What I thought was a fine experience getting my oil changed here a week ago turned into me noticing only a few days later that oil is leaking out of my car all over as I was driving. Another location (same name) closer to my house said that my oil filter and plug were both loose. I will be more aware of my car when going to get maintenance from now on, I understand accidents can happen but I m just glad it was noticed & fixed before any serious damage could ve happened.

Strickland brothers on highway 127 is a perfect place for oil changes. The 2 gentlemen that was working today Thursday 3/14/24 were fast , very efficient and no need to get out of your vehicle. They explain all the services and let you know the price upfront . There is an option for all kinds of services and oil changes. They are great you with a smile and cold water.10 of our 10 for me . Was my first time going to Strickland Brothers for an oil change and I will definitely be going back in the future. The two guys working there were fast, efficient, and courteous. And I wasn t harassed by excessive amounts of add ons and up charges like a lot of places like this try to do even after you tell them the only thing you want is an oil change. Great price and great service.

Very nice people with integrity and honesty! Great place to go for all of your automotive needs! Needed a NC State inspection as well as an oil change and engine flush. Great service quick and easy and hassle-free!

The fellas at Strickland Bros. Hickory NC location were Stellar!! I made a mistake with a coupon meant for the Taylorsville NC location and the Gentleman at the Hickory location still honored it as well as going above and beyond my expectations for ANY rapid oil change establishment.Thanks again for being EPIC!!

In and out for an oil change quickly. The crew was professional the whole time. As I was pulling out they ran me down to inform me I had a taillight out. They had it swapped out in under 5 minutes (older model car). I'd definitely recommend their services.

This is a quick oil change location that is locally-owned. The price for quick oil changes are usually fairly steep, but the price for this location wasn t as high as I d expect for full synthetic oil.There was no pressure to get this, that, and the other cleaned or replaced, which is often my experience at other oil-change locations.We ll definitely be repeat customers!

Bobby was excellent and very knowledgeable! There was also another man (I think his name was Jeff or Jim) that was actually doing to oil change while Bobby was helping under the hood. They were both awesome! Great service and I highly recommend!! Give these men a raise Strickland Brothers!!

Excellent service is HARD to find these days anywhere in America. No it s impossible to find. Except except for this place!!!!!! So IF you re looking for excellent service quality work on your car THIS is the place to go!!!! They have great management!!!! I can t wait to go back for my next car service!!!! 6 stars review I m giving them!!!

Used to love it because i didnt have to do it my self been going here for the past 2 years and now.. Terrible experience the last TWO times! I've went brought my suv in for an oil change and they stripped my drain plug and put a butterfly drain plug on it and surprisingly it didn't Leak but this time they said they "had to change out the butterfly plug because its a temporary plug" and they never told me that last time and now this time it's leaking a little from the plug and the oil filter I had to tighten up the filter when I got home because it was loose. Never going back.

Honestly, some of kindest people. Had to go by and get an inspection and oil change with three kiddos under four! They didn t mind the kids playing and even offered up kid shows while I waited.We will be returning.

I saw that they charged around $38 for an oil change (online) and they ended up offering me a couple offers, starting with $69 for my Honda accord '04. It might of been uncharged for an oil filter change added on.They were cool people and did a good job, but it was rather expensive. I got no veteran discount on veterans day (but I didn't ask, so..) I have hearing problems, so it was difficult to hear the dude while sitting in my car.I still have a maintenance required code popping up on my dash, but when I told dude about it he reset my trip counter lol. These are good people though and they were very respectful and cordial. Idk why it was so priced up but they seemed to do good work and right in front of you while you sit in your car.If you need your oil changed in a rush and don't have the time or place to do it yourself, I'd recommend coming here for sure.

Terrific staff. Quick oil change, air filter check and equalize air pressure in all tires. These guys were cheerful and helpful. Highly recommend Strickland Brothers in Hickory!

They did a decent job and we re friendly enough there s just a big misunderstanding about the filter. The first guy said don t worry about it saying zero on the computer. We got one down below and I didn t know why he was saying that to me. Then they said they didn t have it and they said they did have it, so anyway long story short it s a European car and kind of threw up a Monkey wrench at them so if you have a euro car like a Volvo like I do make sure to ask first do you have the filter? but they did a good job.

Inspection was convenient and fast at the Hickory, NC location. The employees were very polite and attentive. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Edit: another great service at this location. 100% recommend!

They broke my oil dipstick and did not tell me about it. I drove off and then smelling oil, I stopped to find oil covering area around dipstick in engine bay. Went back to submit claim and person who did oil change lied that he did not break it and it was already broken but again did not tell me and let me drive off. Also I was told 28 for air filter but ended up being 38. Waiting for claim call from anyone at strickland almost 2 weeks later. Cameras will show truth.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

This people misplaced my hood stick, the misplaced stick then proceeded to find its way to the fan, the fan stopped working due to the stick preventing the fan to go around. The car over-heated, and the fan stop working. While the car was broke down it stated to leak oil, just to find out the oil filter was put in with 2 seals, and the bolt to drain the oil was bit up. I have took my 6 vehicles here for years, it used to be crease monkey before this new admission, never again this people will get any money from my pocket. I went to the store, show them the video, the front desk guy was super nice, contracted the person in charge and the person in charge didn't event call me back, then they send the front desk guy to call me back. I didn't want any money, I wanted disciplinary actions toward the person responsible for the damages. U better believe I will tell everyone about it!!!

Went for oil change and tire rotation. After I was in the bay they said they couldn't do tire rotation due to not having a lift to match my car. so oil change only. Guys were cool but not the price. Kinda high for me.

Needed oil change, live out of state. Looked at reviews, seemed good. But, guy who helped me not clear on options or pricing and hard to understand him. He was not professional: shared about his personal life without me asking. Weird. If there is a need in the future I will look elsewhere.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change
