They were so kind, transparent, and communicative during the entire service. At other repair shops I have often felt like I was a bother and felt like I was talken to in a condescending manner, and I have been taken advantage of, but none of that happened here! My experience was a breath of fresh air in comparison to experiences at other repair shops! It was a good deal too, but more than that they have excellent customer service and are quick!

Easy place to do business. Very nice Reasonable prices.If you need fancy HT is not for you. If you want knowledgeable people this is your place.Will do business with them again.

I have been going to Dave at Hillsborough Tire for around 20 years. Great prices for good tires and good service. They can usually get you knocked out pretty quickly and offer free tire rotations after purchase every 5k miles. Happy customers make loyal customers.

Ethical, friendly, and they don't overcharge. I was making a trip down east a few days ago when i noticed my steering wheel pulling in one direction and vibrating once i reached a certain speed. I was on I-40 and i took an exit in Hillsborough and came across this shop. They fixed the problem, were friendly, and got me back on my way without overcharging me. The manager even gave me his card to call him if there was any issue when i got back on the road. I would recommend to everyone!

I've bought my tires here for years now. David, the owner, always steers me to the best deal on the best quality tires. He's very knowledgeable, not just about tires but also a well traveled, thoughtful, intelligent person who will give you good conversation if he's not too busy. But the service is always excellent.

What a great shop!Thought I had some alignment problems on my Subaru.Dave took it for a quick test drive and quickly diagnosed it as as different problem with an easy solution.They fixed it on the spot and my car tracks great now.I'll surely be getting my tires from there when it's time.Thanks a ton guys!

I'm a student from California, headed to school on the east coast. I hit a pot hole and did some serious damage to my tire. Dave had my tire swapped out with a new tire at a great price in under 15 minutes. I'm not even exaggerating. My brother came with me to give me a ride back from the shop and my car was done before I could even tell him we were going to wait a few minutes. This place is great!

Wow! GREAT SERVICE! Thank you- Michael and the guys in the bay! We pulled out of the driveway and realized we had a flat five minutes into our trip- pulled into Hillsborough Tire and they fixed us up with 2 new tires- we drove out of there in 30 minutes! Saved our weekend- highly recommend! Thank you!

Great local, small business that I really appreciate. David always gives me feedback on the issues I'm having, pricing beforehand and in the end great service for a reasonable price. I have never felt being upsold or him recommending anything I didn't need. This is the reason I always use them for anything tire related.

Hillsborough tire was recommended by a neighbor when we moved in. I read the reviews and like everyone else, there are good and bad. I truly fee after my experience that a bad experience was a misunderstanding. I can t speak for everyone but the customer service I received was very good and the quote I received over the phone was the exact price I was charged. Moving into the Hillsborough community, I feel proud that they are a local business with how I was treated.

I have bought many sets of tires here car, truck, and camper. I feel I have received the best price based on other local quotes. If he does not have the tires they are in within a day. My parents have taken every kind of tire fron tiller, lawnmower and more to be repaired here. He offers free rotation at 5000 mile intervals. If its tire related I go to Hillsborough tire.

I went in today for a rotation. The guys were so friendly, and super fast. They were so nice to my son, and let him watch them work on my car, and play with their cute little puppy. Amazing group of guys working here.

Always The best place in the Triangle to get tires! I picked up a screw in my tire and knew who I trusted to take care of it. They patched it right up and I was on my way. Great outfit and I would recommend them to ANYONE!

Excellent as always! I bought tires Feburary this year . I had a blow out last night. Come to find out my new tire is prorated under my warranty at a reasonable price! And the warranty on these tires are for 2 years! WOW!

I always have a great experience every time I come here. They have the best prices on tires and alignments. They dont try to screw you over or take advantage of you.The staff treats me great from the time I walk in the door and until the time I leave.

HORRIBLE! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!! They had me go pick them up lunch while I was waiting in line, told me 30 mins and it s been over an hour and half and keep giving me the run around. Have four mechanics back there and no one is helping me, all eating lunch. I left and will never come back again!!! Why would you have someone get you lunch and have them sit for an hour waiting while you eat it. One car and 4 mechanics but no one wants to work. HORRIBLE LYING !!

David (owner) is polite and friendly. Alas, he seems to have proven himself less knowledgeable than he should be.I carried in a wheel with a slow leak. It was a fairly new tire bought at a different shop. There was a small but obvious nail well within the tread. No problem, I was assured. I made sure to ask for a plug-patch, but David told me the plug-patch was inferior to a patch here, because it required him to enlarge the hole, which would allow water and salt infiltration. Didn't sound right, but I wanted the thing fixed so I gave the go-ahead to fix with just a patch. Subsequent consultation with another shop and Internet research reveals no instances when a patch is superior to a plug-patch.When I returned, I was informed by David that my tire was unrepairable because it was a run-flat tire. This was news to me. Again, subsequent consultation and research reveals that my Bridgetone tires are repairable if 15psi were maintained before repair. This, indeed was the case. The tire had only gone down to 20 psi.(Some run flat tires are unrepairable. Bridgestone specifically allows repairs.)David offered no alternatives. He didn't even try to sell me another tire. At least he didn't charge me anything for the failed attempt. That was kind and the reason for 2 stars instead of 1.Another shop plug-patched the tire and my car is back on the road.

Had a tire blow while on my way home, took two tire shops before I found this place, thankfully had the tires, extremely fast, reasonably priced and extremely friendly staff. If it wasn t so far away I d visit her regularly for tires.

My son had a flat and went to these crooks without me and they proceeded to con him into buying TWO front tires that were only 3 months old. Maybe 1 couldn't be patched but no way in hell there was anything wrong with the other. Stay away from these crooks.

Not good. Price was $100 higher than phone quote. Now the truck needs an alignment...However, recommend tires seem pretty good.

Brought 4 tires that I just took off my old car to Hillsborough tire to take off the old rims and put on the new rims. They had a problem taking one off, said they had someone coming to take it off but it wouldn't be till the next day. The next day I brought the car and dropped it off, when I came back they said one of the tires was flat and they couldnt use it. When the tires were in perfect shape before I took them. Tire has rip in the side wall from them trying to take it off but they wanted to say it was there before.saying i hadnt no choice buy a new one , smh they ruined my tire

They always quote me the best prices for tires and point out things I should be aware of without being pushy. I even had a low air spare and they filled it up too.

Told me my nail was in side wall of tire and it needed to be replaced. I wanted a second opinion so I took to Discount Tire and they showed me that then nail was not even close to the side wall and they patched it up. Sorry but i don't like being taken advantage of and neither should you.

We get all our tires here. They are "good ol boys" but it is quick service and they are very knowledgeable. They are pretty friendly, too.
