Great people but VERY POOR SERVICE! These people will take a decade to do something as simple calling a customer to let them know there part is in. Also be aware that they are bad estimators and miss very critical information and parts, I will never have them do any other body related issues ever again!The service department however is a ten star and good staff they will also pick the phone up and call you when things need to be done. They are great at reminding and also they are great at keeping you informed they do not do nothing without your say so and their estimates are on point.

The repair took a good while but with all that had to be done to the front right it was put back together perfectly and with Subaru parts. It looks really really good and drives perfect. My wife and I thank you very much and would recommend anyone that needs vehicle work to try them.

THEY CLEANED MY CAR INSIDE AND OUT! Wasn't expecting that as I dropped it off dirty due to days of ugly weather. Repair job was outstanding (thanks body and paint techs) and so was Katie who handled everything. Thank you all very much!

Today makes a year since my accident and my van is still not all together. I am missing an inside panel, but rest assured the insurance has paid the bill. I chose Vann York because I wanted it fixed correctly and they came recommended. Now if I could just get it finished. I have been in intermittent communication with Andy there but they rarely keep you informed in the process. It s always that they are waiting on parts and you can call Honda to ask for more info. So then you call Honda to get more info and they ask for information about the ordered part and you ask the shop and they never respond with that info. They only communicate in emails and rarely do that. I just want my van back in one piece and to be done with this process. Communication would be great also.

I will NEVER let these people touch one of my vehicles again. My truck got T-Boned in an intersection and we took the truck to vann York for all the repairs over $10,000 In damage. My truck was In perfect condition before the wreck I waited for 3 months to get it back and then my husband noticed that the brakes were not acting right. The brake calipers had busted and also there was a leak in the transfer case. So once again I had to take it back and they had to evaluate it to see if it was wreck related. They claim it was not related to the wreck and accused us of messing with the brake hoses. They wanted to charge me $3000 for repairs. Once I declined they said that I had to pay $500 to be able to get my truck back because the problems were not related to the wreck. By the way the brake issues were from the wheel that was hit in the wreck and the initial issue when we took the vehicle in was that the 4-wheel drive was messed up. They are not honest and they are covering up problems they caused with my vehicle. In return I am out a lot of money because someone ran into my truck. They are not easy to deal with and they do not communicate well. This has been going on over a year now. When you repair a vehicle from a wreck it should be back to the original condition once repaired. That is not the case with Vann York and they will not own up to any of their mistakes. I have been a long time customer of Vann York and I will not ever make that mistake again. Please don t trust them with your vehicles unless you want to have to come out of pocket for a lot of money to fix their issues. They don t even deserve 1 star

They are not honest! Took our truck therefor repair after an accident. They finished the vehicle but kept lying and saying they hadn't heard from our insurance company. Over a month went by and we realized that they were just milking our insurance. Spending more and more invoices to get more money when they were already approved. They had no empathy for our situation..had no urgency to get our vehicle back to us and had no apology when they got caught in their lies. We will never use their services again. They felt because we were a young black couple with a nice truck and good insurance we were stupid.

I had a wonderful experience with Vann York Paint and Collision Center and Joe Johnston. I think what impressed me the most was simply the communication. I received updates on the vehicle the whole time and they handled everything with insurance as well. It was hassle free and just overall a great experience. I would highly recommend Vann York Paint and Collision Center. If you can work with Joe Johnston as well, his customer service was wonderful.

Vann York Collision Center came through on the hood fix issue on my Outlander. Thanks to Roger for getting the repaint done and finishing the job in a professional manner. After picking my vehicle up from repairs done from this location. While driving less than 1 mile from the center the driver side wheel fell off that was not even part of the repairs done to my vehicle. Thankfully no one was injured and luckily i did not hit the telephone pole that was inches away from me, the tire went 50+ yards. This is NOT my first incident i ve had with this place, it s actually the second. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I will NOT be coming back here.

This might be a great business but my customer service rep Roger was awful. My car was there over 2 weeks and he only called me once to get the okay on an increased estimate. He NEVER called to give me any idea of how long the repair would take - I didn't know whether it would be 2 days or 2 months. And today when I called at 2pm because he told me yesterday when I called that it would be ready he hummed and hawed and guessed it might not be ready today. I asked to speak to a manager - still waiting on that call. In the meantime, I reached out to the sales department as this is my fourth car from Vann York and always have received excellent service. They got me connected to a miracle working customer relations rep who when I shared I could not pick up the car tomorrow because I was working 12 hours said they would have someone deliver it. She also got things expedited and got my car over to the mechanics shop and back to the collision center so that it could be completed today. The smart aleck repair shop rep Roger called me at 5:38pm to say I could pick up my car - and then he said Oh wait you are in Greensboro I guess you will have to pick it up tomorrow. There is no doubt in my mind that he thought about that before he called me. Just glad he knows how to work a phone since he apparently couldn't use it to update me. BIG thanks to Honda Dealership Manager Christopher Thompson and Customer Relations Rep Yvonne Strachan for providing excellent customer service to a longtime loyal customer. The location was not hard to find. The inside was very clean and well organized. The staff was very friendly and attentive except for one person that seemed to be having an off day. I didn't have any direct contact with this person but did not pick up a friendly vibe. Eric got up and introduced himself which was awesome and took care of everything. There was a mix up from my insurance company about the rental reservation. Eric was on top of it and called my insurance company and a person from the rental car company showed up to pick someone else up. Eric spoke with Heather from Enterprise and she was able to take me back to their location and get me squared away. Eric did a wonderful job of getting the process started to making sure that all my needs were taken care of without having to ask for anything. This was my first time dealing with Vann York but I can tell you that they are off to great start with getting my car fixed. I normally don't go 5 stars but they deserved it for making this a very painless situation. Thank You Eric and Vann York.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I was hit in the right rear of my car and I was pretty upset but this shop was on the list to do the repairs and since I only go to Vann York Honda I decided to try Vann York Paint and Collision Center. I was told at the initial time it would take about 7-8 business days so I was ok with dropping it off on 12/27/21. The insurance company said that they received a quote of only 5 days to do the repairs so the rental car process was bad but that was all the Insurance fault. I'll be honest when I took my car in it was dirty with leaves on the floor and dust on the inside. I hadn't washed it in months and its a white car. I eventually got my car back in about 6 business days and it looked like a brand new car inside and out. I wasn't expecting them to detail the inside but I was happy to see it. They did a great job on the repairs. I will look over it again today to make sure because I got it at around 5 so it was getting dark. But as of now I'm 5/5 happy. Made my car like new again! I recently got behind a dump truck that had not cleared off the back gate after dumping some very large (rip rap) stone. I was behind him as he got on the on ramp in front of me and started dropping stones off the back of the truck. I backed off pretty quick to give him time to blend with traffic but as I tried to move to the left lane, BAM, onto the windshield, bouncing off and then the roof!I got in front of him and tried to get him to stop, but he was having none of that. After phone tag for a week I just called the State Police and filed a report. My insurance company handled the rest and recommended Vann York as the place to get the work done. Got the estimate on a Tuesday and the following Monday, dropped it off. Original estimate was to pick up on Friday, but received a phone call Wednesday morning stating the car was ready for pick up. They had replaced the windshield and painted the entire top of my 5 year old car. It looks like the original paint to me. What an outstanding job. The dings are just gone, like they were never there. Outstanding customer service. I highly recommend Vann York collision. You need to give them a try if you need paint or collision repair.

Went to get an estimate and thank goodness because afterwards I definitely don't want them to do repairs. The estimator barely even looked at the vehicle so there no way he could even come close on an estimate. This was the quickest and most inaccurate estimate I have received. The purpose of an estimate is to get as close to repair cost as possible....sure they may find other issues during the repair that they couldn't see but there was obvious damage other places that an estimate wasn't written for. If they can't take time to actually look at your vehicle to provide a fair and somewhat accurate estimate, what makes you think they will take the time to fix your vehicle correctly? Do not recommend them to anyone.

Recently used Van York Collision to repair my car after being rear-ended. They were able to give me a quick written estimate and were very nice to work with. The final price was the same as the estimate and they had it completed when they said they would. I was highly impressed with the level of service. If I ever need bodywork I will return. They also offer a shuttle and have a decent waiting area. They work on all models as well.

We ve had repairs done here twice. Once recently and the other time about 3 years ago. Both times they kept the car for months. Once returned it had to be brought back 2-3 times because it wasn t fixed properly. One time they even had to send it to another shop just to fix it because after a month they couldn t figure it out. No one is ever available to answer questions when you call and it s hit or miss if they even return your call. Don t waste your time!

Restored the bumper on my Honda Accord after being rear-ended. The work was excellent and my estimator Eric was very accessible and easy to communicate with. Everyone in the shop went out of their way to offer assistance. Will definitely be my go-to stop for any future paint and body work.

Recently used Van York Collision to repair my car after being hit by a deer. I was recommenced to come here by a friend and am so thankful for it. I drove from Raleigh and it was more than worth it. They not only worked quickly and for a very reasonable price, but their customer service was excellent. Very helpful, kind, and accommodating. I brought my car here to be fixed from where another shop had done a horrible repair. These guys are amazing!! Very friendly, courteous staff. They were also very upfront about the process and what all it would involve. They kept me updated on the status of my car and my car came out looking brand new! I couldn t be happier with the results! 10/10 recommend these guys!!

I brought my Kia in for repairs in early December and I am still waiting to get my car back. They don t call and update the process at all. Absolutely horrific experience here. Dropped my car off on Monday and was supposed to be completed on Friday. After calling and checking on it multiple times on the following Monday it is still not completed. The Manager also did not bother to call, he let his associate handle the customer. They need to learn to communicate to customers. I would search for an alternate place to have your repair completed.Service: Painting

I was involved in a car accident in July. I chose Vann York body shop to fix my car, prior to dropping my car off at the location I informed them that I was concerned with the way my car was driving. They so called fixed the body of my car. After weeks of waiting for Eric L., to communicate what was going on with my vehicle I received a call a week after he initially told me that my car would be ready that I could come pick it up. Upon arriving after paying the location I inspect my car and pieces were coming apart the same pieces that they had fixed. I showed them they took my car back and glued it back together. After leaving this location heading to work my car started decelerating on the highway with no notice that anything was wrong. I immediately called back to the location and Eric told me well it was nothing they did that they only replaced my doors and removed the bumpers. I expressed my concerns but Eric had his mind made up that the problem couldn t have come from his location nor the accident that I was just in. I have a 2014 Nissan Maxima and they diagnosed the problem and stated it was my transmission. Because my car wouldn t go over a certain mile per hour while back at this location Vann York had it towed to their service center. I am now responsible for a tow bill, a diagnostic bill and still no car. After all the experience I had I will never use this location. Funny part about the whole thing is my car gets serviced at a Nissan dealership they never informed me of anything being wrong with my transmission before. I wouldn t recommend anyone to choose this location for anything. People trust you all to do the right thing instead of just getting money out of them and not fully doing their job!

Worst body shop experience, they had my car for over a month which was only suppose to take 4 days to repair. They could have communicated to me that parts were on back order I had to keep calling to find out anything. I also kept trying to get a loaner vehicle w/ them and when I was able to get one the next day the car wouldn t start, which made me late to work.(I ve never been late to work)Heidi answered the phone one time I called to get an update on my car she was very rude and unprofessional. Once I finally got my car back I had to drop it back off twice. The 1st time was the very next day bc they put scratches on my BLACK CAR they tried to polished them out but only made them worse not only that they misplaced my license plate frame and put a cheap one on my car and expected me not to notice that. 2nd time was b/c it would rattle everytime I would drive they somewhat fixed that I could still hear the noise so I took it to a different shop and they did the job right and corrected the rattle. Now I just have to take my car to a different body shop to fix the buffing marks that they created when they tried to remove the scratches that they put on my car. Not to mention they didn t even bring the paint up pass the quarter line on the bumper so that it blends perfectly. This Vann York Honda body shop is NOT where you would want to bring your Honda.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I came as walk in to get my car repaired on a Thursday, I was told that they will be able to take my vehicle in for repair the following Monday. I was told that my car will be ready in 3 days and in 3 days following drop off my car was ready. Andy was very helpful and knowledgeable of service provided. I would I highly recommend this auto repair shop. Not to mention they cleaned my car as well!

My fianc� and I dropped our car off to this company for the rear bumper to be repaired on Monday. Everything under the hood was working just fine. When we arrived on Friday to pick up our car and it would not crank. My fianc� goes inside to tell them that the car would not crank && the customer service rep replies oh yeah we had to jump it and we charged it for you then he bring the booster pack out to jump the car. Then we take the car to the auto parts store to get tested and charged. When we return to pick it up we are informed that the battery cannot be charged due to a bad cell. Now mind you we just bought the car last year and we have never even had to jump the car prior to dropping it off to this company. So we just had to spend $200 on a new battery so I am currently filing a report with the small claims court of NC in hopes to get our money back

If ever in an accident never take your car here, no matter what the insurance company says. Had to take my car back 4 times after they "repaired" it. Also dealing with the manager was a difficult experience seemed as if I was in the wrong when asking him to correct mistakes they made. Car is still not 100% I am very disappointed with customer service and their work. Take my advice and get another reputable body shop to take care of you.

Collision companies should not be be tired of giving quotes to a customers even if they have only asked for 2. I went in to get a personal estimate on damages then my insurance was going to come in again to get another estimate, but one of the employee there probably does not like working there because he was just lacking the respect I don't want to name people here but that person told me on my face that he will not given me another estimate when my insurance comes in. I don't understand this business works of quotes you give customers the quote and they decide. But that specific employ thinks I am wasting time here. Please let the person know that giving "customers" quotes is not a waste of time. Never recommending anyone here. Because giving estimates to customers according to him is a WASTE OF HIS TIME and other people. I honestly don't get it I asked for an estimate but in 2 different ways but he was not happy with that. I am not wrong for asking that. I got no problem with the company but if a customer is treated that way then thank you but this does not for me.
