I have been bringing all of my vehicles to the Indian Trail store over the last several years. The crew has always been friendly, knowledgeable and speedy. I'm not sure what has happened with the old crew and crew leader I have come to appreciate, but my most recent experience was terrible with the new crew. I brought a vehicle in for a State Inspection on Sat 3/30 at 2:30 PM. At 4:00 PM, after waiting 90-minutes, and 30-minutes with no one in front of me, I finally left without the inspection. The one guy doing inspections was very rude and completely ignored me and my vehicle for 30-minutes. He gave no apologies and no acknowledgment of wasting my time. Fortunately I was able to go over to the Sun Valley location and they got me in and out in less than 30-minutes. I will never return to the Indian Trail store.

Usually very professional and kind with a nice atmosphere but the atmosphere today was very tense mostly due to an employee (or maybe the manager, although I ve never seen him there) having a weird conversation with another employee. From what I could tell it was a disrespectful conversation, and one that if it was truly an issue should probably have been had in private away from customers but the topic of the conversation was the young man who seems to always be there when I pass by and it might be a personal preference or opinion but employees work better when they re encouraged and in a good environment. Safe to say if I see that older man again I will avoid maintenance done, if they can be that disrespectful to employees, I d rather not imagine what they are to customers.

I got to the store at 6:40 pm. The bays were closed and the door was locked. They were supposed to be open until 7:30 pm. Two men were there but I was told that they couldn't change my oil because there wasn't enough staff. One guy asked me why I showed up last minute even though I was there 50 minutes before they were supposed to close. I asked him his name and he said, "You don't need to know my name" he was very rude and called me "Karen" because I was upset that they were closed 50 minutes before they were supposed to be. I was sent to that location from the one on Idlewild because they didn't have the filter for my car. I had an employee from there on the phone who heard my side of the conversation and can attest that, other than being angry, I wasn't out of line.I'm calling the regional manager tomorrow but if you need your oil changed, definitely go to the one on Idlewild. They are extremely friendly and actually care about their customers.

First time here and loved it! Was able to stay in the car with the kids which was convenient for me and fun for them. Speaking of fun, the crew was very happy, polite, and seemed like they were having a good time. It was awesome!

Keshawn what is his name I believe was really nice and helpful and very respectful and nice. He did my oil change and my car runs really good because I personally do not know how to do my oil change and he told me everything that he was going to do and he did just as he really really recommend this place very nice staff especially with the employee named Keshawn He was very nice and helpful.

Never coming here again.Oil change was perfect.They didn t have my oil and couldn t change my fuel filter because of company policy. So I went to the auto store next door and bought oil and it was perfectly fine, no issues here.My problem is that I drove 15 minutes down the road and when I stopped I saw my under panel hanging off on the front. So strike one.I call and say I ll be back and I want them to put it back in and they say no problem. I arrive and the blonde kid zip ties the front of the panel to keep it up. I get on the floor to check it and let him know the sides of the panel have to be pushed into place for it to stay correctly. So strike two.He says some threads are missing and I say its fine I can buy more later but that the panel was on correctly when I came here even with missing threads.He goes back down to try to get it correct and the pictures are the results. I checked it before I left and decided it wasn t worth it to ask him to fix it a third time because he clearly wasn t doing it right. HE BOLTED MY UNDER-PANEL BACK IN. Strike three. I didn t see the bolts til today when I got home.Absolutely not happy with my service.Service: Oil change

I ve had REALLY horrible experiences at other locations so I was extremely hesitant to try again, but I decided to call ahead. I asked a few questions and arrived within the hour. This location of employees was super professional and did not attempt to upsell or suggest any unnecessary repairs. They simply did what I needed which was for my state inspection. Thanks!

Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!Do not come to this place unless you want your skid plate hanging after oil change with broken parts and also try to be scammed by the guys working there. Should I say they also don t know what they are doing at all and costumer care just doesn t exist. Manager is rude and unprofessional! And they fix damages with zip ties!Will never come back to this place. Read all reviews before going here I m not the only one that got screwed over!

2 hours. For an oil change. Because someone couldn't figure out how to put a belt back on.... NOT ON MY VEHICLE. 3 bays were stopped to a crawl because of this. Poor woman was there for close to 3 hours. Why not look on the google machine for a how-to.... I bet I could've found one. Yes, I should have left but was trying to be patient and, at some point, just decided I committed too much time to start over somewhere else.

Did not go here for service. They may be fantastic. I dont know. My issue is, my 70 year old mother got a flat on 74 and pulled into the KFC. Their parking lot neighbors the rear of Valvolines parking lot. She sat there for 40 minutes til I was able to get there. Not one Valvoline employee asked if she needed help. There were at least 3 or 4 guys hanging out in the back the entire time I was there. My point is, as a fellow mechanic, I would have noticed a woman alone in an empty parking lot parked across 3 spots with an obviously flat tire and offered to help. I know it's not their "job" because she wasn't in their lot but c'mon. Had they offered to help they probably would have gained a customer for life with my mother. But they didn't. They just stood there and watched her try to pull a spare tire out on her own. So maybe think twice before you spend your money there. There's plenty of shops around with skilled mechanics that actually care about people.

On my first visit I was pleasantly surprised with how efficient, knowledgable, friendly the young staff and manager were. They did not pressure me into extra services but showed me up front what services I might need next time. Being late on a Friday afternoon it was a longer wait than I had anticipated but that did not deter from me wanting to return.

Waited 30 minutes and left after no one even greeted me or let me know if there was a long wait. There was one lady in front of me who finally was spoken to about her needs. The person who helped her then left and then everyone was ignored. I understand being busy or even short staffed but the courtesy of greeting a customer and simple communication is seriously lacking.

I'm one of those people who works all the time and it isn't easy for me to find somewhere that is open, when I am off. Twice I have called them with a last minute rush and they accommodated! Anyone else would have closed their doors in my face. I am a rock solid loyal fan because of it!They were nice, polite, and professional as well. Absolutely love this shop!

I took my car to the Indian Trail location to get an oil change April 18th. After the oil change. I left there and within 10 minutes I was going down the road and I heard something scrubbing the road under my car. I pulled over and saw something under my car hanging. I took my car to the closest location to get it looked at and they told me the cover was not put on correctly and it was about to break off, Did they want me to take it off? I instructed them to take it off. They called then in indian trail location to let them know what happened. I call customer care to put in A incident report . The next day the manager called and said they had ordered the part for my car and they would let me know when it came in. 2 and a 1/2 weeks later I called Customer care to get an update on my part. They had told me that the part was delivered a week and a 1/2 ago but No one at the store ever called me. I I went to the store to get the plate cover put back on my car and they informed me they ordered the wrong part I then called customer care and informed them I would like Volkswagen to order my part and Volkswagen to put it on. They told me that they would have the General manager call me. Still no phone call or update and it's been a week. I Have been dealing with this for over a month now this is poor customer service and it's unacceptable. I just want my car fixed.Service: Oil change

Jordan was super nice. Very friendly and helpful. Manager was lame.If you're in customer service/retail and someone says "Good morning, how are you doing today"? You never respond with "I'm here...*goofy laugh*". That's bs. Horrible greeting to a paying customer.

Not much help at all.. go up there all the time and a dude told me there s nothing he can do, he asked me for papers that no one else asks for, y all lost a loyal good customer.. who gonna pay ur bills now. All I needed was a transmission oil change. I ll go elsewhere to find what I am looking for! Demolish the building and have take 5 built!Service: Transmission

Wait times are usually longer than expected for the amount of work being performed. There are times where the equipment needed for a state inspection is down. Staff communication is poor. I don't like to give bad reviews though what I've mentioned in this one is consistent at this facility.

I did not go here. I change my own oil to save money. This place offers to change oil for a fee. They likely do a good job but I'm not 100% sure since I didn't use their services.

This was a very enjoyable oil change. There were three technicians working and they were working through all the cars in the bays and working well together. They also have cameras and a monitor so you can see what they are doing to your car while you're sitting in your vehicle. They called out everything they were doing which I thought was cool. All three were polite and very professional. Will definitely be back to this location. Awesome job!!!!
