I brought my car because of a clunking noise at the rear of the car when turning at low speed.I told them that on the Mercedes CLA250 4matic, this is a common symptom requiring to replace the differential fluid or having to service the differential itself.I ordered a diagnostic to know which of both it is.The front desk person tell me that they need to do a diagnostic that cost $135.I agreed, reasoning that if I knew what is the issue it's worth it as I would know which service needed to be done.3 hours later Firestone call to let me know that they completed the diagnostic.The conclusion:The noise is coming from the differential. The recommendation is to do a fluid replacement. If the noise persist then the differential need to be serviced.So in other word, no definitive diagnostic, I'm exactly at the same place than before.They asked if I want to proceed with the fluid replacement.I ask them if they will apply the $135 toward the replacement as they did not reach any conclusion. They said no as from their perspective the diagnostic was completed.The diagnostic was done with a quick test drive (<5 minutes) and with the electronic ODBII diagnostic tool (<5 min).I'd be in the shoes of the manager, I'd be ashamed to bill $135 for 10min diagnostic that does not provide anything to the customer.Here I'm not saying that there isn't some cases where a determination is not possible, but in that case if not ethically, at the bare minimum commercially tell your customer that the cost of the 10min diagnostic will be waved with the first step recommended.And to be clear I'm not disagreeing either with the next step.BTW, I went to the Northlake Firestone location to do the fluid replacement, the manager over there without knowing my name or my experience at the Huntersville location told me that for a Mercedes, to do a differential fluid replacement, I should really have the Mercedes dealership to do it, not them. That sounded so honest and genuine in contrast!I followed his advice.My issue with this Firestone is really on a principle, I pay for a job to be done, the job result is partial (and there I'm being generous). They should have compromised, show ethic and show that you care of your customer, not milking of every dollar and penny your customer.It just feels like I was stolen from, I will never go back to this location.

Kristina is AWESOME! She has the kindest demeanor, is informative, and is really responsive. I drive an extra 20 minutes out my way to come to this location to receive quality car care quickly! The lobby is also very clean and nice and quiet in the mornings. Even though car issues are upsetting, Kristina and her team make everything go a little smoother :)

I go out of my way to visit this Firestone location because of Felix! He knows his stuff and will not lead you in the wrong direction; Firestone is lucky to have him. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here and asking for him specifically- he is by the far the greatest and I ll only look for him to work on my car.

Scheduled an appointment for a simple oil change and state inspection. Showed up at the scheduled time and was told they were finishing up another appointment then would be on mine.Walked to Walmart and shopped for an hour. Returned to find they hadn't touched my vehicle yet. Apparently they decided to take their time on it since I didn't wait in the lobby. When they saw me return my vehicle was brought in, but having my wife and child with me I couldn't wait another hour.Don't waste your time here. Very slow and unprofessional.

Worst place ever! I made appointments at 12:00 two days in a row trying to get my tires rotated on my lunch break, as I told them on the phone when making the appointment. Then they tell me it's gonna take 2 hours just to get in in the shop... Not to mention the parking lot is littered with trash I picked up two screws. I also see an employee recklessly driving a costumers Jaguar! Needless to say I will never return there and would advise anybody to do the same if you value your vehicle

Both people that served me at the desk (check in, status up date and close out) were professional and attentive. No one tried to upsell me and the team changed my drain plug which was stripped. thank you. We are coming back!

New store with good and knowledgeable technicians. Service was attended quickly and correctly. Recommendations were very precise and price was right. Well maintained store with latest wheel alignment & wheel balance equipment.

First experience was a tire change and alignment. It went well, tire price was fine, and staff was friendly. They answered my questions sufficiently and I am happy with the tires. The appointment took about 3 hours which was fine for me because I was a walk in. All in all, good experience.My second experience was an oil change. I had an appointment in the morning, was on time, and they did not pull in my vehicle for about 45 minutes. I spoke with the front desk and asked if they recommend high mileage oil for my vehicle (80,000 mi) and was informed that they were planning to put full synthetic oil in my van. It was an honest mistake but MAKE SURE YOU SPECIFY STANDARD OIL if that is what you want. Lastly, they forgot to put the reminder sticker in my windshield. All in all, service experience was average.On both occasions the waiting area was dirty; garbage cans overflowing, floors not swept, bathrooms messy. I generally don't care and wouldn't mention if it was at the end of the day but at an early morning appointment, the waiting area should be clean.Services: Tires, Oil change

I did not have an appointment and it was a busy Monday. They worked me in quickly and were honest and fair in giving me a diagnostic for my car. They were not able to fix it but they pointed me in the right direction. And for that they deserve a 5star mechanic rating!! I definitely trust them at Firestone Harris Blvd. Great job guys!!

I cannot say enough good things about Christy. I have been to this location a few times and the experience is always good, but Christy really went above and beyond to help me out with my tire troubles. Definitely recommend!

Very disappointed in this establishment.In February, they recommended that I replace the front brakes on my van, which they did. After this repair, I took it at least 3 other more times, and they did inspections on each visit.During the month of June, I requested that they carry out a thorough inspection since I was going on a trip with my family, and at that time they did not call me to recommend front brakes, but in the email / WO it was recommended, at that time it had less than 9 thousand miles and if I needed them they should have replaced them based on the warranty, but they didn't.During the month of September, while driving on the highway, my brakes failed and I could hear a metallic sound hitting the front passenger side. I stopped at the nearest Firestone and they told me that my caliper was missing a bolt (I have this in writing) and that the others were not under the torque specification, which caused my caliper to remain in the air and my brakes had no control. Imagine the danger of this situation. This new location installed new bolts on the caliper and re-did the front brakes. They were kind and helpful.The next day, I went to the Firestone store where I had the brakes done initially, asking the Store Manager, Kristy, to reimburse my expenses for the brakes from the first time they were done wrong and what I spent for the second time on the repair. She declined and she had a not very friendly attitude. She told me to handle it directly with claims, and that she couldn't help me.I consider that something so serious/dangerous should have been handled more delicately. I could have had an accident and I only demanded that they reimburse me for the first job and what I spent on the second repair,What happened does not seem right to me, it wasn't treated with respect and I cannot trust my vehicle with them again. Wow, definitely the best service I have ever received from a Firestone. Came here on a whim for an inspection and was prepared to wait a long time. Talked to Mike & he got me set up and on my way in just a couple minutes, and was a pleasure to talk to, I am still shocked thinking about how fast & convenient it was. Everyone I interacted with was nice & helpful. They also pointed out an issue on my tires but didn t harass me into spending more money like some other places do, just wanted me to be aware. Definitely, definitely, DEFINITELY come to this location if you use Firestone. I had closer locations available to me but this one is 100% worth the drive.

**Slowest Firestone ever** I dropped my car off at 1:15 for a 1:30 appointment (simple oil change). I live not far from the Firestone so I went home. I never received a call but it had been two hours so I walked back to Firestone. It was 3:15 at this point and they told me they have not even started on my car. Very disappointing and frustrating. I had to reschedule for Friday morning since I work night shift and needed to go home and rest before work. Please do better about getting maintenance done in a timely manner, especially those with known appointments.Service: Oil change

Wonderful service and great team! I was headed out of town on a Sunday for vacation and had a flat tire on our rental car. I always bring my car here for an oil change and they stay pretty busy, but I have no issues if I make an appointment ahead of time. I wasn t able to make one this time though and they still got me in quick. Dani and Blake were very helpful and didn t try to pressure me to get anything extra, just basic recommendations. They were very helpful and efficient!Service: Oil change

Used to be good when they first opened. Since then quality of work and customer service went down. Extra long wait for no valid reason. Donavan was really helpful. They should hire him back.Incident #2: Aug, 2023I guess, I haven't learned my lesson from before :(. I went back for a wheel alignment. They informed me, both my upper and lower tire rods are seized and it will cost $400 to repair then I can get an alignment. I took it to the dealer, they did the wheel alignment without changing any parts and also did inspection and said nothing was wrong with the car or the tire rods.I am not sure if the technician is unqualified or they are just trying to rip their customers off.Service: Wheel alignment

Customer service was meh as the rep didn't seem to want to be bothered when entered the establishment. I just wanted to inquire about getting tires and an oil change and if it could be done that day. I was told that the truck bay wasn't yet available as the vehicle in the bay was waiting for a part and they weren't sure when the part would arrive. No problem. We agreed that I would call back in an hour and a half to see if the bay was open based on that conversation. I called back as per the discussion and was greeted with, "Firestone hold please." Followed by being put on hold for 7 mins. I hung up and called back only to be greeted with the same. I went somewhere else and they provided excellent service.

Had an oil change on Friday. I only noticed the sticker hasn t been updated because I am stranded on the side of the road. My car has no oil!!!!!!!! Of course, it is after hours, raining, and I have my kids and left my husband s wheelchair home. This is ridiculous. I never had any issues with my car and now I have Christmas lights on my dashboard!!!!Service: Oil change

I ve been a Firestone customer for over 5 years now but I specifically go to the Huntersville s location, because I never have any issues with them and it s always a nice atmosphere. Today, I got serviced and wanted to thank Hannah and Mike for their kindness and their willingness to go above and beyond. It was so much appreciated, more than you know!Service: Tires

I wish I could give ZERO stars! They installed a catalytic converter for 3k and it failed 60 days later! I was then told they could not find parts and it may be months before it could be fixed. I towed to dealership and since it was not drivable I was forced to trade at huge loss. I spoke to area manager for Firestone and she spoke to service manager at dealership and had him send her the diagnosis and told both of us it is clearly within warranty. Since Firestone could not locate parts she asked if I just wanted a refund. She stated she was new but I still believed her. She then called next day (after car was traded) and said they would not refund! Said they would fix but she clearly knew car was sold. I called customer service and was told a district manager would call me but that never happened! Now I have to spend time I don t have to file legal actions. Stay away from this place!

Scheduled appointment online and even prepaid. They had no record of my appointment but was able to see I had paid. Took 2.5 hours at 11am to replace 2 tires and change my oil. While friendly they will try to forcibly upsell you wherever they can.

If you have used Firestone Auto Care or Firestone Direct, take your car to another company outside the Firestone companies to check it. Firestone Auto Care tried to overcharge me and sent Firestone Direct to perform services they did not.I set up an appointment with Firestone Auto Care (FAC), and they forwarded it to their mobile unit Firestone Direct (FD). FD came out in August (breaks), September (oil change), and October (tires). Each time they stated and provided a report that they did a required check of the car. Each time stating that my battery and battery parts were in good order.In October, my care would not start, and I called FD to come to see why since they were the last ones there. This tech stated that the battery was dying and there was corrosion due to acid leaking over the parts. He stated that the other techs lied when they stated they checked the car and did not take pictures as they were supposed. I was charged for those services as well. This tech also stated he could not replace the battery because it would cause more damage. He stated that I would have to get the car towed.He gave me his supervisor s information, and when I called him, he stated that his employees did not do their job and offered a $50 refund (which I never got). He told me to call Firestone Auto Care at 10348 Cane Creek Dr, Huntersville, NC 28078, and that they would help me. The FD mobile employees were from this same location (saw the trucks and the employees at the shop).I managed to get the car to start and drove it over to the FAC store. They called and quoted me approximately $1,100.00 for a new battery, new parts, and the service. Due to poor service, I had already lost out on work, uber/Lyft fees, hotel stay for business, and a preplanned event. $1,100.00 did not sit right with me. I asked if they would compensate me for some of the fees, and they said no other than the $50 (which I never got). They apparently drained the battery while at the shop (the lights were left on when I came to pick it up).Then I got it towed (after a 5 hours wait for a tow) to one of their competitors, Pep Boys (PB). Not only did PB change the battery without any issues, but they also replaced one part (worth $8) that couldn t be cleaned off for $230.00. FAC made a great effort to mislead me and take over approximately $870 of my money.I called Firestone Auto Care (FAC) and Firestone Direct (FD) on serval occasions to file a complaint and claim. Each time I called, FAC told my story and was told this was not the correct number and that I needed to call DF, and when they transferred me, the phone would disconnect. This happened serval times. I finally got a hold of one rep, and they took my story and said someone would call back to finish the claim. No one called. Two weeks later, I called again to follow up, one rep took my story and said this was the wrong department, then transferred me, and the phone hung up. I called again, and the rep took my story last week and said I would receive a call, and I have not heard anything.I will take my car to another company to get it checked since FAC or FD hasn t adequately checked it. I am worried that the brake, oil change, and tire services I received have been done poorly, and as a result, I will have to pay due to this company not taking responsibility for their employee s actions. And the fact that I could have been overcharged if I did not leave.Services: Tires, Brakes, Battery, Oil change
