Valvoline oil change had been our oil change place for three years. We changed our oil there every 3000 miles on three different cars. my wife took the car in the last time and they did something wrong. They either overfilled it or they put the wrong fluid into the oil reservoir. we have a 2000 Kia soul that ran absolutely beautiful until the last oil change. Now we re being told that it needs to have brand new catalytic converter that most likely it was overfilled with oil which pushed it to burn oil and now it burns 2 quarts of oil every two weeks on a brand new car that never had any issues and was maintain perfectly from day one. I spoke with the district manager and he was no help. Even though we have on tape the mechanics at the shop, saying these type of issues have been happening and there has been nothing done about it except letting the kids go that worked therez. Please watch closely when they re doing your oil change to make sure they are taking all the steps they re supposed to because this is going to be a $10,000 mistake that was not on our behalf but we re going to have to eat it on a brand new car.

This placed stripped out our oil plug on our 2012 Honda Civic took no responsibility said the previous person stripped it out which is a lie cause I'm the one that does the oil changes on all our cars the only reason it came here this time was I was working late her oil change was due do not take ur car here the dude that stripped the oil plug out didn't even get fired they moved him to another location and made him a manager they made my girl pay for the oil change did nothing to fix the stripped oil plug so we ended up paying for the oil change and over 200 dollars to have it rethreaded don't take ur car to this place they r. A joke

Awesome experience, I got an oil change for my husbands car, and the whole crew was very unique and refreshing; genuine and professional, but also fun! Josh helped me the most with my oil & filter change, we had a lovely conversation, he's amazing . I don't remember the names of everyone else, but it was top notch service, I absolutely recommend them to everyone! I'll be going back for the oil change in my own car next week!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS!!!! Read my review this location is where all the new hires are trained almost $700 in damages and repairs to my truck which they admitted were their fault . Was told I d be reimbursed and then communication stopped! This company should not be supported!!!! 1/6/2024Do not give this company your time or money!!! Many other locations in the High Point Area to do business with . They run employees through this facility which means the staff have little to no experience. $700 in overall repairs to my truck with no response from the company to make things right. I will report to the Better Business Bureau!!!!Had oil changed ... oil filter cap was cross threaded when putting it back on causing truck to leak oil. Went back 2 other times to get fixed .. they were unable to fix issue or diagnose the problem. Took it to another company to find issue that s when I was shown the cross threaded cap/ cover which the cross threading cracked . In all it cost me around $700 for a rental while repairs were being done $200 of which were a new oil filter cap . Beware of the high point locationUPDATE!!!!!!!!2 months ago they responded to my review and asked me to submit a claim. No response at all to my claim ..... ??????? Why ask me to submit a claim then ignore the claim filed?BEWARE THIS FACILITY!!!Service: Oil change

I went here for a car inspection for the first time ever on Wednesday and had the most positive experience. The staff is friendly, honest, and welcoming. Josh #1 was particularly personable, professional and educational. Logan serviced my car and the service was efficient and affordable. I appreciate how ethical the staff is here and their integrity. They are not like other shops that try to con you into purchasing services you do not need. I certainly will be back again!

This was my first time visiting this place. I went for headlight installation because both of my headlights were burned out. Josh greeted me and was super helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. I wasn t sure if they could install the lights since manufacturers make it more difficult to install headlights. But, Josh and his team (Katelyn) got the job done and I was in and out. Service was very affordable and I will return!Service: Electrical

Great experience here every time. Josh was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about getting everything I needed done to service my (overly-complicated) Jeep. Adrian was a big help too. He was a little grumpy, but he seemed to have a good sense of humor. Good crew at Valvoline on North Main. Thanks y'all!!

I ve used this place in the past so I went to get my car inspected today at this location but immediately changed my mind as soon as I was greeted/talked to the staff. The person working there was insanely rude throughout the entire interaction and could not have cared less about how he was presenting to customers. I went down the street to another business where I was happily greeted, offered water, and given an estimated waiting time without the negative attitude. Definitely will not be returning again nor recommending anyone else use this place.

So frustrated because I got an oil change here but they didn't put all the clamps back on the plastic covering under the car, and now its hanging/dragging.Update: I went back to get the covering out back on, they did not have the screws they needed and had to order them so they took the cover off til they came in... On my way home the cover to the oil fell and was dragging it sounded like something fell off my car.. but I will say when I called them they were very nice about it and because I didn't feel comfortable driving it after that they came to my house and fixed it for me. Everything seems to be perfect now! I really appreciate the effort to fix the mistake!Service: Oil change

There was one car in front of me when I arrived. It took an hour and a half for me to get in and have my oil change done. Staff was polite, but I was frustrated to have to wait so long.

Great Service. Josh was able to get a tight oil canister off that the other places(Take 5) were scared to try. Service was also quick I was able to stay in my car.

I came here last year for an inspection and didn t enjoy the unprofessionalism of the staff, so I decided to go elsewhere for service. However, i needed an inspection this year in a rush and came back (expecting the worst). i pulled up before 9am and was told it would be an hour wait (4+ cars were already waiting). since i needed to get it asap, i stayed foe the wait. the wait only ended up being 15 mins and the inspection took around 15 mins as well. Kate was very sweet (i told her i didnt know anything about cars). i had a pleasant experience this time around!

I came here to get my car inspected for the first time last week. The employees were extremely unprofessional, loud, rude and screaming inappropriate things to each other. There was only one younger gentleman that was just "okay". The manager at the time didn't even look at me and I had waited 25 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. I will not be returning here and definitely do not recommend this establishment.

Got my oil changed here. Arrived right after they opened and didn t have to wait. They were fast and courteous. The computers were having trouble processing my payment, but they quickly resolved the issue. Horrible service. Employees were very rude.After a 2 day of service oil change I had to go to another service shop to fix mistake made(Strickland brothers)on north main st.Mechanics are little girls with little to NO knowledge about cars or parts.i would not every suggest to anyone nor recommend.Take 5 is a basic shop that does better than these guys hands down.Service: Oil change

Honestly, I've gone here in the past and it was just so-so...im not even sure they put much oil in my car last time. I came up there yesterday, and it seemed like they had a whole new staff. They went above and beyond, were engaging, and personable. I'm glad I gave them another chance. The guys even took a few minutes to get the corrosion off my battery..Service: Oil change

Awful service. Marked my next oil change for 900,000 miles later. Not 5,000. Didn't reset the oil level monitor. They never pick up the phone either. PLUS, they charged $120 for an oil change, without tire rotation, which my mechanic normally does for $60.

I have been going to Valvoline for a long time they always been good to me with the customer service and the staff is great they go over everything for a oil change plus the coupons are really reasonable prices.

Incredible service! I went in on my lunch break expecting to spend the entire break there. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. Whether it's an oil change, an inspection or anything car related I highly suggest this place! I used to pay an arm and a leg for such incredible service but it only cost me $30! I cannot recommend this place enough. Tremendous!

I went to this location for the first time, to have the oil changed in my car. I found it to be more expensive than other places, but the employee gave me $10 discount. When they were done, I asked for a receipt, as I keep the service records in my car. He told me that they ONLY send email receipts (what if you don't have email???), and I would get it. I said that was annoying because then I would have to print it at home. He said that was store policy. So, I get home and there is NO EMAIL RECEIPT!!! I called the store and asked about it and the girl answering the phone said I would have to COME BACK in to verify my email, I could not do it over the phone. I do not live anywhere NEAR that store and I am NOT going to drive back ! Evidently they sent it to the wrong person!!!!!!!! I will NOT go back to have my car serviced there again and I hope my personal information was NOT in the email they sent to SOMEONE!!!!!!!

First car I took in for a state inspection, they lifted the car by the wrong lift points . The car has factory body cladding that wraps under and the lifted on the cladding. The second car two days later they took over forty minutes for an inspection, Katelyn started on it and just stopped and worked on other cars and finally went back and finished the car. I was in fact calling another shop when she started to finish the job. I will not be back!

I went in for inspection in the afternoon and was able to get right in. As I sat in the waiting area I noticed 2 different workers in and out of my car on both sides. When my car was brought around for me to leave my things that I had laying in the console were back towards the gear shift. I started putting things back and saw ALL my coins were gone. There was at least 3 dollars and maybe more in the holder. I sat there a min and the (manager) can back out and asked if something was wrong. I told him yes, I wanted to know what happened to all my change. He said, well it must have fallen down into the console where they pulled that compartment out to hook up for inspection . He took it out and there was no coins down I there. He was fast to offer me money. I told him I didn't know just how much was there but it was a small hand full. He gave me a 5 dollar bill and apologized. I have thought about this for several days before posting. I don't know what happened to the money but it didn't fall down into the console. Also i kept hearing wind like a window being part open. I checked all my windows and they were up. I had several more errands to run so I went about my business. As I drove home this noise was very concerning to me. I pulled over and even checked my doors. I started on down the road and don't have a clue why the sunroof came to mind. I pushed the close bottom and heard it close! They had hit my sunroof bottom and it was partially open. Well, it was raining that day so then I had water on the cover. I will never go back there. By the way the coins that were gone, there was one that had no great money value to it but had been given to an to me at some point and I kept it there. It was a wheat penny and I always looked at pennies before I spent with them to not spend that one. Sometimes it's not always about value but sentiment. This was a big mess all the way around!

I went for a full synthetic oil change, paid over $80 and around a month and less then 1000 miles later and my oil light is on and my oil life is at 5% and the oil is as black as dirt. Never had any issues until i used valvoline here in high point. I don t recommend this place at all.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change
