As a female I am picky about who I take my car to (if you know, you know) I decided to come here on a whim and now this shop is my new go to. I requested some diagnostic work and Aaron was thorough and honest about what was going on. He involved me in the process 100% and didn t push me to buy anything. Everyone in the shop is enjoyable to talk to and work with and makes going to the mechanic fun.

I was in a tough spot with a brand new truck after picking up a bolt in my tire on the way home from work. I scrambled to find a spot late in the afternoon and these guys got me in right away. They were quick with the repair and talked me through their process as well. If you re ever in a pinch, or need a tire repair, then this is the place to go!!! Thanks guys

I've been going to Mavis Tires for almost 3 years now and they are the only shop in town I trust. From a general oil change to tires and struts the team never fails to provide detailed service, flawless communication, and great availability. You won't find a better price in town and it is accompanied by the best customer service in the state. Shoutout to Aaron for always breaking down my invoice and ensuring I understand what is going on, the education he provides is worth the trip by itself.

Took my suv in today to get two front tires replaced and a state inspection. My appointment was for 9. They had me in and out in 30 minutes. The staff was great and very friendly not to mention I now have a great much needed new set of tires as well plus the inspection done. I was also very glad to be able to get them both done at the same place instead of having to run around to two different places

Melissa was very kind to us. We found out our front pads, rotors, and tires needed to be changed due to our free brake check. It was really nice to know exactly what needed to be replaced. Thanks for the help!

Rude customer service. I called in and asked if they sold used tires on Sunday, March 12th at approximately 1052 AM. The lady on the phone said they do not sell used tires, they only sell new tires, and if I wanted to buy new tires, I could, and then proceeded to ask me what my tire size was. Them not selling used tires is fine, however, I was only looking for used tires at the time. So I replied by saying, "no thank you, I'm only interested in used tires at the moment." And this rude lady literally hung up on me mid sentence. If you can't do customer service and are rude then you probably shouldn't be working in customer service. Never experienced such disgusting horrible service in my life. First impressions are everything and they literally just shunned me from ever doing business with this company ever in the future.

Bought brand new tires,had alignment done,got some new struts. Cost a lot but job well done . I can tell difference in vehicles stability and ride performance alot better considering road conditions. AJ & Melissa team members and the other service members handled it well. Thanks

Last year I went through a rough break up and had a moment I thought my car was being tracked. Without hesitation or ridicule AJ had me bring my car in that day and the entire crew went over my car, giving me advice, and pointing out preventive measure I could take. I wasn't treated like I was crazy or overreacting, they simply looked it over, didn't charge me, and made sure I was alright before I left. Without a doubt this has to be the most informative, empathetic, and honest shop in town. Want your money's worth and more? AJ and his team will take care of you.

I called around for replacing all 4 tires, and by far Jim beat everyone s price! He was so helpful, and such a nice guy! I did not get the name of the girl behind the counter, but she was so friendly and helpful as well! Great staff! Would totally recommend Mavis Tire and Brakes to everyone! Thanks Jim for everything!

Jim was great. Went for an alignment, needed new tires, zero pressure and super transparent. Nice when I said no, and just as nice when I changed my mind and came back to get the tires. Trustworthy, clean and friendly, and great pricing means this is my new tire shop.

I was reading up on some reviews and i asked myself is this the same Mavis i always go to? Sure everyone is entitled to their own opinions but i can assure you this place is the best. The staff are passionate about the work they do so they treat your car as one of their own. I recently got my inspection done, failed one car because of my horn. My horn was messed up so thanks to the mechanic he explained what was wrong and gave me opinions to fix it. Today i got a tire fixed that was leaking air. They fixed it the right way rebalanced my tire and send me on my way with a smile. If you ever in this store look for Aaron he is really knowledgeable on everything and he always finds a solution to my car problems.

I like to give credit where credit is due rather its good or bad. This location, outside of my expectations, was terrible. Ive visited the location twice and I've only had experience with the manager. He was not pleasant to work with and long story short called me a liar when I stated to him his behavior the day before was unexceptable. To be honest, he behaved so poorly, I was shocked to hear that he was a leader in management. His attitude was terrible, he was dishonest and the store 's trash can is overflowing for the second day in a row which says a lot because the store is literally empty. I better understand why this location is no longer patronized as frequently as when others owned it.

This store right here is the best store in the whole city! AJ and his crew are amazing! Fast turnarounds and reasonable prices, I have tried other competitors and they never stood a chance against Mavis on Yopp Rd. Highly Recommend!!

Yikes not exactly what I came for today. Literally scheduled my appointment for my care service and got a quote for everything the day before. Came in today and the only thing that was in was tire replacement (which is one of the things I requested) but nothing else was scheduled and they had the parts for me and sold them to someone else knowing I had a set appointment time and date. I m not pleased on the service excuse not even any compensation was offered for the lack of work ethic displayed!! I do recommend them they do a great job on vehicles but today wasn t their day. Please fix this so that others don t run into the same issue!!

Very ironic how every time I take my vehicle there more is wrong with it after they look at it. Only to take it to another shop to get a second opinion to find that there is nothing wrong. Happened again today and proved it to them .. Snakes, if you ask me. Take your car to some reputable shop because this one isn t it

I quickly pulled in to their parking lot after discovering a nail in my tire. The man at the front helped me right away. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. Turns out the nail didn t go all the way through and they didn t even charge me for the visit. Will definitely be going there in the future!

I was getting ready to travel a long distance in my car and I noticed one of my tires was low. I made an appointment online. I walked right in and I received diamond customer service. Since there was nothing wrong with my tire there was no charge. They did inflate all my tires to the correct psi. Highly recommended

A.J. took care of everything on my work van as scheduled. He kept me informed of the progress of the repairs and was very knowledgeable. The techs were very professional and cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave the steering wheel or seat greasy. They also cleaned the wheel center covers as well. Top notch service in my book.

I've gone back and forth with giving a one or two star. So my girlfriend goes in to get an oil change. This location was the one who did the last one. Well she gets there around 8 and leaves around noon (per the invoice.) After about an hour which she was quoted she starts asking questions. Apparently the time before they had overtorqued the drain plug and were having issues taking it off. A supervisor supposedly decided to work on it in hopes not to cause further issue. They replaced the bolt and my girlfriend while not really happy, because there was no communication to her before any of this happened, went home. We were annoyed by the whole thing but didn't think it warenteed a review things happen and were just going to go on. Then today I take her car because I'm off work. I go to get it cleaned out when I noticed oil on the ground of our garage definitely coming from our oil pan. While looking I also notice her skid plate isn't bolted on? This was weird to me because they don't need to remove the skid plate to get to the drain plug. I surmise that they removed the skid when they were getting the overtorqued bolt off... Off I go to the shop Jim was decent to me and got a tech to take it in pretty quick and they look at it. Well the tech wants nothing to do with me actually watching what he's doing. He tightens the bolt (not with a torque wrench) cleans the area and let's it sit with cardboard under it. He gets angry at me for trying to get something to put in for the skid plate. I thought it was push pinned in because a push pin came out the skid plate and he instantly says it's bolted and we have no reason to remove it. Then he just walks away. Jim then goes to the customer lounge with the lube tech and another customer flags me down to tell me the tech and jim are talking about me. The customer stated the tech said "I'm gonna pop off if he says something else about the skid plate." (For I.D. purpose there were only two techs there and Jim the tech here was the one that could drive a manual the other one who seemed newer was currently learning) I feel like a crazy person typing this all out it's rather ridiculous. Thank you Jim for telling me the bolt size (they didn't have them to give and tech wasn't about to.) I hope tightening the drain plug fixes the problem if not I'll be back and I guess we'll go from there. I did ask Jim if they had some sort of wax seal to show that it wasn't lossened by me but he said they didn't. Honestly it's a shame I have to worry about that too. I had Jim print out a service page so it was documented I was there for this problem.
