I have been a frequent visitor to the Kia dealership in Jacksonville, NC, and unfortunately, my recent experiences have left much to be desired. Despite the initial appeal of their services, including promised quick cleaning, transportation options, and timely updates, the reality has fallen short consistently.During my most recent appointment, the service took an unexpectedly long duration, extending to a frustrating three hours beyond the quoted time. This delay significantly inconvenienced my schedule and disrupted my plans for the day. What's more disheartening is the lack of communication regarding the status of my vehicle during this prolonged wait. As a customer, I expected to be informed promptly about any delays or changes in the service timeline, but sadly, no such updates were provided.Moreover, the promised amenities such as quick cleaning service and transportation assistance were not even offered to me. It's disappointing to see the dealership fail to deliver on its commitments, leaving customers like myself feeling neglected and undervalued.While the staff at the dealership are generally courteous, the recurring issues with time management and communication have severely impacted my overall satisfaction with their services. As a loyal customer, I had hoped for a more efficient and customer-centric experience.In conclusion, my recent encounters at the Kia dealership in Jacksonville, NC, have been marred by prolonged wait times, lack of communication, and unfulfilled promises. Until significant improvements are made in these areas, I cannot recommend this dealership with confidence to others seeking reliable automotive services.

They were pretty fair on the price other than the dealership add-ons. There s about $1500 that they add to every vehicle as soon as it gets there in stuff that I don t care about

I can t speak on the sales side of the dealership (we didn t get the car there), but the service side is phenomenal. They were very patient and accommodating with my Mom s vehicle; it needed a new engine under the Kia engine settlement, and they set us up with an appointment to get it diagnosed pretty much right away.Another dealership gave us the runaround, and even told us we couldn t tow the vehicle in for service. We didn t run into anything like that with Stevenson; we actually had to reschedule our appointment, and they were very accommodating in doing so.

This dealership performed my new vehicle s first two services and I was disappointed both times. The first visit was for an oil change. The service department also performed a recall update without telling me (I was in the waiting room) which added a significant amount of time to the appointment. Before they finished servicing my vehicle, the entire service department left for lunch. I walked around the empty garage looking for someone to provide a status update. After finally finding a rep, they pulled a tech back from lunch who confirmed that my car was done, they just had not brought it to the front for me to claim. The service rep tried to make me feel guilty by telling me that he and the technicians had not yet eaten lunch. I pointed out that I was likewise unable to eat lunch while sitting in the Kia Service waiting room.During my second visit I arrived 10 minutes prior to my 0745 appointment time for another factory recall. Twenty minutes after my appointment time (30 minutes after arrival) they pulled my car into the garage for service. Again, I waited unnecessarily for a scheduled service.The work on my car appears to be performed satisfactorily, but with no regard for the customer s time. I recommend seeking services from another dealership if you can make the drive.

If I could give this dealership ZERO stars I would! The customer service is absolutely terrible. We are out of state and explained it would be a 4 hour ride to their location and wanted to make this process as easy as possible. We had cash on hand and were ready to make a deal, we show up to the dealership and there were so many flaws in the vehicle that they never disclosed. Even the battery was corroded and they refused to replace it, the list goes on and on. Prior to our arrival the sales person Chevy we dealt with only communicated through text message only calling us ONE time to tell us there was no movement on the price.No to mention their website shows they are military friendly, they made it very clear they are not.I will never buy from this dealer or recommend anyone to even contact them.

Casey was excellent. He met all my needs in picking out my car. Everything I asked for in my car he made sure I had it and more. He was very pleasant and took his time. He even checked on me after my purchase. Casey was the best sales representative I've ever dealt with when purchasing a vehicle. Casey did a great job but the guy who handle the money was horrible and rude. Had it not been for how pleasant and hardworking Casey was in make sure I got a great deal on what I wanted I would have pulled out on the deal. But like I said, Casey exceeded my expectations and that's what kept me at Kia. Glad I got the Telluride and not the Palisade. Customer service means everything to me. Thank you Casey for your great service in helping me pick out my vehicle and getting a great deal. If you are looking to buy a car, go check Casey out at Jacksonville Kia in NC. The drive is well worth it for great customer service from the sales rep and a great deal is always a super plus.

I love this dealership!!They are always very attentive to any needs for my vehicle.and they usually are able to get my vehicle in according to my work schedule. My only complaint is that I am so far away it is a long drive.

All around great car buying experience. We had the opportunity to work with the sales representative Casey who was awesome! He was incredibly knowledgeable, super nice, and we never felt pressured during the entire process. He knew every little detail about the Kia Sorento which made us really comfortable buying from him. We had an appointment scheduled down at the Wilmington Kia later that day, but ended up canceling it as they made us so happy here in Jacksonville. Would highly recommend Casey.

Took my Kia Soul in for a recall to upgrade the ignition switch. When I left, the USB input on my stereo no longer worked properly. They said that nothing that they did would have caused the problem but they could diagnose it for $175.00. I reluctantly agreed. They determined that the USB port and wiring needed to be replaced - $415 just for the parts. I declined and begrudgingly paid the $200 bill ($175 plus shop supplies). When I got home, a quick google search revealed a reset button on the stereo. I pressed it and the stereo work perfectly again. I returned to the dealer but they refused to budge on the $200 bill when all someone needed to do was take 2 seconds and press the reset button before they wasted any time incorrectly diagnosing the problem. They've seen the last of my money.

Since buying a 2015 Kia Soul in 2016 I have had ups and downs and mixed feelings about the service department at Jacksonville Kia. Without judging I went in today with an oil change coupon for 29.99 for an oil change from Kia. Fine print turned out I had to use synthetic and pay 49.99. Also was first person in line at 730, they asked if I would wait or take the shuttle. I asked if they would get it in right away: response yes . One of the posted pictures is my car still sitting in service aisle at 752am. Honestly quickly finished after that but I was there until almost 900am for an oil change plus what eventually also required a tire rotation. I would have taken the shuttle had I known. Overall I can t really complain because they take care of my car but they aren t afraid to make money.

Title: Frustrated with Kia of Jacksonville's Service DepartmentI've encountered numerous disappointments with the customer service at Kia of Jacksonville's Service Department, pushing me to consider other options for my vehicle's service needs. I find myself visiting them only for specific Kia recalls or engine issues. Over the last six months, I reached out on four different occasions with questions about my vehicle's problems or warranty coverage. Each time, the response was that the service manager was unavailable.The first time, I waited eagerly for a callback that never came. Days passed without a word. Despite repeated calls to the scheduling department asking for an update, I got nothing. Frustrated, I took my vehicle elsewhere and resolved the warranty issues through another business without Kia's help.This pattern repeated itself three more times, most recently just after Christmas. Even after mentioning the unreturned calls, there was no change in their approach. It seems they're indifferent to keeping their commitments. If there's no intention to follow through, it's better not to promise callbacks at all.And then there's the issue of their pricing. They charge about 20% more than other shops for the same services. Given the customer service I've experienced and their pricing strategy, it would be unreasonable for me to continue doing business with them.To be fair, I've never had complaints about the quality of their service work; it's the customer service and pricing that deter me, forcing me to use them only when absolutely necessary for recalls or Kia-specific issues.Adding insult to injury, after getting a recall fixed, I've been inundated with texts asking for a review. The irony of them seeking feedback, yet ignoring my attempts to communicate, is not lost on me. These texts have become a daily nuisance over the past three days. I have been meaning to take the time to write this review many time over the last couple of months, but their anoying repeated texts have sparked me to take the time to do it. Oddly enough its been nearly a month since I had the work done and the texts just started recently.There was a period, about two years ago, when the experience was notably better, thanks to a team member named Justin. His departure seems to have marked a decline in the quality of customer interactions, leaving a palpable unfriendly atmosphere in the service department. I no longer feel valued as a customer but rather as an annoyance.If I were the owner of the dealership and aware of such customer treatment, I'd take immediate action. The management at Kia needs to address this issue promptly. High-quality service can justify premium prices, but without it, customer loyalty is impossible to maintain.I'm sharing my experiences here to alert others about potential challenges with Kia of Jacksonville. Hopefully, this review will prompt the management to reevaluate their customer service practices. Offering good service and reasonable prices isn't an unreasonable expectation. Kia of Jacksonville has a lot of work to do if they hope to regain the trust of customers like me.

I got three cars at the same time. The store manager is very friendly and sales manager. Rachel is very helpful for all issues. I m still working with her to get more cars. I recommend her.

I had a 10:15 appointment and I arrived 30min. early. During check in. It was decided that an OBD would be covered by the car dealership that sold me the car and that they had an account. While waiting, I noticed that they are fully staffed and they had plenty of time on cell phones and chatting with each other. At no time did anyone including the management speak w/out being spoken to. No problem because I have a car right. After an hour of waiting for an OBD, I was told that they found the problem and notified the dealership. After another hour of waiting, I asked to speak with management. With No service work done and they acted like they'd have to close the doors if an OBD wasn't paid before I could leave. Really poor customer service. Why advertise when you don't take care of the people in the store.

Salesman was new and did not know what he was talking about. Clearly lying about fees and cars that were available. The car we went to look at wasn't there. He said it was being worked on. We asked to see it anyways and then he said it was sold. Asked about another car and he scoffed at us as if it was too good for us. Manager wouldn't budge on price and salesman seemed noticeably irritated. We walked out and bought our car at another dealership.

Took my Sorrento in for servicing of the 3 recalls. The Dealership is Pet Friendly. They provided dog treats, water and friendly people. I was offered and received an Uber to and from My appointment. No lingering waiting. No unnecessary extra concerns to fix.Overall, a great visit.

Our granddaughter found a vehicle on-line that was located at capital kia in Jacksonville. My husband and I went with her to look- drive it and we were met at the door by Mike. Thank you Mike he was kind, knowledgeable and very patient. He was honest and trustworthy. Anyone looking to purchase a vehicle should go speak with Mike.

AVOID THIS PLACE FOR ANY VEHICLE MAINTENANCE.Dealing with the countless communication issues for two weeks and a complete lack of professionalism, especially with service manager Robbie Castro, left me beyond frustrated. I had no choice but to insist on a refund and take my business elsewhere.If you choose to overlook this comment , ensure that you validate the completion of any maintenance tasks and don't merely accept a charge without confirmation.

If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. The associates dismiss your concerns and never follow through. They told me for over a week they would send photos of a car I was interested in. They wanted me to commit to scheduling an appointment time to come in, although, I said I wanted to see photos before driving all the way there. I live more than an hour away.. Long story short, 3 different people were texting me and nobody ever sent the photos. Very unprofessional and complete sales driven. Extremely dismissive and disregard anything you say. They should be ashamed of their customer service, how embarrassing.

We had a 10+ experience with Stevenson Kia of Jacksonville! The manager, Chris Hodges was super responsive and we never had to send questions twice. Access to telephone was hard for us, so we did it all by email, and that can be frustrating when people don't answer emails. Again, Chris and his team were amazing! We highly recommend Stevenson Kia of Jacksonville!

Absolutely horrible customer service. They are lazy and barely talk to you. We came in there to trade our vehicle in and buy another one. The first salesman barely acknowledged that we were there. The so called manager that looked at vehicle didn t stop to talk to us or anything. Went and drove our car around the parking lot and came back in. Did not stop and say anything to us or acknowledge we were there. Then they gave us a very low trade in value of $1,500. Everyone else has give us at leave $6,600 or more. Even Carmax gave us a good trade in value. We and everyone we know will never go there again.
