I have trusted Alex and his co-workers with my cars for 10 years. He installed a clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing in my Honda crv in 3 days and it worked emaculantly. Now he has my mini cooper. Any machanic can install a part. If Alex is taking longer; he is building a part to save you money. Love is patient, love is kind, God is love. Pray for Alex and his work family. He is a good man.Follow-up: I have had my mini cooper back for a cpl of weeks now, and it's shifting flawlessly. My car had other issues that were also corrected. I am so grateful to Alex and his awesome work family. 100% above and beyond customer satisfaction, and I strongly recommend them.

I've been twice over the years and I've always been satisfied. The work was done correctly, on time and at reasonable rates. Staff has made a point to show me they appreciated my business.

At 234,540 miles, my 2008 Lexus IS 250 transmission was slipping. It's a costly major repair. Transpecialists of Hickory replaced the parts and fixed my car at 1/3 the cost of what the local dealer quoted. I'm very thankful to the owner and his technicians for their expertise.

Alex and team were great. While it took a bit longer to get parts in ( which is typical for everything these days), they were professional, thorough, and the bill was less than what they quoted. 0/10 would not recommend. The owner Alex would lie and take his time on working on your car. One really good example of many would be: you calling to ask him on the update of your car he'll state "It'll be ready next week" or "You can come pick it up next Friday". However, when Friday comes around he will suddenly have another problem come up. Then he'll tell you to come back the next Friday, until you are sick and tired of his 'help'. Next thing he'll do after getting done with it after so many months is overcharge you on the bill. Would not recommend anyone get the cars fixed here if you have any self respect for yourself.

For all mechanical issues, the Owner Juan is as fair as he can get. His years as a mechanic it show on every visit I had with him. A job very well performed and very informative on what's going on with your vehicle issues. Se habla Espa�ol

Alex quoted me a very reasonable price to replace the clutch on my car, and told me it would be ready by Tuesday. Sure enough it was ready on Tuesday, driving like a new car, and for the price quoted. Alex's diagnosis of the transmission issue on my Ram 1500 was spot on! It was right around Christmas time but that did not stop him from getting the job done on time. I was worried my 2000 Ram might be done for, but it is shifting smoother now than it has in years. I will be going here again for sure. The front desk person is very kind and helpful as well. I highly recommend this operation. They do imports and domestic. They also do state inspections which is handy.Service: Transmission

Left SUV to have transmission worked on for almost a year. kept getting excuses about why it wasn t ready. Tag was stolen while on their lot and was used in a felony theft. Picked up vehicle once(about 5 months ago)and wasn t even fixed returned it and picked up today and it still hasn t been fixed and hardly runs . This is after paying about $1600.00Service: Transmission

Your lucky Nate 2 weeks is not very long, my vehicle has been there since November and was told that the repair would not be a problem. I have been told so many different stories that I have lost count! Soooo frustrated!! This company came very highly recommended, but my experience not been good.

This place has had my mother s car 5 out of the last 6 months. Took it in for a transmission leak, got it fixed and back, started leaking again. Got it fixed and they drove it for a week. Got it back and after two days I had to have it towed from Statesville back to their shop. They said they would work on it the next day. That was over a month ago. Went and talked to Alex the owner, he said he would have it on the racks the following Monday, it s still sitting in the parking lot. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE CROOKS.EDIT*The owner called me not even 10 minutes after posting this acknowledging the car hasn t even been moved in the past 5 weeks because it has a northstar engine. He s upset with me leaving this review(which is understandable), but I wouldn t have to do this if he had done the work properly any of the times the car has been in his possession.

Had my torque converter replaced on my FrontierThe repair was done in a week and truck is like new. Even though they were short handed all worked out well for me. Great people! Thanks.

I haven't even had work done. I called to get a quote on a tranny rebuild...they can't answer any of my questions. Couldn't tell me if the rebuild kit they use had all the updates. Couldn't tell me if I was purchasing a tranny with a core charge or if they would rebuild the one I already have. TranSPECIALISTS....I feel like the name should be changed since they don't know what transmission components are. I asked for a quote for a GM 700r4 and the asked if that was a manual or automatic....really?!

This place is a joke!!!! Alex, the owner has had our vehicle for FOUR MONTHS and WILL NOT return or fix our vehicle. He had lied to us for MONTHS saying it s almost finished. HE HAS STOLEN OUR CAR.We are having to file civil/criminal charges against this business to get our car back from him because he WILL NOT fix or return our vehicle.Service: Transmission

I took my Volkswagen Jetta there to get the valve body replaced. I had taken it by the paramount Volkswagen dealership where it was purchased and had a diagnostic test done and they told me it needed the whole transmission replaced and said it would be $4000-$5000. I had a feeling they were trying to cheat me so I did some research and found that most Volkswagen jettas made around the same time as mine have valve body issues. People all over were experiencing similar problems with their vehicle and getting the valve body replaced instead of the whole transmission. I took it to Alex and he agreed that it was the valve body that needed replacing. It cost me $1500 and it was done in 5 days. I was overjoyed considering I thought I would be paying a few thousand dollars and waiting months for the part to come in... I highly recommend transpecialist to anyone looking for transmission repair!!!

He had my car forever notonce did he call me back about my car I had to call him everyday he would say it be tomo well tomo took 3 weeks,he was suppose to call me back today with bill never did so I go get car check engine light still on.They are not professional at all.He said he would call if it was more than $300,he didn't and it was higher.smhService: Transmission

This place has had my car for over 5 months I got it back from them after the 3rd month and I had it for 3 days and the transmission messed up again and now they have had it for another 2 months and haven t even touched the car even though it was a warranty job, don t trust for sureService: TransmissionService: Transmission

Receptionist was rude. Multiple quotes. Got nasty when I asked questions, but had to call multiple times to get accurate information
