My experience with Mr. Tire on South Center St. was very pleasant. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. I've visited several times over the last past 2 months with multiple vehicles and my experience has been the same each time. The pricing was also cheaper than the other shop that use to take my vehicles to.

Brought my truck in yesterday went there without an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation on my Sierra 1500 took around 45 minutes from the time I got there until I left. They charged me 139.00 which I thought was a bit much. When I got home I realized they did not rotate my tires even though on my receipt they said they did (billed as complimentary so I was not charged for it) after finding that I popped the hood open and there was oil all over the top of the engine. For 139.00 I'd recommend going somewhere else.

Great experience with the blond girl I believe her name was Katie as well as the mechanics who helped me with my troubles. Thank you Mr. Tire for being there. I will definitely be returning to this specific location thanks to the best experience!

Walked in with a screw in my tire first thing in the morning while on the way to work. They were able to work me in and patch it to get me back on the road in no time! Chris was incredibly nice and helpful throughout the whole process. I will definitely be returning for future services.

Do NOT use Mr. Tire Auto Service on South center street. I repeat DO NOT! I had my tires delivered there from Simple Tire (paid for a mount and balance at the time of tire purchase). Called Mr. Tire on Wednesday to verify appt for Saturday at 7:30am as I live OVER 45 minutes away. Yup, everything is confirmed. Show up this morning to be told my appt was rescheduled for 9am even though no one called to tell me this. But okay, come back at 9:30am to find my car hasn t been touched yet. FIRST clue should have been an empty waiting room on a Saturday at a tire shop. I tell them it was an irresponsible move for no one to call me to tell me of these appointment changes as I have a 2 year old and am over 45 minutes from home so I ask to speak to a manager and was told I can call Monday, which is not helpful considering I already paid for the service. At this point, a man covered with facial tattoos named Chris says that they will not be putting my tires on because of my reaction in an empty waiting room. Sounds like jailbird Chris just didn t feel like working today. So now I have to try to figure out how to get a refund for a service that wasn t performed. Save your time, energy and money and go literally anywhere else. Waste of 5 hours on a Saturday.

I drove to Hickory from Gastonia on a Saturday. As I arrived my tire light came on on my Pathfinder. I got that 'sick' feeling you get when any light shows on the dash. I pulled out my phone and Googled a tire shop near by. Mr Tire was 3 blocks away.I drove there and the nicest man checked my 4 tire pressures and added some air and that tire light went off! He refused any $$ and the rest of my day in Hickory was awesome.

I was in there for an inspection the other day and everyone I talked to was so kind and they had it done in no time. Then this morning on the way to work my wife and I got a screw in our tire. The crew was able to get if patched for us and get us on our way to work. Chris was super kind and helpful. We ll definitely be going back for future auto needs!

I brought in a wheel off of my car to have a tire replaced that got damaged. While balancing the tech damaged my wheel. They tried to have it fixed but they were unable. It was a very expensive wheel so they agreed to refund my money. The paperwork was done yet I received no refund. I have called and was told to call corporate. I call and email Monroe and they never return any correspondence. Nothing but a serious run around. I guess small claims court is my only way to action.

Just had two tires fitted. Asked for an alignment too but the tech noticed my ball joints are bad and suggested to get those fixed before having alignment done. These folks really look out for you. Chris at the front desk is amazing, he really handles the busy phones and makes customers feel welcome.

The guys at this location are THE BEST!!! My daughter was in today and had a tough time... the parts store gave her wrong part and it turned into a very long and emotional visit... Randy and Chris took such great care of her... they made her feel comfortable and supported and even went the extra mile and gave her credit on work done... just to make her day a little better!! THANK YOU to Chris (Store Manager) and Randy (don't know you're title but you're a rock star) and to the rest of the staff and technicians... Y'ALL are the real MVPS!!!

These guys have been nothing short of amazing and have helped me out greatly as a student. I unfortunately had the unpleasant experience of getting a flat tire on the interstate, a puncture from a nail on my side wall, and had to have it replaced in Charlotte because I was too far away from this store to have it replaced. Sadly one of the managers who previously worked here that no longer works here led me to believe that no matter what happened to my tire it could be replaced under the warranty I purchased, however a road hazard warranty amendment was needed, because of this situation the great guys Chris and Randy offered a free alignment and oil change to make up for this and got me back on my feet again. I trust this shop with my car and will always take it here above anywhere else.

I got in the car this morning and noticed the tire light was ON. This happens a lot with my car so I didn t pay much attention. A few hours later I went to check the tires again and I noticed one was low I figured it was a screw ( it s always a screw) took it to Mr. tire and they fixed it in less than 15mins! Service and people were great, next time my car needs to be serviced I m definitely taking it there. :)

Chris & Randy hands down the 2 two coolest dudes ive ever met. Not only did they get my car in and worked on quickly but they did a great job on it as well. ill definitely be visiting again soon!

These guys were super professional, thorough and really helped me out when I was in a tough spot. The guy that I dealt with was Chris, and he was great. Highly recommend them for your tire needs.

This review is a warning to never go here. Took a car there and it sat in the same spot for over a week. I finally called because they didn't call me, and they told me they didn't have the time or the knowledge to fix a simple thing. A bunch of idiots working here.

Took my car to them after I had already put the spare tire on. They quoted me around $950 to replace all 4 tires. Told them I was going to go get a couple more quotes before I decided and asked them to just leave the spare on my car. They took the spare tire off, reinflated my punctured tire, and put the punctured tire back on my car. No accountability when I called them about it either. Chris yelled and cussed at me. Avoid this place. There are way better tire shops out there that won t try to charge you $125 to mount and balance.

This is a great auto repair shop. I've been going here for 15 years or more. Even under the most recent management change I have always been taken care of and received great service. If you live near Hickory, this should be your go-to auto shop. The General Manager, Bill, is very knowledgeable and has a great team.

Amazing work from these guys all the time, recently had to get my rim rearranged, they said that was so messed up they couldn t find the problem at first, kept my car over night and fixed it up ready to go the next day. Will always refer these guys. Great service and respectable people who will get the job done no matter how difficult the problem

I give this place a five star because they have great customer service. Not only did Bill fix my problem in less than 10 minutes, but he also very very amiable and gives his customers great service. John also did a great job in my fixing my car. Don t hesitate going to this place if you need anything, they will always try to at least fix it.Service: Auto detailing

We were vacationing in the area and noticed what we thought was a nail in our tire. We stopped at Mr Tire on South Center Street in Hickory, NC and they took us right away. Turns out it was an earring. They fixed our tire and got us on our way. The guys were super friendly and helpful. Top notch service! We really appreciate you fixing our tire so we can head home back to Pittsburgh tomorrow safely.Service: Tires

I was in Hickory from out of town. My car started giving me trouble. I pulled into Mr Tire, without an appointment, and the guys there took care of me. They were able to diagnose the problem and assured me that all was well. The employees here are a very nice group of people and it was a pleasure doing business with them. I highly recommend Mr. Tire

I am new to the area and had driven over a nail and my tire went flat overnight. I put my spare on and drove right up the road to Mr. Tire. They were extremely friendly, fast and efficient! They had my tire fixed and loosened my nuts on all the other tires for free. I couldn't be more appreciative of them and the awesome work they do. I plan on making them my go to place for anything tire related. And I will also be referring them to others any chance I get.

Many people have had problems here they left a bolt loose on my alternator and it melted in 2 months and they did something else to my car I have find out what s rattling. They are crooks. Karma will find you out. Then all the money and bad deeds won t be enough to save you from your own evil deeds towards others.
