Funny story on my Nissan Armada diagnosis. issue with my car was shaking on idle or low speed etc. first day Steve suggested me to replace throttle body I bought and he replaced issue did not resolve, then assumed it could be coil changed that and plugs. I told that plugs are new but still changed. Shake issue was still there charged me $200 for labor and I ended up went without solving issues. Parts I paid roughly $250. Lost around $450. Then he slowly suggested me go to diagnose shop next to them. I didn't follow him since he did bad diagnosis already.. the issue was with clutch fan blades broken which he didn't check visually. I changed that with another mechanic and car runs smoothly now. Don't go there other than oil change they don't know what they are doing

I don't know about this place, I was visiting from Virginia, I was recommended to go to Steve to get my oil change(just a oil change) I went, they changed the oil, neither to say I had to go back 2 more times cause whatever they did my car started leaking oil. It was not leaking before I took it there and that delayed me from traveling back to Virginia. 1st they said they spill oil and they will wipe it off, that didn't work, still leaking , so now what's next legal action. Somebody don't know what they are doing. Just a oil change

You couldn't ask for better service or a more fair price. You will be treated right and the service will be unmatched. Steve, the owner, is an excellent mechanic and gives great customer service. Matt, is top-notch, too!

The best mechanic I ve been too! Taken my fianc� and my car here multiple times. They are always honest and timely. My family and I were driving from Washington DC going to Mississippi when my Chevy Traverse start shaking, it was a spark plug going bad. I stopped at Steve's. Steve and his son Matt start working in my car right away, changed the spark plugs and coil in no time. put me back on the road in less than an hour.Thanks you guys, I won't forget.

These guys are excellent. A real quality shop. Knowledgeable. Kind. Honest. Skilled. More affordable than most.We brought our 2015 Honda Pilot in for service today. We suspected timing belt, and were correct. It was overdue anyway. Performance and driving experience had been suffering. Hard start. Engine tapping for first minute or so upon start. Belt chirping.Steve's Auto did the timing belt maintenance: belt, pulleys, water pump, tensioner. No more tapping or chirping. Starts better. Quieter and smoother running overall. It's been a long time since it has run so well. Finally getting this done has given me peace of mind, which is a big deal to me.The next time you have car issues or need maintenance, I hope you'll check this team out. They did a great job. Steve's does excellent work on cars and trucks.....they got me right in and installed brakes and rotors on my car at a very competitive price and in good time....would definitely recommend then for all you automotive services and inspections as well

Good guys, had an issue with my suspension, although he couldn t fix the problem at that moment they made sure to get me in to give me a better idea of what to do. That is then type of business that will last in my book.

I never worry about taking my car to Steve. They are honest and hard working. We have used them for over twenty years. Another great visit at Steve's!! Oil change, quick and affordable.

Steve is awesome. Was hard to believe such high rating but experienced it in person. He is not just people's person but also great mechanic and business owner. He is very straight forward, very friendly and knowledgeable, and better off all, genuinely helps you. Finally I found my To-Go Auto Shop. Thank you Steve and Team for having me there and serving me in rather quick time.I would like to state an incident where 2 different mechanics said that I need to change my alternator for starting issue, Steve said me on call as well as at the shop that it's just battery issue and can be repaired fairly cheaper than what others were offering. And I got the best battery with 3 years of warranty. They are the best in market!

Could not fix the problem on my car. I had brought my car multiple times from engine start problems. I have followed every recommendations from changing spark plugs, cleaning the engine, engine air filter, and doing seafoam gas tank cleaning. My car is still having the same issue just as I brought the car to Mr. Steve the first time. Would not recommend.

Steve is very fair on his prices. I send alot of people to him. As well as my own vehicles. Everything he's fixed is still fixed and running today!

I had an issue while on the highway, not familiar with the area at all. I was recommended to Steve's. They replaced my alternator in less time than expected, we're very knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and reasonably priced. I consider it very fortunate to have found these guys! Obviously reputable as well!

My father took his Subaru here to get it looked at and Steve was super helpful. He gave my dad an honest opinion on what as wrong with the car and if it really needed to be fixed at that time. My dad spoke with him about a second car he has and Steve recommended another gentlemen to my dad. Steve was honest and upfront about the work that needed to be done, or not done, and my mom, dad and myself will be bringing our vehicles to him from now on. Highly highly highly recommend.

These guys are the best! They are the people to go to for all your automotive woes. They are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and they will treat you fairly and not gouge you on cost. I have always gotten fantastic and amazingly fast service from them even when it is clear they are up to their neck in work. As an example I took my car in this morning as it was cutting off and the engine was acting as if it was not getting any fuel. I managed to nurse the car to the Steve's and waited for them to open. They opened early for me, Steve took a look under the hood and found that the vacuum hose had popped off and that was what was causing the engine to sputter. Five minutes and $11 for a part and labor and I was on my way. Another mechanic shop would have held my car for all day and most likely have charged me $$$$ for such a simple fix. These guys rock!

This was my first visit to Steve's. He will now be my regular mechanic! I had been going to Toyota because I had a warranty. I no longer have one and their prices had gotten ridiculous. Steve did the work on my car for a fraction of the cost. He also said some of the things I'd been told needed to be done didn't need to be done. He is honest and close to home.

I live in Connecticut and my dad lives in Salisbury, NC. My dad has been using this Mechanic shop for about 3 years now. Anytime that my dad has had an issue, I call Mr. Steve and he takes care of my dad right away. He takes extra care of my dads vehicle to make sure he is driving a safe vehicle and this gives me piece of mind living so far away. This place has always gone the extra mile for my dad. After the service has been completed, they will call me to get the payment. I am very grateful for their honesty and integrity, which seems to have been lost in many businesses today. Thank you guys for always being there for my dad.

I drive all the way from Waxhaw to take my car to Steve's. I don't trust any other mechanics, never been taken advantage of here. Great service with great prices. Mondays are really busy so if you must go try to go on another day. They offer inspections, oil changes, brakes, engine light diagnosis, and minor engine repair.

Matt is my hero! My little 05 Liberty is falling apart but because I love it so much, Matt is helping me keep it running!He quoted me a decent price and was upfront about what 'could' happen while he was fixing it because it's so rusty. I appreciated his honesty and his work!When I first moved back to NC, my hubby and I went to talk to him. He was personable and honest about our car (10 Focus)I remembered that and that's why I brought my Liberty to him!I would recommend him to everyone!!!

This guy is straight up honest. I took my car to the Toyota dealership and they quoted me thousands of dollars of work I supposedly needed(seals, etc). Took my car to Steve s, showed him my list From Toyota, he put my car on the lift and physically showed me that all of the repairs they said I needed was bogus. If you re looking for an honest, reliable auto mechanic, definitely go to Steve s.Services: Wheel alignment, Brakes

Such a great automotive shop. Found myself in a pickle. CTR automotive tried to over charge me by 378 bucks for a oil pressure sensor. Steve's got it done at a fair reasonable price 50$ mechanics fee. God bless people who are still honest. Highly recommend

Locally owned and operated by father and son. Both great and amazing men of faith. I have and always will take my vehicle there for service or repairs. There are honest and will never take advantage of any customer. I've sent my daughter there by herself without worry.
