Carey's Automotive scheduled my Chevy truck in for repairs quickly. A phone call was made the day of repairs. Price was agreed on and the work was completed in a timely manner. I'm very pleased and will recommend others to their shop.

Friendly service and great mechanics. Nice environment. The shop always tries to get you an appointment as soon as possible. Over all, Carey's is a trust worthy car shop. Only place I will go to get oil changes and mechanical work.

We have used a few mechanics over the years in the area but landed at Carey's after great recommendations. Friendly mechanics and staff, honest and fair pricing. Quick to get you in for an appointment. Only place we'll take our vehicles to now!

Don t ever use Carey s Automotive if you appreciate living. I had them replace the ball joints on my Toyota Tacoma. They lasted a little over 2 years. Ball joints should last many years if not decades. The passenger side ball joint had the castle nut come loose due to cotter key being left out. That was shoddy workmanship. Luckily I was in a driveway. Carey said the two year warranty had expired. Two months later the driver side ball joint broke while is was driving down the road. That was shoddy workmanship and faulty parts. Now it will require a bunch of parts to fix Carey s shod job. It could have been worse though, wheels breaking off going down the road is super dangerous. Think about yourself and your precious cargo before letting these hacks, in my opinion, at your car.

Everyone in my family use Carey s and we each have different types of vehicles. Everyone is always friendly and they re honest! They don t add unnecessary work or charges to your bill. Very nice customer service! I called about my sealbelt being twisted and stuck and was told to bring it in to take a look. I pulled up and the guy came out immediately and fixed it within a minute and didnt charge me! Wonderful care!

If you do a quick Google Search on auto repair you be amazed at how many returns you get. So, there s no shortage of repair shops to be found. However, there is a shortage of high-quality, top-shelf shops that do the job affordably and correctly the first time. Carey s Auto Shop hits the mark every time. For the past several years, I ve taken my vehicles to Carey s for repair work and I ve never been dissatisfied. Most recently to have my headlight lens restored and new LED headlights installed. I was pleasantly surprised. And the repair cost was less that quoted. It s a family owned business and they understand how to treat customers always friendly, outstanding service and fair prices. If you re looking for a shop that treats you right, then I highly recommend that you go see Nick, Carey or Lisa the next time your auto needs repair or service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle safety inspection

I don't live in Lenoir anymore if this tells you how good this place is I'm willing to travel almost 2 hours to bring my automobiles here to be fixed I trust these guys they have treated me very well over the years and fix multiple multiple cars for me and problems I had with them very honest people

Took my F250 to have the trailer pigtail and brake box fixed. Also was having some issues with the tailgate. A lot of shops don't want to fill with these kind of issues. They said sure bring on by. It was fixed the first time. It was fixed on time and for a very fair price. Can't really ask for more than that. Great job guys.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

With dealerships now living on another planet this is a great place to get your ride fixed up. I am very particular about my vehicles and these guys are trustworthy. Very professional to deal with as well as competitive on pricing. Most of all just good people.

I have to give a HUGE shout out to Carey's Auto in Granite Falls. He and his crew are 10 s in my book. Long story short, we took our 16 yr old son's car in last week to Cloniger Ford due to a noise in the wheels. They came back and said all this other work needed to be done on top of a new wheel bearing (the original reason for the visit) and the total would be $4400!!!!!!! We about DIED!! So we got the estimate and a list of all that needed done and took it to Carey's. He called today and said that most of what they said did in fact need to be done but some of it was just not necessary and just a way for dealerships to pad services and make extra money. Remember we gave him the quote and list, so he could have easily came back and said $3000 or even $3500...anything less than $4400 and we would have felt like we were getting a deal!But NO, he said he could do everything needed to be done for under $1200!!!!! Y'all that is a freaking HUGE difference of $3200!!! We have taken out cars to him for years. Anytime one isn't under factory warranty, we go to him.So yeah, if you need auto work done go to Carry and you won't be disappointed or overcharged! He has been in business for 30+ years and has almost 5 star reviews on his business. A good man with good business practices who takes care of people. I am so grateful there are still honest and decent people in the world like him.Services: Auto maintenance, Oil change

I would rate them 6 stars if I could. Another "dealership" in town tried to practically steal my vehicle, but Carey got us in very quickly and completely fixed the vehicle for 10% of the other guys price. Literally! They're great, will definitely be taking my vehicles there from now on.

I will forevermore go to carey's. I can and do a lot of work on my vehicles, but will quickly look for their service when needed.It started out as a recommendation. After being ran around by a couple other local shops, that I personally know the owner. Carrey was more than able to take the dash off my Subaru to make repairs diagnosed. This was done in a day of dropping the vehicle off. I was explained before the initial appointment on an older car panels don't typically go back perfect. He even made a point to show me the less than 110% quality he normally delivers on repairs. (minor cracks in plastic that he did repairer) MyAC now blows as strong if not better than before. From this initial visit I was sold on their customer service quality. From simple oil changes to major work like a transmission replacement. You can rest assured you will get a fair price, the job done correctly, and imagine this, a call when you can pick your vehicle up!

I'm really hesitant to put 3 but I will since the work they did was good. It's just the pricing. Instead of charging someone dealer price let them choose if they want dealer part or something just as good but cheaper online. Like I said not a bad review just letting yall know times have changed and things are cheaper and just as good online. Thank you for fixing my vehicle.

Took my 2004 Ford Explorer in to get the lower bearings replaced. They did an amazing job. Staff was BEYOND friendly. They re absolutely reasonable in price. They follow up with you on what they re doing. And they don t pressure you into more gimmicks like other companies. I highly recommend this place.

Everyone that came through the door was a repeat and lifelong customer. This alone made me feel confident in going there as a single woman. Got me in promptly and made sure my concerns were addressed. I'd recommend this place to my friends.
