I was very impressed with everyone there. They got to my RV much quicker than I expected and they called me several times to ask questions and/or explain what they were doing and make recommendations for repairs. Their hourly labor rate seemed a bit high but they were very efficient. I will use their services in the future.

I received courteous, friendly, prompt, and excellent repair service at a reasonable price from General RV Repair (AKA: Martin RV Specialists). Chris and Brenda are quality-minded people and made the extra effort to ensure the repair work on my RV was completed in a timely manner. In less than 30 minutes, Chris assessed the problem with the refrigerator not working when it wasn t connected to a power source and replaced the reignitor. Great people at this place, very understanding and helpful. My schwinteck system on my wardrobe slide decided to eat itself once I arrived at the campground. They were able to send a tech out to me the same day I called. He identified the issues, located part numbers and called everything into the office. Brenda then arranged everything and was my point of contact for everything the entire time. She got my parts order, arranged a day for me to drop off my RV and handled everything with my warranty company. All I had to pay was my deductible. They got the job done in one 8 hour work day and replaced every piece of the schwinteck system on both sides of the slide. There was also a backup plan in place if we had to stay the night there. If you're in the area and need help give them a call, I'm sure they will come through for you.

The BEST! Our travel trailer had a broken suspension (happened while driving the BRP). We called, sent photos and within 30 min a part was found, staff was on the way to get the part and then they met us on the BRP at the overlook where we were parked. Within 45 minutes of the staff getting to us, the trailer was fixed and we were on the way. The staff even started a claim for us as our part was still under warranty! We sure wish we lived closer and General RV Repair could do all our repairs.

Chris and crew installed a new Furrion Tankless LP gas waterheater in our 2016 Roadtrek. Not only does it work well, but it is far superior to the original equipment that came with our RV.

Walked in the store about ten minutes before closing time, as I had just gotten off of work. The staff was very friendly and understanding; then proceeded to spend about a half hour after closing finding parts for my camper and my answering questions. It seemed like the entire staff stayed late to help me out. Then they even helped me load several 16ft long pieces of termination bar into my truck bed! I highly recommend this place and will be coming back, as I'm in the process of restoring a very rough camper.

Chris and his team of professional mechanics are very knowledgeable in RV mechanic repair. I've seen their mobile service team respond to needs of people at a campground and I've used them to bring our RV in for a repair to their garage in Hickory. Honest, fair, friendly and responsive. I highly recommend.

Smoke coming from the fuse box...called General RV Repair and within 2 hours Will was onsite and had our capacitor replaced. Will was beyond professional, fast and excellent repair man. I will use this company for all my RV repairsService: ElectricalService: Electrical

A business gets only one chance to prove their value and General RV failed miserably. I made an appointment for 11AM to do a pre trip inspection and showed up on time. Then things went downhill from there. When making the appointment I indicated I was from out of town (40 miles one way). The first thing out of their mouth was they were slammed and wanted to know when I needed the work completed. I then said "don't I have an appointment at 11?" and they confirmed I did but could not promise they could get to my RV today or not. This left me with no option but to trek back home. There were no apologies I just left thinking these folks have no clue about commitment or customer service. Hope they improve or the word will get around they fall short on how to properly run a business.

I was Staying in Lenoir for a short time.. Had a non emergency repair. Called on Monday morning. Part was ordered in Monday and installed on Tuesday afternoon at my site in campground. Big plus is very reasonable mobile service.Stopped by their shop while out and about. Impressed by their positive attitude, willingness to help me, and the owner getting his hands dirtyGratifying to support a local qualified business.

I have been dealing with Chris Martin for 5 years with various repairs with my 2014 Sabre Camper. He has always called me back very quickly and responded to complete my repairs in professional manner at costs that are very reasonable. Thus far these have involved skylight replacement, stove fan replacement, sliding closet door adjustment, black tank valve replacement, window reinstall to stop a leak, roof inspection and seal. Going to discuss entering into a maintenance contract with him soon.

Quick, well priced, very thorough and very nice. Chris and Will came out to repair my electrical problem. We are in the Boone area and it is very cold during the winter, I had no power, no heat and two little pug dogs to keep warm. I travel a lot so the fifth wheel is our house. I called Chris to see if he could come out and fix my trailer, and he came out a few hours later. He not only fixed the problem and cleaned up the work area, he started my furnace for me and explained to me more about my power system in the RV. He was very nice, answered all my questions, and gave me advice that I Asked for without making me feel bad for not knowing. Thank you!!!

I took the church bus there to get an estimate on some minor body work. Owner Chris Martin helped me and was great. He even volunteered to watch me back up the bus to turn around. I was very pleased.

After writting this review yesterday and speaking to a few people that have had work done I am told Chris and his crew does very good work. The problem remains communication.Recommended very highly by neighbors. One has known Chris for many years. He will not return messages nor will he show up for appts if you can get him to make one. I mistakenly recommended him to another neighbor.

I have a 1995 Stardust Starcraft pop up camper and it needed some work. I brought it to these guys and they did a great job fixing it up. I tried out everything they fixed and it worked great. This is a amazing place chris martin, preston story, robert arney are the three best guys around. I love taking my unit to them. They don't try and screw you over they are a good group of guys. Yes Chris has other techs but those three are the best the rest there just sweep floors and whatever but Chris preston and Robert are the real deal. Cheap priced and great work. Also david clark and willie do a good job at mopping the floor and keeping the place clean best cleaning service around.

Honest and reliable owner, rates are much more reasonablecompared to local service centers.Resolved 2 problems in one service call, a leaking roof and refrigerator stopped cooling, Chris repaired them both in the same afternoon. I'm a very happy camper!!
