I bought a Mercedes-Benz SL550 roadster from Carvana and the car's retractable roof and convertible top would not go down or function nor would the Mercedes-Benz command system and radio operate when I received delivery of the vehicle at my home. Under the Silver Rock warranty that came with my car, this shop was one out of some others recommended to me to fix this car under the 100 day warranty after purchase from Carvana.I called several other places, including Euro shops, and they did not even want to look at my car and one place even said that my retractable roof is not repairable as once the roof doesn't work right, it never works right again on Mercedes-Benz SL cars and this same other shop said that I should even look into returning the car to Carvana. I know Mercedes-Benz SL cars are complex cars, so I thought this might indeed be true unfortunately. This was proven untrue in my case thankfully after this shop here worked on my car and completely fixed the issues with my car.I called around early June of this year and scheduled a date not too far away to take my car here. The day I brought my car here, everything seemed fine. The warranty from Silver Rock was validated by this shop and the employees seemed familiar with this warranty program and service from Carvana liked they had done warranty work before with Silver Rock and Carvana car buyers. So I was pleased I knew my warranty would be honored.Upon arrival, the mechanic talked to me and looked over my car, but he said in his own words after I sat inside the waiting area that "it is bad." I think he mentioned problems with the battery, slow start-up ignition speed, and some other related electrical issues that may be causing the retractable hard top go down into the trunk as it should and the MB command system and radio not to fully function while I sat briefly inside this auto shop waiting area.In just one day, they had diagnosed all of the problems and completed repairs. I received a call the next day after I brought my car, that it was ready and working just fine now. Very quick turn around time.I soon came back to pick up my car, and I was told they worked with the warranty company and everything was covered.. no problems. I then needed someone to go over with me how to use the retractable hard top since it now worked, one mechanic did show me and I was able to turn on and use a fully operating MB Command system as well. And then after I was hearing their corny sarcastic humor telling me to give them 4 and a half stars here on Google after I told them I was going to give them 5 stars, I was off in my fully functioning car.Google doesn't enable anyone to give you 4 and a half stars, that is not an option, so you are getting the full 5 stars like I told you!!! Congrats!!!Overall, my experience here went exactly as it should. They worked perfectly with my warranty company with me not paying a dime for repairs or labor, they were very fast in completing the work, did superb diagnosis on a more complex car, did all repairs excellently and explained everything with records, showed me how to operate the retractable roof properly, and I have had zero problems since with my car since taking it here. I don't think it can get any better than that.

Sad times. My family has been using Josh since he started up on Treece St. Always been honest and got things done in a decent amount of time. This is no longer the case. Called to make an appointment on a Monday, was told they couldn't get to it until the next week. Okay fair enough. Had it towed in the following Monday as told to do and it still took two weeks for them to even look at it. Then they still didn't have it fixed after having it for a month. I don't know if they are just taking on far too much or if they have gotten too good for little folks but I know I, and my son will not go back and I'll now steer my parents to another shop.

Today took me as a surprise. I'm in the waiting area and the store owner called a lady derogatory names, just because she was asking about her bill, and why she never received an estimate. He insinuated she was a waitress as if that was beneath him. Disgusting behavior. I'll go elsewhere.

They don t deserve a star. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with sass and attitude from a lady. I asked if someone could point out something under my steering wheel that would take a whole 30 secs at best!! The lady kept telling me she s not gonna pull anyone from a job to point out something and I said ok I understand thank you Then some dude in the back of the office said he would help me out when he was done with his phone call So when he walks up I tell him what I was looking for and asked if he can point it out for me. He told me he gonna have to charge me $65-$75 to do that!!!!!!!! I told him that I wouldn t pay that for him just to point something out and I thought he was joking and when I declined he just says ok and turns around and walks away!!!!! U don t treat customers like that first the lady was rude as hell then that dude was just as bad I feel like he was trying to make a quick buck bc he knew what I was looking for . I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL

Josh and Zach were great to work with. Replaced Valve Covers and Vacuum pump all respective gaskets and plugs.... runs great and really reasonable $, Thanks guys!

I was referred to this place from another mechanic and I am glad I took my car there! Thy are very reasonable with their prices and it s not sky high like some auto shops will charge. The owner Josh is very friendly & courteous. Thy do have allot of cars on their lot, and thy stay busy. So it s appointment only. But u can call and see if thy have an opening for same day, & they will try to fix u in if they can. Been there 3x and so far my experiences have been great, and don t plan on taking my car anywhere else! It s hard to find a shop u can trust & doesn t overcharge, esp if u are female ( I m always worried about getting ripped off & taken advantage of b/c of my gender) If u looking for something local & family owned I highly recommend this place !

Honest service and fair price. Had my MR2 serviced here Chuck and Josh were outstanding on their job on the car. I'm not a mechanic but I know enough about cars to become DIY weekend mechanic. They went above and beyond to make sure that the job was done right and even made recommendations to what was needed and to get my car running again. I am very satisfied with the service I got here that I highly recommended this shop to all. If you have any doubts about them then come see me personally.

Horrible customer service! From the minute I walked in the lobby they were nothing but rude and unhelpful. Extremely unprofessional. I had a simple question and the mechanic walked away while I was still talking.

Great at what they do, I don't take my vehicles elsewhere. Alignment is very accurate, service is done in a timely manner and employees are very nice people, they deal with a lot every day, props to the team you guys are great.

The reason their lot is always full is that they provide excellent service for great prices. Also, the office is unlike any other car shop's I've been to. It's gorgeous in there. Don't bother with this place they can't even call you back. Check out the auto repair on south ridge rd. He'll tell you get it here and they'll fix it.

I have used this location since 2014. Josh the owner is nice and will give you an honest assessment of your vehicle's issues and repair cost. The work is top notch. Occasionally there have been a few issues but Josh does everything he can to correct issues when they arise. Most common issue was communication when multiple items where on the repair list. This shop is extremely busy with limited space for parking but parking is available in the lot next to it. The lifts and machinery used for repair are kept in very good shape. His waiting area is kept neat and clean. He has been known to do emergency repairs during off hours, but this is not a guarantee and depends on his own availability. Most of the other mechanics have been there as long as I have used the place. I have seen much more expensive cars there than mine, seems a lot of collectors and high end cars end up in his shop. The building itself doesn't look like much but the quality is there. The only thing I would encourage them to improve on is turn around time. Sometimes it seems like repair jobs take longer than they should if you leave the vehicle. Excellent Work! Reasonably priced! Great customer service! I took my Dodge Truck to the Diagnostic Shop based on the recommendation of another shop that works on my Honda cars. A/C had been acting up and suspected it was due to multiple issues. They quickly determined that I had a leaking service port and corrected that problem. I also suspected there was an issue with the compressor clutch since the A/C worked intermittently, but we needed to be sure the leak wasn't the issue. I picked up the truck and the A/C worked great. However, it stopped working later that morning. Called the shop and the told me to bring it back and they would put a technician on it immediately. They quickly determined the problem was within the compressor clutch and repaired it that afternoon and didn't charge me for the additional labor. In this day and age that is rare. Based on my experience, I highly recommend them.

This was my first time using Diagnostic Shop. I called on 9-24 and made an appointment for brake service. Josh made an appointment with me for 9-28 at 8:30. I left the truck with him and received a detailed proposal by 1:00 pm. I approved the proposed work and they stayed until 7:45 pm to complete it same day. He and his mechanics were thorough and easy to talk with. I look forward to doing business with this shop in the future.Services: Brake service & repair, Oil change

The transmission on our van went out a week ago, Wednesday (7/14). When trying to get the van to this shop on recommendation of another mechanic, it went out completely and had to be towed which means we didn't get to the shop until after it closed. We spoke with a mechanic on duty on the next day (7/15) who said he would look at it that night or the next morning because the owner was on vacation. We gave him until Monday (7/19) because they were very busy, and my wife went by on Tuesday (7/20) (almost a week later) to check on if they could get to it today to at least let us know what needs to be done. The owner spoke to my wife and was extremely unprofessional in his responses to her, refusing to even offer another suggestion for another mechanic, claiming she was being rude. She was shocked that he responded so rudely, claiming it was her. He told her to get the vehicle off his property this morning. I understand what he is saying, but when the business is closed for the night by the time we can get it towed there, and then go by the next day to speak to his mechanic, I thought that would be acceptable. Apparently, they are too busy for good customer service.

So I am not the type that will write a review. This is my first review ever. Josh is the man you hear me, I say the man!!!! I googled for a mechanic to take my car that was leaking coolant. I got there at 5:30pm which was exactly the time they close. Josh stayed back and worked on my car till 9:30/10pm. He would have rescheduled me say, come back tomorrow as it was time for him to close. I have never seen a mechanic that takes time to make sure your car is good to drive. Not only looking at the problem that brought you to the shop but other issues that might be related or might have caused the problem and anything he will want you to look into. Long story short!!!! This is the place to go. I am happy and will definitely take my car to Josh for anything. He is very knowledgeable and educates you the customer. You are not just sitting there but he tells you what is going on with your car. Shout out to Jerry, he works with Josh, nice guy.

Honest and friendly. Very informative. Strives to educate the consumer on what is happening with your vehicle as well as provide prompt fair service. Was there for an inspection and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Witnessed them explaining issues to multiple people in clear and easy to understand terms. Would recommend them. Shop was clean as was waiting area.

yeah maybe they're okay at oil changes and the important stuff but don't take your vehicle here for anything serious bc they either don't know what's going on or takes weeks.

I was helped by a gentleman named Joshua, I think. He was great at communicating and was very kind. He took time to explain what was done and what the next steps were. I'm often nervous about going to auto places because of past experiences at other places. Josh and Zach were both amazing. I know nothing about cars, and feel like I often get taken advantage of for that reason. Zach showed and explained everything in detail, and a detailed report was given to me. I can t thank these guys enough for making this a great experience. We have a 1988 Ford ranger pick up truck with 215,000 miles that my son and I we planned to drive to Wisconsin in in Mid November to his new home. Diagnostic Shop performed a very thorough inspection of the truck and fixed or replaced components as needed and performed maintenance as needed. We successfully made the 920 mile trip in two days arriving in Waunakee on November 23.. The truck's performance was excellent. Thank you. Mark Murphy

A bit disappointed, called prior for an inspection price and was quoted 1price however after they provided the service it was more for tint that was put on prior to me purchasing the vehicle new... manufactured, to my knowledge. I had never been charged prior for it. I didn t know about an extra fee.Would ve been nice to know about extra fee prior to completion of service especially being he knew i was the person that called just 3 minutes before arriving.

Went in to get a power steering issue checked on my car needless to say worse mistake ever took over a hour to get a diagnosis which I was charged $52 for but wasn t told about at the beginning, then received a overpriced estimate for $1260 without any real description of what s wrong with my car I contacted a friend who told me to contact the Ford dealership to check for a recall and sure enough my car was due for a Recall and these men told me absolutely nothing instead they where going to charge me $1260 for a Free recall repair smh!!! Please do not visit this shop unless you want to be scammed poor slow service and dishonest employees!!!!�
