These folks were close to home and looked like they had a good reputation, which can be rare when it comes to mechanics, sad to say. I had a check engine light on after leaving my car to be repaired by another mechanic. I was quoted $700 by the mechanic who had worked on my car and handed it back to me with the check engine light on. Union Automotive found a blown fuse and saved me $700 bucks as well as some satisfaction that I wasn't giving my money to a scumbag. Super glad I found these guys... as honest as they come... beyond honest and super nice and friendly. Saved my butt! Thanks again! I'll be back.

The folks at Union Automotive Services are the REAL DEAL! They are honest and extremely competent and knowledgeable. They have a loyal new customer in me!! Wendy is your primary point of contact and is a lovely person.I give this fine establishment SIX stars!

Dave and Wendy are exceptional people. Dave is a mechanic you can trust to be honest, fair, and to work harder than any mechanic has ever worked on the history of your car. If you don't take your car to Dave, you should just give your car away and ride a bicycle. No one will do a better job with more speed, honesty, integrity, and more amazing customer service than Dave. Wendy, his office manager, is one heck of a great lady. She deeply cares and will treat you like you're her best friend and as if she know she's known you forever the second you walk in the door. I don't care where I live in the state of North Carolina. I will drive 48 hours if I have to, or have my car towed 800 Miles, but no one in this state will ever touch any car I own, but Dave.

I have been going to Dave for many years. He is very honest and trustworthy. He really knows his stuff too lol.. This is definitely the place to go for any of your car care needs! He's the best!!

By far HANDS DOWN BEST MECHANICS that I've ever been to. Dave, the owner is so nice, he and Ben (mechanic)are both extremely knowledgeable and helpful! They ARE NOT in the business of ripping people off.... very fair/good pricing. They get the job done quickly and efficiently. They also do inspections!! I RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE WHO NEEDS ANY CAR MECHANIC WORK DONE!!

I've been going here for 7 or 8 years. I have a Saturn, and my car LOVES them. I've never had to take it back for the same problem twice. They have always fixed it right the first time. The owner, Dave, is totally awesome. He's willing to work with my needs throughout the entire process & always gets me back on the road quickly.

With so many automotive shops around when you find a guy like Dave who actually takes the time to make sure you're happy you know you have found your shop. He does way more than I even expected and he's always done a great job and with prices that are half of others we've had quoted.

I would give Union Automotive 10 stars if it was possible. I appreciate their good work. I appreciate their honesty. If you don't need a repair you think you do, they won't just take your money and do it. I appreciate their simple human kindness and how they treat all customers with respect no matter how much you know about cars. Go to Union Automotive and talk to Dave and find out why they have so many great reviews!

As usual David is amazing. His whole staff is great but I just usually see him. I really appreciate the fact that he only fixes things that need to be fixed. He doesn t just amazingly find things wrong with your car that truly don t need fixing. You know what I am talking about. He is an honest mechanic and just a genuine person!! I moved farther away from him but I still make the effort to go to him.

My go to place. I have been coming to them for years. I stay near the Ballentyne area, but I still make the drive here because I trust them. Whenever I need a quick inspection or repairs, these guys know how to do it. Really nice, friendly. Reasonable prices and won't jerk you around. Dave and his crew will take care of you and your car needs.

In today s world it s hard to find a decent and honest mechanic.Owner David Cunningham is a fantastic mechanic and has been in the business for at least 30 years.You won t get better service or prices anywhere in Charlotte.

Was referred here by a family friend, they did amazing work at a affordable price. Dave and his employees we're all very nice and I definitely will be back there again. I definitely recommend Union Automotive for your car needs. Thanks again Dave I greatly appreciate it

My Truck broke down about a mile away from the shop. I towed it here to Union Auto. The next day they quoted me to fix the ball joint which had broken. About 5 hours later the truck was fixed and they billed me $20 less than quoted. Truck now handles great. I had a great experience here and would recommend Dave and his shop to anyone.

I have heard about from a colleague of mine who has been going to him for a several years and he never over charges and gives a very honest and accurate diagnosis. While the chain stores will write up every small little thing for labor and parts .. Dave only advises what is needed and does not advice just because he will get parts and labor. A local , reliable and expert mechanic.

Dave is a mechanic that will never do you wrong. All you ladies out there being taken advantage of by mechanics that gauge u...NO WORRIES WITH DAVE. He is honest, reliable and always willing to help.His staff is excellent! He will never do you wrong and never overprice parts or labor. As a granddaughter of the first owner of an auto shop in charlotte, I recommend Union Automotive to everyone!

The only repair shop I go to. Always honest, never fix more than necessary and will talk through all repairs before committing to anything. They will do their best to fix what they can before ordering be parts. I had an oil leak in an older car, they offered to patch it instead of eating the money on a new part for a car that wouldn't last another year.

My timing belt had snapped on night while going home. I had towed it to another mechanic who told me that all my valves were bent and I needed a new engine. I towed it to Union to get a second opinion and they put a timing belt on it to truly see what damage was done. They found no valve damage or anything and put a new timing belt kit on and made her run like a brand new car. I would highly recommend them as they don't try to upsell you or anything. They tell you what you need to do now and what can wait, which is hard to find nowadays. I know I will definitely be going back whenever I need something done to my car.

This business is exceptionally great. They perform a to z maintenance to any vehicle. Also installs exhaust , alignments, tires. Affordable prices and back up their work.

Took my Mazda CX-7 in for power steering noise and they had it fixed in a few hours. They were friendly and no surprises.
