no stars i would. I was having issues with my subs cutting on and off so I called to see if they could look at it. I was told to bring it the next morning so I did, but I wish I wouldn't have. They first tried to tell me they had a car show that day and couldn't look at it, so I asked why they even told me to come. He told me he didn't know why I was told to come. They ended up taking 5 minutes to look at it and told me the problem was my ground wire which seemed odd to me since I have had the subs for over 7 years and the problem had just started but I let them clean the paint off from under the ground and 5 minutes later was charged $40. Well that was not the problem at all. $40 down the drain. I took it to a different place and they were able to fix the problem in a matter of minutes and let me know only 1 of my 2 subs were working so they fixed that too. If your not going to be part of their car show don't waste your time or money on this place. I would like to add that my 7 year old system was not the issue it was a battery terminal and the wire going to the sub had come loose. Also I did the review 30 days later not because something changed but because it popped up on goggle asking about a review since I had been there. My stereo was fixed a few days later as soon as I could make an appointment at a different place. The owner can word things to make the customer sound in the wrong but the reviews speak for themselves.

My brother came here for his subs to be re-wired professionally and it sounds 100 times better I highly recommend coming here and checking them out yourselves and getting some good quality work done and very polite staff

Fantastic knowledgeable service. I recently got new tires from Active sounds in Kernersville- I am very pleased with the outcome. I live in Raleigh and was in a time crunch. Yet, Moises and his guys were very efficient and prompt . When I arrived I personally dealt with Moises- he is very knowledgeable, outgoing, goal-oriented, and transparent with the information and his recommendations. Thanks again guys!

I paid alot for yaw to install and wire my headlights.I asked them about the the problem I had on my other headlights and told them if they could do it.Waited 3 hours just for install aftet couple days on the daytime led cut off I came to fix it and I got the same problem again I got it fixed already with someone else

Wow, is all I can say about Active Sound.� This business is run like the old school small business of my youth that cared about every detail of THEIR business.� The moment I stepped out of my truck I noticed the grass and landscaping was tidy, parking lot litter free and smiling enagaged employees working diligenty in shop area.� When I walked into store area I found more smiling friendly employees actively willing to help me.� They took me back to garage showroom where I was blown away at the sheer number of wheels inventoried. All of which I might add marked lower then their competition just one mile a way.� �And don't let the name fool you, they do a lot more than sound.� I was so impressed I bought wheels and tires on the spot.� None of drama I experienced in Kernersville and Greensboro.� Do yourself a favor next time you are looking for auto accessories of any kind, visit these guys first.Sent from my T-Mobile 5G Device

If you need audio to wheels,decals,lighting,alarms am much more check this ppl out they have what you need an big mo it s the one to talk to of course if he has the time he will explain to you every detail of what ever you re trying to buy an get installed. He s all about his customers an giving them a good deal. Like any growing shop you will have techs come an go but I ve seen the same face since he was doing this out off a flea market. So for those that are putting bad reviews make sure you talk to mo he will get you right because his priorities are the customer..with that being said this place is my go to..

They did my tints, pretty decent job so I went back and got my rims. Price was great but when I came to pick up my car, they weren't the rims I requested. Chris claimed the ones he gave me were a better deal, because of his customer service, I took his word for it. So, when I got a flat tire, I came back to get my tire replaced. They had my car for almost two weeks. They said I had no key BUT the key was in the car when I dropped it off. He proceeds to tell us how he doesn't fool with locks on his rims cause they're too much trouble but you didn't say that when YOU put the locks on. He said no worries. I won't charge you for the key. I type this as I stand here in the parking lot waiting for them to give me the key they are now trying to charge me 25 dollars for...I guess they forgot they've had my car for a tire change for two weeks...

I wanted to convert my car to a Push To Start. Had reached out twice to make sure it can be done to my vehicle before I made the hour drive. Was told it can be and the vehicle just had to be inspected before they can make a final decision and to see where the button can be placed. I get there today just to be told it can technically can be done, but its not recommended on Subarus so they won't do it and they'll set me up with a remote start instead.Why say yes twice just to say no when I get there and not even inspect the vehicle as they claimed was needed before giving me an official answer? Wasted my time and gas just to try and sell me something I don't want from them.

I was told on Friday after brining my truck by to get a quote that they were "first come first serve" and that they don't accept appointments. So I showed up Monday morning at 9:00 when their hours said they would be open. Waited until 9:25 and left when nobody showed up or answered the door. Went to another shop that said they couldn't do the work so I went back to AS at 10:30. I was first in line and there were no other cars. The promised my car would be done same day. I called at 4:20 and they told me it would be ready in an hour. I came at 5:45 and my car was not ready and they told me they had to pull their guy off my job to do another one because "sometimes you gotta take a guy off the $500 job for the $5000 job but we can't and shouldn't really tell customers that." I waited in the shop for 2 hours until the work was "completed." The installer couldn't figure out how to install the brackets for a stock replacement head unit (that are clear as day in the instruction manual) so my head unit is just floating around in the enclosure. He also installed an on/off switch in the glovebox without consulting me or the manual (the unit has it's own on/off switch so it isn't always drawing power from the battery). Just an absolutely embarrassing experience all around. I told them I would just figure it out myself because I wanted to leave after waiting so long after the time they told me to come. They couldn't find my quote paperwork which I had luckily (with foresight) taken a photo of. Paid at 7:25, left, and will never return. Avoid this fake Fast and the Furious shop. TRUST THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS

*SATISFIED CUSTOMER* My husband just purchased me a Honda civic coupe and we been all over for the past 2 weeks trying to find the right rims, price, etc. In talking to a friend she recommended we try this place and with all smiles on my face i am happy to say we got a complete package of brand new rims and tires, and got my windows tinted for the best price. They have truly earned my business.
