Brandon and his staff are top notch. I was in a tight bind to ship a car and on short notice, had my car checked out and he took care of the issue! Very honest and dependable. Definitely recommend him for any and all transmission work!!! Thx again!!!

Never again, first time service was not done properly as i had to return to have a leak fixed. Second time customer service was terrible we made an appointment first thing in morning and confirmed this, which later found out it was first come first serve we were the first ones in the door then the story changed again, then we were told it takes nearly 5 hours to cool down to perform a service as an experienced tech this was a complete lie. We were looking for a good shop when our schedules become busy however after this poor interactions of repeated issues we will never return.

Was very quick. Only delays were waiting my place in line. Very fair and truthful, so I could make an informed decision. Being an older woman I appreciate the honesty. I had to weigh my options, was it worth the cost. Afterspeaking to Brandon, he brought up some really good pros VS. Cons. It helped me solidify my decision to "get er' done".From transmission procurement to installation, it was lightning speed. I picked up my vehicle and I have to return to have a 10 day check up for after care. Along as Brandon is here, I will send everyone here.Service: Transmission

Never again. My sons truck sat two days and when I finally got through to someone they said oh we couldn t find anything wrong, keep driving it and bring it back if you have issues well the truck had issues. Big time. Had we kept driving it it would have been worse. Took it somewhere else (a family owned place off Piney Green, Crom) immediately felt better about the quality of the services. This is NOT the same great AAMCO it once was. Don t waste your time.

I waited a few days before leaving the review, and after 300 miles I see that they did an excellent job on my clutch repair and brakes.Excellent turnaround time as well! I actually think the clutch operates better than when I first bought the vehicle brand new, especially in the first two gears on this manual Subaru..Services: Transmission repair, BrakesServices: Transmission repair, Brakes

I just want to say I am very blessed to have dealt with this business. I had a mechanic before I brought my car here "working" on my car for a year and half. That mechanic had done nothing to my car, but let it sit for so long. I wish I took my car here sooner because they are very honest and diagnosed every problem my car had within 3 days. The whole team is amazing and honest. I had talked to a manager Brandon specifically that was very forward and pleasant to talk to. I wish that I could give them money for diagnosing my car and the time they spent, but was kindly refused due to a policy they have. I will be using this business because I trust them unlike every other mechanic in town.Service: Transmission

We had an appointment, that was not on the books, took several days to even find out what was wrong, then a few more days to replace the transmission. The cost was more that we expected. They were pleasant and kept us up-to-date with what was happening with our truck.

My clutch burned up and I was recommended to AAMCO by Jeb at Liberty Tire to Brandon. I needed my car fixed as fast as possible and they were very accommodating. Highly recommend if you need any engine repairs at all done. I was without my vehicle for 8 months due to the transmission. I called and spoke with Mr. Chase about the matter and without hesitation he agree to take on the job.He was extremely professional from beginning to the end. He explained the cost and the amount time it would take to complete the repairs.I had my vehicle back in approximately 2 weeks and all the work that was done was backed with a warranty.Mr.Chase and his team did an amazing job. Everyone was super courteous and open to any questions I had during the process. Friendly and affordable service, I would recommend them to anyone without a shadow of doubt.They truly went above and beyond and made me feel like top priority. Staff went above and beyond my expectations. Spoke with Brandon he was patient, knowledgeable, understanding, accommodating to my need to have my car towed since I am not from NC I put all my trust in him and this facility and was not disappointed until the next day when I had another issue despite the previous service this was unavoidable I was attended to by the owner Chase again my car was towed by the facility and I was driven home the issue was fixed within 24hrs. All prices were quoted to me prior to work being done. Customer service was outstanding. From the time I arrived Chase greeted me and was so friendly and professional. Everyone else was so friendly. I had my transmission serviced and I couldn t think of a better place to go. They got my van back and serviced and was done in a timely manner. George kept me company and sat and chatted. I will be back, and I will be recommending them to anyone that needs work. Charlie was a good friend and I did allot of bussiness with he and George and now these young men are just as good of character as they were. They helped a friend who was in a bad way with sincere advice and did top quality repair at a very fair price. She had just recently lost her husband who for 30 years had handled all of the mechanical emergencies and she has no mechanical knowledge and was so worried about being taken advantage of. These young men treated her as family just like Charlie would have . Well he raised one of em so, thanks Charlie for being not just a good friend and a fair bussinessman, but also for being a great father and raising a son with a heart for people to go along with his head for bussiness

Very customer satisfaction oriented. I had a power train policy and they argued to have the insurance company cover the repair. They got the authorization and less than a week later I had a brand new transmission. I ll be back with my truck ( no insurance) to get a repair that I was putting off. I called them up to see if they would be able to check CVT Fluid in my daughters Jeep and the gentleman on the phone said to bring it by the next day. So I proceeded to AAMCO the next morning and promptly they took it in. Found out it was two quarts over! They drained it to the correct level and sent me on my way. Didn t charge me for the guy s time or anything. Great interaction with them. Trusted name for a reason.Service: Transmission

After a hard decision to go with what transmission shop I chose amaco. They told me what they offered and said they would match monster transmissions warranty. 3yr.unlimited mile. Within 1.5 yr of driving I had takin it back 3 times. The final time they could not see where the warranty was and of course I couldn't locate the receipt pamphlet they give you. I was not satisfied with work. After they did the work I put it on my personal lift and noticed bolts missing..some breather lookin hose hanging..they used my same crush nut for the diff seal swap and cause the ring and pinion to collide and cost me a new one..also said they would upgrade the cooler didn't charge me but didn't install.. Why didn't I go back?? I didn't feel like arguing the point. The customer service was ok but quality of workers that completed my job ..not good I have since spent another 4000 on a new trans and had no problems.

Don't take your car to them if you want it back fixed or want it back they keep your car for an extended time then when you get it back things that worked before don't work no more lights come on that shouldn't and they say well we only have 2 mechanics well stop taking people automobiles if you can't do the work.and don't have anything shipped to them all the pieces won't be put on if any.serial numbers may not match after they get a hold of it.

They have done all they could to find out whats wrong with my car. They did a courtesy check on all my sensors and computer codes as well. They did not give up and its one of those things that is hard to pinpoint since no codes are showing and nothing coming up from general check. They were understanding about my frustration with timeliness and did not rip me off. Customer service was good too. The guy Chad even told me I could borrow his car if mine cut off on my birthday.

Chase helped us out with our 2016 Chevy Traverse. We were having transmission issues and these guys went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We were originally diagnosed with a completely shot transmission from a different shop, would have cost $4,500+. So we took it here for a 2nd look and turns out it was just an electrical issue and only cost us $125 for the hour of labor to fix it. Highly recommend to others.

The people at aamco in Jacksonville North Carolina worked as hard as I did to with my warranty company to get my transmission replaced they fought every day and thank them very much for completing the job and now I have a brand new transmission okay. Okay make sure it's right I'll give them a five star any day.

I wasn't really even sure what was going wrong with my car - I was sent here by a recommendation and was treated well the entire time. The team figured out what was going wrong, we schedule a time to fix up my van and I was back driving sooner than I thought. Great service. Great people.
