I went to Ace's Automotive for a possible transmission rebuild or replacement in my 2007 Toyota Tundra. After a week of diagnosis, he told me there was nothing wrong with the transmission and that he would recommend a transmission fluid change, no flush. After picking up the truck, it shifts perfect!! These guys are VERY honest!! I would recommend these guys to ANYONE for honest mechanic repair!

Chris knows vettes and did a great job figuring out what needed to be done to get me fixed up and safely back on the road. Glad he's able to work on vettes as well as other vehicles. I'll be back.

I just want to say, that I needed a Corvette specialist for my 47k 1992 LT1 Corvette. Chris was recommended by a local car club. My car had a hesitation issue when I accelerated. I also had Chris replace several other parts on the vehicle as preventative maintenance. Chris was very honest and knowledgeable. He sourced out GM parts etc..the car runs great and now feels like a Corvette.The only place I would bring my Vette.

I originally called Ace's automotive to do a wheel alignment on my Corvette based strictly on the amount of perfect reviews on google.While on the call, I realized they specialize in Corvettes and boy did I make the right choice.Chris was honest, and did an amazing job getting the alignment issue figured out that other shops only seemed to make worse.I will absolutely be using Ace's again for not only my vette but our other cars as well.Service: Wheel alignment

I've usually always brought my vehicles to the GMC/Cadillac dealership but Aces Automotive was recommended by some friends and these guys have been nothing short of amazing. They do incredible work, they're fairly priced, and they'll perform exactly the work you ask without trying to upsell or make it difficult like most places. Britney at the front desk and Chris the owner/mechanic are great. I have been going to Chris for years and he's the best in town. I had to visit him recently for my son's brakes and he was able to fit us in which I was so thankful for! Chris takes extreme pride in his work and I never leave feeling pressured to fix something else as I have in the past with other shops. As the owner of a 2005 Corvette, I was impressed at how quickly and thoroughly Chris was able to diagnose and get repairs completed. Chris is a highly knowledgeable automobile repair technician who thoroughly explained what was needed and quoted a fair price before starting the work. Great service. Friendly owner. Very knowledgeable; reasonably priced and does great work. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for help with their automotive repair needs. From an oil changes and inspections and full on repairs and overhauls, or any time the check engine light comes on - Aces Automotive will take care of you!

Chris was awesome! Super nice and helpful. My Corvette overheated and left me stranded on a road trip. Chris understood my situation and got me in and repaired fast. Great work at a fair price. If you own a Corvette (like I do), Aces is the place to go. I will trust Aces over any Chevrolet dealership! Highly knowledgeable of the platform, high quality work, flexibility with appointments, great hospitality, and reasonable prices. Just give them a try, and confirm by yourselves. A++

If you care about the Corvette you own then have it serviced by Chris at Aces Automotive. Chris is a Corvette specialist with years of experience and knowledge. After putting up with lackluster dealership service it is such a breath of fresh air to have someone like Chris to keep your car running perfectly. No more dealership woes after putting my car into the hands of an expert and Corvette owner. Trust Chris because he s the best!

I highly recommend Aces. I only wish I had discovered this shop years before now. Chris was great to work with. Very knowledgeable, professional and fair with his pricing. On short notice, he got our SUV road worthy for our trip to FL (even polished out a paint scratch as an extra level of service). Most impressive of all is that he followed up with a phone call a few days later to make sure everything had gone well on our drive.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair

(2019) I have been here for oil changes and front brake replacement amongst other things. Chris is the owner and he is FANTASTIC. Not only extremely responsive and caring but quick, too. He's taken care of my van and I come from a family of mechanics, so when I moved down here from Connecticut I was skeptical of finding someone I can trust. I highly recommend coming here for your car needs because so many mechanics out there are bogus. He's going to be honest with you and give you a fair price. Your safety is important and he cares about it!Editing my review:(2022) Although Chris is nice, he s gotten very very busy and difficult to get ahold of. I ve emailed him several times and called with no answer. The last time I dropped off my car when he said he could get to it, he had it for three days, couldn t duplicate the issue apparently. I don t know, I m thinking he s just too busy. I have to get my car fixed somewhere else now.

I've used Aces for many years for several of my cars and well as my son's and my wife's cars. Started coming here years ago with my old Jeep TJ when Chris was recommended to me by the guys from Performance Rover and then just kept coming. I think the many positive reviews on here speak for themselves: Chris is doing fantastic work, is an honest man and charges fair prices. Over the past 8 years I have had Chris from ACE Automotive Repair work on all my vehicles. I found ACE by chance. I have to say one of the best finds I have ever had. I believe Chris is a top notch mechanic. His prices are fair. Always communicates what the issues are and of course cost before any work is done. There are never any surprises when you pick up your vehicle. Chris takes pride in the work he does.I m more than a satisfied customer and would recommend ACE Automotive Repair to any one.Thank you Chris for 8 years of keeping me on the road.

We ve used Chris and ACES Automotive for years. We left for about a year when we bought cars to have the dealer service while under warranty. We re back now and I couldn t be happier. Chris is honest, knowledgeable, answers my questions thoroughly and does solid quality work. I never worry once ACES has serviced our cars. I know the job is quality and they stand behind their work. I've been bringing my cars to Chris for inspections and repairs for years. I can depend on him to do quality work and apprise me of any mechanical issues. On my last pickup truck NC inspection, I did not realize my rear brake pads were down to the metal and were grinding. Chris called me for approval to replace them. Being the trust worthy mechanic he is, he showed me the brake pads when I picked up the vehicle. I can immediately tell the difference driving the truck from the pedal height and braking action. Normally I'm vigilant doing visual checks of my vehicles rotors and pads. I'm glad Chris had my back on this issue.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

My family and I have been going to Aces for over five years now. We've had nothing but great experiences with Chris the owner and his crew. Even with small things like oil changes and check-ups, Chris always takes time to go over issues he's found with our vehicles. Not knowing much about cars, that's something I appreciate. Service is fast and the cost is reasonable. Good people, great service.

Aces Automotive was such a great experience. Took my Jeep in to get a headlight electrical issue repaired that the dealer could not figure out. In just a short amount of time with help from there best technician Chris, they were able to figure out the issue and had it repaired. I highly recommend them for all of your repair needs.

I've been taking my car vehicle to Aces for the past 3 years now. Chis and his team are my new auto mechanics. Chis is a laid back, stand-up kind of guy. Very honest and reliable. I can count on him to tell me the truth and give me the best price for parts and service. Not only is the service reliable, but it's also fast, yet efficient...Chris fits me in on my lunch break for my oil changes! I've recommended both family and friends to Aces because I know they won't be disappointed or overcharged for the service provided.

My husband and I have been bringing our cars here for the past couple years. Chris and his team are always quick to call back and very helpful and knowledgeable. I've taken my PT Cruiser to him multiple times with issues and he always calls to let me know what's going on and to let me know, ahead of time, how much the repairs will cost. He always gets my car in quickly too!

My husband brought our Lexus there recently for the first time and Chris fixed one of the biggest issues we had that other mechanics couldn t figure out. When we went to pick up our car, Chris took his time to thoroughly explain in detail what the problem was and what he did to fix it. When I asked him other questions I had about our cars condition, he explained himself with so much politeness and patience and he was very honest in our benefit not his! These people are kind and honest, also the girl at the front desk (sorry forgot her name) was as very inviting and as sweet as pie. Made us feel very welcomed. Unlike most business and mechanics I've been thru I gotta say this is the best company I've been through. Not only are y'all honest and upfront but also willing to give more of insight. I went today for transmission fluid and was seeing about price ranges on a couple other things. Instead of being after my money you were willing to give me information I needed on my vehicle. If you want an honest person this is the best place to come to and their fairly cheaper than most places. I will definitely bring my vehicles here.Service: Transmission

I began taking my cars to Aces after a strong recommendation from a friend. I have been extremely happy with the services I have received. I have used Aces for everything from oil and filter to more complex engine issues. I have always found them to be both honest and fair. They take the time to explain any issues and all options available. It is great to have a reliable mechanic. I absolutely recommend them!

Aces Automotive is our go-to mechanic for both of our Corvettes. Chris (the owner) does an absolutely fantastic job of servicing our Corvettes. Our best friends who also own a Corvette use him also. We highly recommend Aces Automotive for all types of vehicles, but especially Corvettes. His prices are very reasonable as well.

Nice, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. The front desk and waiting room are clean and well-kept. They fixed my truck for almost half of what the dealership quoted. They charged as quoted, no surprises and no attempt to up-sell me anything. They also got the job done on time as promised. My truck runs great now and I'm very happy with their service. Highly recommend.

I first went to Aces about 5 or 6 years ago with a problem with my Toyota truck, the owner Chris did some research and found out that it was a recalled part and told me that the dealership would do the repair at no cost. That impressed me that he was so honest! Since then I tell everyone I meet, that mentions car maintenance or repairs, about Aces Automotive. I have taking my vehicles there for everything from a basic oil change to more complex work on the ignition, starter and more. You will not find a more trustworthy and highly skilled mechanic anywhere in the area.
