Have been using Whitney for a few years,finally found a auto repair shop that I whole heartily trust. Really believe in customer service and you can trust what Michael tells you. They know how to be honest, , truthful and dependable. Characteristics that other places need to emulate to be successful. Will have my business any time I need auto work. THEY KNOW HOW IT IS DONE TO BE SUCCESSFUL!!!

Love, love this place. They're efficient and honest. I had a car years ago actually break down near the shop; they drove to me to get it running long enough to get to the shop. Recently, another mechanic was doing an inspection for us and failed my car for numerous reasons. The other mechanic also generated a list of items they'd 'fix' for me so it would pass... I declined, took it to Whitney's and they thoroughly checked everything on the car and it passed just fine. This was super important to me as it's going to my teenage daughter. It ended up costing me a fraction of what the other mechanic was charging, and since Whitney's has fixed several vehicles for me before with no issues, I trust their work!

The best automotive mechanic shop ever. Shelby and Mike were great to work with. They made the entire experience super easy. Cost was very reasonable, and the quality of work is fantastic. The entire experience couldn't have been better!

Above and beyond helpful! I went in knowing I needed work on my catalytic converter. I had one quote from another company that I thought was a little high (after they already "tried a tune up" for $700), so I wanted a second opinion. Mike looked my car over and offered me some advise on some things to try on my own to try to save money. I was also offered a quote for about half of what I was going to be charged elsewhere. I decided to go ahead with the replacement of the CC. They got me in quickly and have been super friendly every time I've encountered them. I also have to say that I love Shelby! She is so funny and laid back. I called to give my payment and we ended up talking for 15 minutes about everything other than cars! Y'all are the best! I am so happy I found Whitney Automotive. They do amazing work for a very fair price with great turn around times. I actually enjoy bringing my cars to get worked on because I'm so confident in the work and value, something I have never had with a mechanic before.

Shelby and Mike were great to me and I was a first time customer. Very transparent on what needed to be done and on the pricing. The shop feels like if you were invited into someone s own home(which I personally love at any place of business) You re greeted with respect, and taken care of with any automotive issue you may have. Mike even offered some clear suggestions that ll best suit your situation besides the work that has been done. No surprises and straight to the point. This place is great and I will surely make this my to-go place for future problems. Thank you Whitney Automotive !

I have known Mike and Shelby since 2014. They have always been great people. The moment I found out that they were opening up the garage I knew I wanted to give them my business. They are very honest and respectful people as well as their entire family! It is always a pleasure to walk in and out of their shop. I will never bring my vehicles anywhere else. Mike has also been very accommodating with my company truck to handle all the necessary repairs. Mike and Shelby have been working on my wife and I vehicles since we purchased them, they have always been very fair with pricing as well as giving us top quality service!

Mike and Shelby are awesome! From the phone appointment to the repair these guys are in constant communication. Super down to earth people who have a ton of knowledge and know how to actually repair vehicle's and not just guess at what the problem is. Kudos to Mike for for replacing our fuel pump so quickly. We used Whitney Automotive & Diagnostics to replace our water pump on our Chevy Equinox. The car ran really well before but runs even better now. Highly recommend you forget everyone else.

My struts were broke and popping on my 2010 Dodge Journey I took it to Whitney Automotive they replaced the old struts with new ones plus had it aligned for me . They did a wonderful job it drives brand new now . These people really care about they're customers , they make sure everything is right . Shelby and Michael are the best. They re honest, understanding, down to earth, and friendly. They deliver expertise with fantastic prices and explanations. We are so glad and lucky we found them. I find Whitney autotive to be very friendly and easy to talk with. Listen to the customer, and deliver exactly as promised. After dealing with him several times I see he will not over charge you. I especially thank him for speaking upon my behalf when the dealership tried to give me the run around about bad decisions they had . Charlotte & Surrounding areas if you are looking for someone honest, efficient, and affordable to take your car to then look no further than Whitney Automotive & Diagnostics. They let me know that I didn t need all of the parts that Honda initially said that I did and gave me the option to get less work done if I wanted- I was so surprised. They also found a problem that Honda and another shop missed, my front sway bar links were broken this entire time- which explains why the handling on my car was horrific when I brought it in. I thought it was only the rear. They quickly fixed them and our little Honda handles so much better already. Also, the price I was quoted over the phone is the price that I paid, no surprises or taking advantage of you once your car is hoisted in the air.The atmosphere is friendly and professional, yet lighthearted. O and I forgot to mention, their work is warrantied as well!I have a few more repairs and will definitely be back to this little gem of a business. They were truly amazing! Thanks Guys.
