Tony here always does my car right, I get my oil changed here every month and he makes sure to do the free inspection on my tires and always tells me when I need them rotated. Overall I recommend this place and make sure you ask for Tony! He will fix you right up.

I would not recommend these mechanics. I took my daughters Subaru here because of a check engine light, the diagnosis was the coil packs, they repaired the ignition coil pack with an after market ignition pack, and now we are at the subaru dealer having the same repair done. Bottom line I spent money and now I am spending money again because of poor service.

The folks here are amazing. They've saved us so much money and ALWAYS do fantastic work QUICKLY. Contrary to experiences at other shops, CARS has actually talked us OUT of making certain repairs when they easily could have made more money from us. Trustworthy, fast, and reliable. What more can you ask for?

Great service. I needed an alignment on short notice before a long trip and Glen was able to squeeze me in first thing in the morning. I was in and out in an hour. The new owner as of January 2023, Tom, is a genuinely good person. Extremely knowledgeable and thorough, has been a master technician for decades and it shows. Honest and trustworthy, he is the only person that I rely on for all my automotive work, even with a full factory warranty! No need to go anywhere else, better prices than a dealership, and the staff truly cares to help. Superior Auto Service, no doubt about it!

Excellent Auto repair shop with great customer value. Front office staff were both friendly and helpful in arranging service for my vehicle. Staff went above and beyond communicating updates on repairs and offering flexibility for drop off and pickup of my vehicle after work was complete. Be aware this business is under new ownership. Most if not all of the reviews are because of the original owner. I had a misfire in one of my cylinders and I never got a definitive answer as to what was causing the problem. The charge was $292.00 for the time spent on the vehicle and they couldn t give me a definitive answer to the problem. They recommended I take it to the dealer. That I won t do. Compact Car Service in Charlotte is willing and ABLE to fix the problem. My error was I didn t take it to them first. Compact Car Service works only on Hondas. The new owner at Cars Superior needs to earn the stars the previous owner earned. I do think I should have an answer, after spending $292.00 on the issue with my car. The tests he did should not take more than an hour but he charged me significantly more. He definitely lost business from me because in 10 months I need a timing belt change. I will not take it to Cars Superior. That was almost worth the $292.

Glen and the crew get it done. Always helpful in fixing the problem in the most economical way possible. Communicates through the process and I will continue coming back as needed. If you have a Ford (especially a mustang), this is the place!

We are long time customers of CARS and have referred friends there but never left a review here. I'm glad that I waited to leave a review because my last experience here deserves this space.We brought our '16 Honda Odyssey in with a check engine light issue. It indicated we had a problem with the rear VVT solenoid. Julie and Tom (the new owners) were fast, courteous; gave us a price and initiated work. When they returned the vehicle the VVT Solenoid was making a noise. Tom asked if the noise was new and because it was he proceeded to bring the car in twice to rechange the solenoid. Turns out after all of us patiently pulling our hair out that the OEM solenoid works with no noise but the aftermarket part made that noise. So we replaced the aftermarket one with the more expensive OEM part.it's always frustrating to not have a vehicle. We were respected, told the truth, and worked with until the issue was fixed. We did not have to take our car to a dealership like the previous review stated; although had they asked us to we would have because sometimes dealerships see issues on their makes more frequently.We have worked with Jim (previous owner) on several issues for several vehicles over the years. I cannot emphasize this enough: Jim could not have found a better new owner. Julie and Toms character was never a question in our mind while we dealt with the problem. Some places would have washed their hands of our issue long before figuring it out; but not the team at C.A.R.S. You can trust this place and its new owners.Save your self some distrust and some money over the dealership and bring your car here.Service: Engine repair

We moved here within the past year from out of state, my two biggest fears when relocating: finding a good mechanic and finding a good contractor. CARS is awesome. They have been able to get me in multiple times on a days notice. They are honest, communicative, and take pride in there work. Their estimates are accurate and priced right. This business has been around for sometime now. It appears to be under new ownership by a incredibly nice and honest young man. I stopped this morning for a unscheduled quick repair. Not only did they tend to my needs immediately....... they where all beyond polite and nice. I strong recommend this business. They are honest and just good local people. Support this business and help spread the word about them. We need locally owned small business like this to better our local economy.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was very disappointed with the service of C.A.R.s Superior, I drope my vehicle off to be repaired. It was Very poor communication amongst the staff, the mechanic who was working on my truck was extremely rude to me when I would call there to check on my vehicle and had poor communication Customer services kills. They had my vehicle for six days, and it was a only a three hour job. I will never go there again and The Better Business Bureau will be notified as well.

I have relied on C.A.R.S. for our vehicle repairs twice now. Both times they had my car back on the road at a good price for the work. First was for CV replacement mechanical work and the second was for an electrical diagnosis that I just couldn't figure out. Turns out it was an uncommon issue, but they were still able to track it down and present me with options for repair. I will not hesitate to go back if a repair presents itself again that I cannot handle. Good honest shop that will not try and gouge you.Thank you C.A.R.S.!

I was a mailman in the area. I have used them more than once. My experience was that they do alot of bandaid work and you end up coming back in for the same problem several times. I do not feel confident in their abilities. Only good experience there was to fix a flat tire. I was Extremely disappointed in the service that I received from this automotive company. They held my vehicle for six whole days it was very poor communication. The guy who was working on my car was rude. Lousy customer service. I found out later ,One of the bolts is missing off of my rims And my vehicle is now making funny noises .Very overpriced for terrible service.

The mechanics are always honest and straight forward. Today, Jim in particular helped me get into the back gate of my Jeep that was locked up for some time. He showed me how to do it and didn't charge me a thing! Good luck finding customer service like this anywhere else! I will never use another mechanic again!

After an inspection at AAA that I failed and gave me a quote for a fix costing over $600, I came here to get a second opinion. It cost me $36 and has kept me coming back every since. Great honest work, done efficiently with spectacular service. 100% would recommend!

I needed a muffler on my Dodge van to pass inspection. After a fair amount of looking on line and a few phone calls, I ended up taking it to CARS and was glad I did. The price was as good as any and they didn't try to sell me anything more. The job was done the next day. The people were very nice. The next time I need work done, I'll start with CARS.

I have been going to CARS for a couple years now with my Toyota matrix. I decided to try them out because of all the good reviews. I can honestly say they do a great job and I feel comfortable and confident with the work they do on my car. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Trustworthy and honest.

My initial impressions of CAR s were positive. The guys seemed honest, willing to work with me, and straight to the point. I know a thing or two about cars myself, and just didn t want to spend the time to diagnose my issue. They reaffirmed my reasons for doing my own work, and continuing to do my own work. I ve rebuilt several engines, so I m capable of it, it s usually a time issue. My complaints are thus:1) Upon opening my hood I immediately found a missing screw (which I eventually located). This screw keeps the wiring harness in place preventing it from rubbing, and eventually failing.2) My air intake clamp was not tightened.3) The throttle cable cover was cracked.4) Lastly, and this is my biggest issue, they claimed they were going to remove the timing cover to check that my timing marks aligned. Upon calling me they informed me that they had in fact done this. Upon inspection the cover had not been so much as disturbed. You can t check timing marks if you don t remove the timing cover, so clearly they lied to me and didn t actually perform this check.Look elsewhere if you want actual honesty, and quality work with attention to detail. Screws shouldn t be missing, everything should be tight, parts shouldn t be broken, and most of all you should actually receive the service you are paying for. Buyer beware.And to update this: They told me they had done a compression check and that one of my cylinders was low on compression, that this is the reason my car was running poorly. This, too, was a lie because I checked compression and it was even on all 4 cylinders. They told me there was a mechanical issue which would cost well over 2 grand. The real problem was a $50 EGR valve which would have taken 5 minutes to test with a vacuum pump.

One of their lead mechanics has been servicing our cars for our entire family for over 10 years and we have recommended him, and Cars, to many of our friends! We trust them with the care of all our cars and most especially the cars that our college aged children drive. We have experienced poor service and over payment prior to finding this shop. The staff at CARS are honest, trustworthy, and do great work! They are not only nice, but consistently go above and beyond--not only with the work they do, but in customer service! I went there first because I heard several very good recommendations from friends, and now I recommend them to anyone I can!
