I showed up 10 minutes early for my appointment, they ended up taking my keys and starting my oil change early! They have a nice lounge to chill in with free WiFi, coffee, water, male and female bathrooms, and some comfortable chairs to sit in while your vehicle is being worked on. It took them 59 minutes to change my oil and rotate my tires and it was a PHENOMENAL price! I will be going back for regular service!

Very friendly and worked extremely fast. The lady who answered the phone was very helpful and gave good instructions to get our car back running in order to get it to the shop.

I will NEVER drive hours away to take my Jeep to a dealership again. I was scheduled for an oil change exact same price as my dealership except I saved about 20-30$ in gas . Love this place! Monica went above and beyond! Highly recommend but you need to schedule early . They are very busy and now I understand why.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I really feel like my Audi had the service it needed, nothing more or less for a fair price. Monica in the front office is awesome she explained all nuances of the multi-point inspection and also communicated with me regarding status and pickup timing.

My brother and I live in GA for college. My brothers car is still registered in NC in my dad's name. It was due for inspection so we decided to drive up to get it serviced. We called checked the website and called ahead to make sure the store would be open on the holiday. They said yes and that inspections were first come first serve. What the website and the person on the phone failed to mention is that inspections are only until 11:30 am. We were forced to drive another half hour to get the inspection somewhere else. I understand their no exceptions rule but if that is the case they need to be more clear about that fact when people call.

Had a bad experience with them. They replaced my brakes for $2200. In less than 2000 miles the front rotors were warped and had to pay $752 down in Florida to replace them. Russell has not reimbursed me, would not recommend them.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

They did good work on my Toyota shocks and struts. They were reasonably priced, especially for a high-end resort town. They do a brisk business, so you'll need an appointment. The best kept secret in the area.

Russell and his crew are very timely, honest and they fix it right the first time!! Would recommend to anyone wether its a foreign, domestic or exotic. They know their cars! Also Monica at the front desk is always helpful as well !!!

Russell and team run the cleanest and most organized shop I've ever seen, by a long shot. They are pros, work diligently and meticulously to fix your car, and tell it to you how it is, giving honest appraisals and recommendations. I go nowhere else in Highlands and appreciate their integrity and skill (and sense of humor) through the entire process.

For all of your AUTOMOTIVE NEEDS go see Russell and his crew! They are all professional, honest and educated on their cars ! They take care of business fleet and personal cars and they are fixed correctly everytime. Monica at the front desk is always HELPFUL.

I only wish they were located in my town!! We were on vacation and our brakes started grinding......not a good thing in the mountains. They immediately looked and assessed the problem and finished the job ahead of schedule so that we were able to leave on time. Courteous, helpful, efficient and personal. Who could ask for more? Car rode like a dream all the way home! I cannot thank them enough.

I needed to get my inspection done and drove from Atlanta. I was greeted as I walked in, and it felt like home. I m from NC, and my grandmother was buried with family in Highlands. Visiting Highlands Automotive was a quick and straightforward and would recommend it to anyone needed good, honest NC automotive service.

Had a nail in my girlfriends tire. They patched it and we were in and out in about 5 mins. Also got to see a beautiful Datsun classic while I was there. Overall very nice experience.Service: TiresService: Tires

Mechanic left the oil cap loose after changing it and it flooded the engine causing massive smoke on my first drive after service. Had it fixed and cleaned at another local shop and called Highlands Automotive to let them know of sevicemans error. A quick "so sorry" from the cashier left me with a feeling I could no longer trust them with my car.

I have not used them for major repairs yet, and I hope I never have to, but minor services and inspections are handled quickly and well. The recently added waiting room with WiFi is much appreciated.

My husband brought our car by to get inspected. We were told that it would be okay to drive home. On our drive home, the car broke down and had to be towed for 1.5 hours. I do not trust the opinions of Highlands Automotive.

They are kind of pricey but auto work is pricey period. I would say what keeps me going back is the people. They are honest, nice, and treat you right.
