Came in for 2 oil changes for my car and was greeted very nicely and the process was great. My technician Brandon was very professional and prompt with my cars and took care of my needs. Will definitely be coming back.

Great customer service. My car runs like almost new. I highly recommend the Hickory, NC location over the Mooresville one. Hickory was precise, considerate and true to their word about timing.

I was surprised that this location has such reasonable low prices for the services you need. I needed oil change instead of paying from 50 to 70 dollars I paid $32 their normal daily charge not a special. I needed a front alignment instead of $65 to $150 at other places I got wheel alignment for $49.99 as long as I live in this area I will use precision tune for any service I need that they provide. Please tell them you read this review and chose to use their service. Thanks

Went here today because my car was stalling. Ryan gave me an hr wait time but had my vehicle in the bay before then. He figured out what was wrong with it, had the part and was able to get it back on the road with an oil change done in an hr. He took care of other customers as well being honest with them about not needing a part. Will be back. Oil change was only $60.

A wonderful experience. I used the coupon for a 4 wheel alignment with no up sale. the manager was easy to work with. I was in and out in a few hours. I expected to wait much longer since it was a Saturday and I was not there when they opened.Great work and great communication. I received a before and after color diagram of the alignment showing the results. Will use this location again.Service: Wheel alignment

I bought a used vehicle in October 2022, and although I should have had it checked by a mechanic, I didn't. But when I started to have trouble with it not starting, I went to precision tune, because they have taken care of my previous vehicles. They have been working on trying to figure out what is causing the problem, and they never gave up. These guys are so great, I can't say enough about how hard they work, how quickly they get a job done, and how pleasant they are to deal with.Services: Steering & suspension replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

We were traveling from North Carolina to South Carolina and our brakes on the car sounded like a grinding. Stopped at Precision in Hickory NC and was attended by Ryan. He was our blessing. He was busy but took the time to review our problem. All said, after one and one half hours, and options by Ryan what we should do, we were on our way fixed and heading back home to South Carolina. This business is your must go to if you are local or just passing thru NC. As for Ryan, inviting, professional, and well versed in auto repair and accommodating. Corporate take note, you have a gem in this man. Ryans attributes are very difficult to find in this job market. Keep him. Reward him. He is Precision !Service: General repairs & maintenance

Always go here for oil changes. Discount Tire highly recommended them to me several years ago. I have been using them ever since. They are honest, reliable, & don't try to fleece you. They check my vehicles out thoroughly, if they find any issues present, or needing to be repaired in near future they go over issues with me. I highly recommend them.

Honestly the worst experience I've had at an automotive shop so far. Came looking for an alignment and wheel balancing. Didn't even get me into the shop despite the fact I waited a total of 2 hours and 50 minutes when the wait time they gave me when taking my phone number was 2 hours at most. Not even to mention that fact that from the time I left at 4:20 pm to 6:16pm now (they close at 6 pm) they still have never called, texted. or even left me a voice message. I wasted my whole evening staying around their shop in Hickory just for them to forget about us and waste our time. Not to mention the fact that there was not even parking available for the entire time I was there waiting because they only have 9 parking spots total that were filled the whole time. I ended up parking in the Safelite lot next door. Terrible experience going home today with my vehicle the same way it was this morning after waiting hours for nothing is an experience that will be hard to top at any auto shop in the future imo.

The radiator in my work truck cracked while on I-40. Precision got the truck at 3:00 and it was ready by 8:30 the next morning, helping my to reduce my downtime! Thank you for your quick response. Ever since I moved into the Hickory area 4 years ago I've went to this auto shop. I can guarantee that their prices are fair and the staff are reliable and competent. If there is something going on with my car they explain it in simple terms for me so that I understand what they're doing. They don't charge for hidden jobs and they are honest. Give them a try.

My husband had our oil change done here twice and we had great assistance with it. Luke the manager was kind and nice plus gave some advice on what to do when needed. He gives out the best prices and opinions. Will be going back again for service to our vehicle. Will refer others to him to help out his business. Wait time wasn't long at all, he made it so it was quick and everything was correct.

I've been coming to the Hickory location for years! Always honest, fast, friendly service & good prices for services! They never make up something just to make a buck. I was in a few days ago for an oil change & Ryan treated me like family....even complimented the music I had playing in my car!Highly recommend!!!

I moved here 6 months ago and have two vehicles, a Toyota and Mazda.Sebastian is a good guy. After only a few visits, he still remembers me by name, puts a good face forward and is always interested in me before my car. I trust him with my vehicles and feel comfortable at this shop.What helped me here is when I took my car to another shop to get my oil changed. They tried to, as they say, "rip my head off," with some crazy prices on my brakes, stating they were down to about 10-15% left. I took it to Sebastian, who came out with me, checked at them, and showed me they were at least 30-40% left. Now, he may not have gotten a brake job from me that day, but I assure you I'm taking BOTH my cars back to him for brakes and any other kind of service. He isn't trying to make you spend money, he's trying to keep your car in the best condition and operating potential.If you are looking for an honest shop, this place is solid. Prices are not insane, service for the job done out of your wallet is reasonable, but the best part is the peace of mind assured when you work with this caliber of professionals.

The staff are very knowledgeable and know how to treat customers right!I brought my vehicle (03 oldsmobile silhouette) in for an inspection and they did a very thorough job!!! Also they were very honest with there recommendations. Only what was needed nothing more nothing less, and at a fair price! I would highly recommend precision tune for any car service these guys will get it done right!!

Honesty. This is the main quality I look for in the people I entrust to service our vehicle.I was very satisfied with the help we received here. We decided to go somewhere new for an oil change, instead of the Hyandai dealership. We are very glad we came here.Of course it did cost the same as the dealership, but if we wouldn't have put our oil change off for longer than we usually do, it would have been a lot cheaper.We will be coming back to service our vehicle here in the future. Everyone did a great job. Thank You All for your hard work.

On Saturday I went to Precision Tune for the first time to get my oil changed. 30 minutes before closing time they were more than happy to help after I gave them a call. I spoke with Luke, the new manager, for a significant amount of time while his techs worked on my vehicle. Luke was friendly and professional, and answered all my questions. He made sure to verify with his technicians that there were no safety issues with my Saab. The oil change was $50 less than the Jiffy Lube I usually use. I highly recommend Precision Tune and will be returning soon!

We were from the Greensboro area... about an hour and forty five minutes away and came to Hickory to buy a used vehicle from one of the dealers this past Saturday. I looked for a mechanic/shop and found the team at Precision Tune of Hickory close to the dealership we were going to visit. The reviews here on Google were amazing. And I can only add to the positive praise. These guys know vehicle repair. For $88 we got a very through pre-purchase vehicle inspection. With an equally thorough walk through of the deficiencies found in the vehicle we were considering. In the end, with full knowledge of the issues, we purchased the vehicle. Andy and his team are amazing. If you have any problems with your vehicle be it auto A/C repair, breaks, struts, shocks, transmission, wheel alignment, tires or an oil change. Take it to Precision Auto Tune Care of Hickory.

These guys have always been straight up with me and gave him a pretty good prices for the services. Best place in town to get your rotors turned. Alignment services are excellent as well and usually best price in town. Most of the time they're quick efficient and polite.

This place offers quality workmanship at a good price. Sometimes it can be busy but that is to be expected at any mechanics shop. They were able to get my oil changed, my car inspected, and a new tire all for under $150 when previous to that at a mother a location I got 2 tires for almost $250.
