Shop keepers are helpful, fully staffed and they have tools you can borrow so you can do some minor repairs right there.

As a faithful Advance customer Nick was rude to me and his co-worker. He scolded his coworker for struggling with a battery return. I purchased the Die Hard battery 3 weeks ago which was dead upon testing. I was stranded and had a minor emergency with my vehicle. I did not have my ID Nick enforced store policy stating that I needed my identification in order to return the dead battery. He stated that he needed to scan my id for the return. Walked a good bit to get my ID. When I returned he didn t scan my card. He only punched in my License number. He completed wasted my time. Super unprofessional! He wasn t even in uniform. He was only there to bark orders at customers and employees. Will not return to that location.

Have been going here for years.Recent visit to this store for a new car battery. Brannon was very helpful, professional. He removed the old battery and installed the new one. Great place to shop.

Very helpful & knowledgeable staff! My car died in Marshall s parking lot across the street & Layne walked over with me & helped me charge the battery. He then helped me buy a new battery & even let my fianc� borrow tools to replace it.

I wanted to pay a compliment to one of your employees his name is Nick today is Saturday June 24th 2023 my truck broke down and the battery had died on it and it was about 60 yards from the store and he willingly walked with the battery charger/ volt meter down to my truck to check it for me. He was very polite and extremely helpful and so kind and I just wanted to express my gratitude for that. He's a great employee.

Extremely unhelpful employee at this location. On August 3 around 11AM wifey walked in trying to replace the battery on her car fob. The useless poor excuse for a man behind the counter told her you need to know what battery it takes , keep in mind he s standing behind the computer where they LOOK UP parts and accessories for vehicles. It was apparent he didn t wanna help us and very obvious he is a racist. I would not recommend this store, unless you too are a racist then you ll love it!

Grumpy counter staff.725am I was outside store. Store apparently opens at 730 am.Door was open. Grumpy Joe yells were closed not open until 730am. Sorry! I didn't see the sign and the door was open .... anyway Grumpy Joe comes over and locks the door.

The person attending me would not help me decide what kind of wipers would be best? Can't give my opinion. Went to there competitors and they had no problem helping.Reply to Advance Auto- I went to the other location in Huntersville on hwy 115. The team at that store was amazing! They helped me find the best wipers for my car. It was a personal issue. The lady at the conter keep telling me she couldn't suggest a wiper?

Free battery and electrical system test and my battery was dead and didn't pass...Bought a battery and it was installed and I was back on road in less than 30 minutes!

The battery in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler was completely dead and I needed a new battery and for it to be installed. I called to check if they had it in stock and the gentlemen on the phone confirmed the battery was in store. I go to the store and was greeted by Jeff, although very busy due to the amount of guests, quickly greeted me and confirmed that they were able to install it for me. After Jeff completed a battery replacement on another guests vehicle, he grabbed my battery and came right over to work on the Jeep. He got the battery replaced in under 10 minutes and I was at the shop no longer than 25 minutes. I highly recommend the Huntersville Advanced Auto Parts for any vehicle needs.

I rode up with my car like 30 mins after they opened to get a new battery and they were a great help! I don t know the name of the guy who helped me, but he looked up which battery I needed, grabbed it, and changed it all within about 20 mins (my car had a complex cover with wires over the battery so it took a bit longer to maneuver around it ). Great service!

Very kind hearted people for sure! I was helped out by Heather and another gentlemen. Make sure you ask for Heather. She is the best one there! She also let my sweet pitty come in with me since I didn t want to leave her in the car. Even though we came for car items we were very happy with the customer service.

Had battery light come on and the guy checked my car with a very complicated machine he couldn't get to work properly. Was very hot outside and it took a very long time but finally came to the conclusion that it was my battery and not my alternator. Which was good considering I was a little over an hour from home. But made not stops went straight home and checked it out my self and everything was good. Battery was fine. But will keep a check on it for sure.

I will forever be grateful for Alan and Chris at the North cross store. My car battery died and I was stuck with my puppy in the cold rain . Luckily, the store was in the same location as my puppy s veterinarian. After walking in the rain to the store , Chris calmed me down and gave my car a jump with their equipment . Afterwards, Alan checked my warranty on my battery and it was replaced. This all happened in less than 15 minutes. Both men were patient, knowledgeable but most importantly true professionals! It s been a while that I ve experienced top notch customer service. Thank you-Alan and Chris for saving my pup and me. I will be back!

Good prices on stuff. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. If you're in Huntersville and need parts, this is a great place to go.I will check your battery and alternator for free. Install batteries for free. They even offer free install on wiper blades purchased there.

Bought a new battery for my dump trailer. Walked in with my old one, installed the new one in their parking lot and dump still wouldn't work. Had them test new battery. It was fine. Had them test my old one, it was fine. Said I couldn't return the new one since it was installed. I'm like really? It's been in my trailer for 2 minutes in your parking lot. I even offered to buy $100 worth of merchandise (same price as battery). HAVE THEM TEST YOUR BATTERY 1st! I'm not happy.

Lonnie was very friendly and helpful to me on a very frustrating day. The beginning of Memorial Weekend and my brake light bulb went out.The store was busy but he didn t tell me where to find the bulb he went and found it for me. Thanks Lonnie for your help and outstanding customer service!!

The cashier was rude and argumentative. She thought her opinion was more important than a pleasant sales experience. This branch will continue losing customers as long as the cashier is arguing with everybody.

We just went here to get a wiper blade for my wife's car. On the plus side she was able to get the blade she wanted and it fit the car. On the negative side of things: the store associate was quite pushy about particular brands of blades and talked negatively about the type which my wife wanted to buy, the associate gave us the part number then left us to find it in the aisles, and the associate didn't listen when my wife was asking for prices on particular wiper blades(he just continued talking about how we should be getting the recommended wiper blades.

They placed an order for oil, and oil plug and a copper gasket. The bag with the copper gasket was empty. They refunded my dollar, but my RV oil change is on hold.Best price on 14 quarts of Mobile 1.Alas, I have to go elsewhere to find a gasket.

Jon was excellent. He tested my battery and advise that I needed a new battery and nothing wrong with the alternator. Remove the old battery installed the new battery at no charge. Five stars and any future Auto needs will definitely be returning to the store

I just drove from California to North Carolina and along the way my car's wiper blades were damaged during transportation. The guy here helped me get the right blades, saved me $10 with a current deal they had, installed them for me, and then took the old blades and trash from me. Amazing service!

When I first walked in, a younger gentleman was helping me find the proper brake pads that I needed, however he gave me the wrong ones and insisted they were right. After I paid am older man came and told him that they were indeed the wrong pads and I was given the correct ones at no extra charge to me. The way the situation was handled was perfect but they lose a star for having that situation happen in the first place.

I went to Jiffy Lube in Cornelius and they tried to charge me $120 to recharge my AC. Went here and bought freon and got the problem fixed for less than $50 with the help of employee John. John even replaced my cabin filter for me.This place will definitely get my repeat business due to how friendly and helpful the staff was.

Walked in today and asked for assistance for buying and changing the wipers. The lady at the front desk was very very rude while assisting... Unfortunately I was with my 3 year old and didn't want to argue, so I had to leave.Went to AutoZone, they did great.

I have stopped here for windshield wipers and to have diagnostics run on my vehicle before heading back to VA from my daughter s house in the area. Have always been greeted by nice people who have looked out for me and made sure my vehicle was safe to return home.
